It's entirely possible to get stuck in a meteor when charging up the "star jump" to break it. I've had it happen twice in one game. Mallow just gets kind of fuzzy and doesn't move any more. I can change his facing, but that's it until the end of the round.

Please fix that frozen character bug, it keeps bugging me! I have win7professional, IE 9.0.8 and the latest flash player (I recently redownloaded it from their website)

bravo on dealing with players with professionalism and kindness, i know that bugs arn't your fault but can be frustrating to both sides, glad to see you willing to work on faults, i decided to improve my rating for this game to 4/5. =)

I agree with everyone about the jump and speed boots. We should be faster, and jump higher with those maxed regardless of what Power UP we have activated, or are lucky enough to get activated. I have gone many rounds without receiving a Jupiter Jump power up even appearing, instead being stuck with Rainbow Stars and time stops. Although nice, you can't really harvest the gold stars as quickly. It's almost pointless to even upgrade the gold/silver stars upgrade because you know you will not be able to collect them unless you get lucky. Good game besides this though. I think maybe there should be Diamond stars beyond the gold ones that you absolutely need the Jupiter Jump for, but you should have most of the gold ones available to those who have maxed speed and jump.

It's just a little disheartening knowing you can't reach almost any of the gold stars even with the jumping maxed out. There's a reason I spent my time upgrading those, it would be nice to have those efforts rewarded.
The jump upgrade and the Jupiter jump powerup go hand-in-hand. You're not always supposed to be able to reach gold stars. That would make the game mega easy. We'll see what we can do to clear that up though. Thanks for the feedback!

not a bad game but after buying the teddy there is no real motivation to keep playing the game in my opinion nice ending though

I'd like to see an extra tier to each of the upgrades... That would make this game a hundred times more fun, I think.

My char froze even when i didnt hit the space twice fast. i got the problem while pressing left arrow key and pressed space twice (slowly)

i loved the game the colors and sounds were awsome i give this a 4/5. just opinion but i believe you could have added more to this game to make it even better such is bad stars that hurt you or a challange mode just a idea =]
Thanks for the suggestion! We had considered a lot of different ideas along the way. At one point there were going to be bad guys that take Stardrops from you...but we axed it =P

It would be a good idea if upgrades were earned with EXP, but you still had those stardrops to buy the bear, so the endgame wouldn't be a game of "when do I stop upgrading and go for the bear, if I choose wrong time it'll take 30 minutes to come back there..."
I try to get to as many comments as I can. I'm a fulltime game developer at Insomniac Games, so free time can sometimes be pretty rare as you might imagine. Though I make a point not to respond to pointless or mean spirited comments, that's just wasteful.
