I have to say that this is one of the best games I have played in a while. Even though it is fairly simple, it keeps you on the edge of your seat. I literally felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up at certain parts. Bravo 5/5

pfft. When I want the guy to open the door again (the one with the turning handle) he screams I"M NOT GOING BACK THERE. but the moment i save him, he goes I GOTTA GO BACK!!

Also, stop spoiling the game for other people by ruining the "scare parts"... Giving a play by play of what you did (what everyone has to do) for such a short game and ending it with "lol" is completely moronic, how does that get voted up?

The golden statue, and "lucky piece of coal" are two Easter eggs to classic Point-and-click adventure types. The scale may be also, but at very least it is like the windows in the game. You click and get a description or comment, that's how these games work. They are not metaphors, you aren't deep. 5/5 AWESOME game dude! I'm all tingly...

It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not wake up. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren’t being tortured. The only way that they realized they needed to wake up was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to wake up. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP.

Very spooky, but I rapidly ran out of things to do, got lost, and just gave up. Stops being scary when you're just wandering through the same six rooms going "What the hell do I do now?"

The last remaining items the scale, coal and golden statue seem like a metaphor. Though this game scared the crap out of me, i think it made more sense as a glimpse into the human psyche of our subconscious. 5/5

This is an absolutely great game. I love the basic 8 bit graphics to. I have never actually jumped while playing a game before. I was not expecting this to be so interesting. I can't think of anything other then a 5/5 for this game. Keep up the good work.

This was a good game. I have to thank you for adding one simple thing that most point and click games don't bother with, which is a way to tell what is actually "clickable" by expanding the crosshairs. Good luck on any future projects. 4/5

IMPORTANT: Let's get something straight here, Deep Sleep is NOT 8bit. A game can only be referred as 8bit if it has only 16 colors not the fact that it's pixelized. Get it right!
That's right. Most of the images used in the game are PNGs saved as 8bit files but there is some additional alpha blending here and there that shouldn't be possible in true 8bit games :)
