I think it needs a "middle mode". I want to be able to play without that annoying twitch (even a sway would be better) but i absolutely loved the money system in past games. + if you agree!

Realism mode is great, and very realistic except three things. One, the enemy would move around, like especially if you snipe soldier 1, soldier two is right next to him at the time, and he doesn't turn around and notice. Two, everyone would here the noise. All guns are very loud, especially snipers. Three, a professional assassin doesn't randomly twitch or move every 3 seconds. Even I don't.

Took me a while to figure out mission 10. For those confused, here are some hints: You'll need three bullets. Only one of those goes into a human. Shoot to wound.

What I find to be slightly irritating is the fact you can't go back to old missions and earn some more money... lets say on mission two you shoot the first man then miss the next. you get paid but if you go back and snipe them both with 100% accuracy you still got nothing.

I went through all that just to lose my progress???????????????
1/5 for losing progress and not being able to get rid of that popup telling you to press home.

The more "realistic" you make these games, the worse they get...it's about shooting stick figures for christ's sake. The first game was good because you had to really read the mission debriefing and objectives to get it right (i.e., "we know the target likes to drink coffee and read the paper on the train, figure out who it is"). Now you've dumbed it down ("shoot person X") and focused instead on making the screen shake while you reload. Not really an improvement.

I played on realism, yet there is one flaw: 5 fails does not mean game over. I had 12 fails total, and it never end the game for me. This seems to be a minor flaw in the game.

Gotta say, I was hoping this game would be more entertaining rather than frustrating. It is well made, and created to give a sense of realism. I appreciate that. What I don't particularly like is when I'm trying to beat Mission 11, and because it is quite difficult to actually accrue money and upgrade your weaponry I can only get off two shots before the mission is over. Two shots, to hit two moving targets. Miss even one, and I can not possibly complete the mission because of recoil/reload time.

For those confused about mission 10: you have to shoot the box, then when the guard comes out, shoot him in the leg. The door will open and when it does, shoot the box inside; this will prevent the door from closing. Hope this helps.

This series is vile. It spends as little effort as possible crafting realistic humans, but puts a lot of detail into bloodsplatter and gore. Does it think it's good or helpful to view sniping this way? If good, that's sick. If helpful.... I know I'm happier knowing that people are being conditioned to feel successful about the blood cloud released when a human head explodes.

@da mission 10 shoot power box on the right buiolding when guy walks out shoot him in the leg when bunker opens shoot power box on right then shoot the guy trying to close the door

I feel cheated on mission 9. I followed the spoter, and on the forth kill, i losed. I took me some time to figure out that he missed (or sound bugged) on guy.

Idiots guide:
Save up money till best gun is affordable
Buy best gun
Buy best sight
Buy hints every mission
Easy game with lots of random twitching

I believe the "realistic" jerking is linked to a HEARTBEAT, so if you aim in between the pulses, you have a better chance.
Of course, I think some people could just hold their breath like Snake...

Okay, so on mission 10 you need to:
1- shoot the small rectangle at the bottom of the wall on the right to make a guard come out
2- shoot the guard who steps out in the legs and the bunker door will open for a moment
3- shoot the generator (that powers the door) inside the bunker (it is on the right inside the bunker when the door opens).
I must have repeated this mission 10 times before finally completing it, so I thought I would help ease other people's frustration as well.

All hints are available free in the casual mode, Why do we have to pay for them in the realistic mode? Number 7 I beat by killing all 3 guys, Didn't check the hint and left the light on

what would be even cooler, for the next game, is if it had real bullet ballistics ( such as bullet drop, being blown around by the wind etc.) and if the "highly trained" sniper learned how to hold a rifle steady, or at least get a rifle rest for christ sake

To beat mission ten, first, you have to shoot the box leaning against the wall of the building on the right. When a guard walks out, shoot his leg. The door of the second building will open up. There is a box on the right side inside the building. Shoot the box to stop the door from closing.

okay seriously, put some advice on how to close to message screen...cool to know that home gets me to the main menu....but what if i don t want to....how to i close the message window? Plus, like Flig said, that's totally not a realistic crosshair movement....the movement is a continued one, not some kind of mouse lagspikes. 4/5 otherwise. Good game.

Solider: Sir! I see a sniper on the roof! General: no that cant be, he's probably just taking pictures. Solider: but i see a gun! General: stop making false claims just to get a....*sniped* Assasin: Headshot! Solider: Retard............

Mission 10 - Shoot the Stereo (or whatever it is) on the right side of the screen. A guy will come out of the building, shoot him n the leg (no head shots boys...) The central building door will open. Shoot the Generator, not the guy.

So.. 2nd mission, I have the 2nd to best bolt-action sniper. I aim at the soldier calmly resting by the tree. I hold my trigger and fire as soon as the reticle is directly on his head. I fire. APPARENTLY his head is also metal so it fractures off and he calls the alarm. LOLWHUT?

We are a world class sniper I'm presuming. So in mission 5 why do we feel the need to sit in a spot so that our target is behind the tall grass?

You actually have access to ALL weapons in arcade/casual mode, even if the game claims otherwise: You can just go to store, sell the crappy weapons, buy the weapon you want, go to equipment and equip it. It will remain greyed out, but you can equip and use it once you bought it.
