The enemy ranged units are godly. All my troops, small gunners/snipers/grenadiers killed by 2 of them? I had decent upgrades but reallly? I like a challenge, but this is just frustrating. 2/5 because so unbalanced, money issues & upgrades seem to do nothing.

Good game. One thingREALLY needs fixing, though. The path clicking to move a charater to a destination is way to insensitive. I find myself selecting and clicking an area over and over before they move where I want them. The frustration makes it three stars for me, otherwise it would be a five star game.

It does have some problems in gameplay, notably: 1) the indeterminate point and click approach is flawed and requires pinpoint-accuracy (or a lot of practice) and 2) the troops do not respond effectively to commands when ordered. But overall, it's a good effort.
I like that the game resists a gameplayer's urge to try an immediate rush attack and that there is a moderate difficulty level in this game.
It's good to make a game hard, but it shouldn't be so hard to play. 4/5

Fun game! Like a lot of people said turret placement is key in the midlevel maps. Move turrets on multiple levels to back each other up, and wait till you collect a good bit of money. Last couple of levels go really quickly if you use neutralizers and rush.

Here's the deal people... Use patience to overcome the enemy. This is not your typical Build units and charge the enemy (aka rush attack). There is safety in numbers, and you MUST build your numbers first PRIOR to any attack. It works.... I'm on level 9 as it is, and this concept seems to be working fine for me. Great game as it makes you think a little bit more then the norm. 4/5 stars for me..

Have you ever even heard of playtesting? This game REEKS of being untested. It's very unbalanced. The enemies build lightning fast, while your building is slow. They have no income problems, while your only source of income is killing. They have insane range, you have to close and lose half of your soldiers trying to get into range. Until the balance issues are fixed, 2/5. It has potential, but it's like you just threw it together without ever trying to play it.

Even on easy, this is extremely difficult. I couldn't even get past level 5. The ranged enemies seem extremely overpowered.

3/5 Making the enemy as the only income (interest is to low to count) while the enemy has yet again infinite funds is not really a good design..

For those having trouble will level 5, you can go back and redo some of the earlier levels and get more skill points. I'd recommend improving all the soldier types you can use too.

sometimes my guys make a nice line. sometimes they bunch up and get killed all at once by an area attack. sometimes they're able to shoot at enemies a mile away. sometimes they can't. MAKE UP YOUR MIND ALREADY

good game but there is a glitch when i drag all units to a spot it lagged on me and my drag click rectangle glitched and it stayed and i couldnt pick up all my units at the same time.... can you fix the problem

For level 5 just wait you killed the boss before you advance, and be careful to the flying monsters, they're very dangerous !

@solman: use rocket turret as many as you can, if enemies attack it, sell your turret before enemies destroy it, so you had a little extra money to build another turret or train soldier

I like this one, specially beacuse i love sideview games :P i like the fact that you can queue soldiers, even if you haven't got any money

BTW to everybody who complains that snipers are useless, and to everybody who complains that their units shoot farther:
Snipers shoot SIX levels. They are amazingly useful against ranged units and towers.

I dig the game - it could use some polishing. The key to the harder level is getting through the first few waves where you can start generating $. Set up turrets in the right area where they can cover more than one level. Back them up with the right men. Keep your barracks low with checkpoints higher up on the map - that way you can fall back when necessary. Good luck!

OK game. Controls get in the way. Every time a marine shoots an enemy, he forgets where he was going, so you have to constantly tell marines to advance.

I timed it, with the game already cached it takes 30 seconds before I can click anything. Speed that up; I want to start playing!
