I'm not quite sure what I'd prefer as a hitchhiker. Get in the car with someone so wanted that the police are willing to kill people and deploy mines, or stay on the road as a target for those policemen.

Similitude between Road of the Dead and Soul Driver are actually complete coincidences, I wrote the whole game concept before Road of the dead was even released ;)

The cops are immense jerks. I'm just driving along trying to obey the speed limit and BAM they rear-end me so I go way past it just as the radar tags me.

This is an awesome game!
There are of course (as is with all games) a few problems with it, but I can look past them because it's so fun to play!

Some other things: When you're at 90% damage, pray that you're lucky enough to survive to get to a water puddle. Henchmen can rip you to shreds if you don't avoid them fast enough. I would restart if you get to 2 miles with over half damage (or even 1/4). On avoiding mines, try to drive straight until the helicopter drops it, then move to a different part of the road. Rinse and repeat. Of course, you'd be best off taking out helicopters as soon as possible. On the police cars, the rear-ending will make this challenge hell. As I said drive in the middle of the screen, if a police car is going to hit you, then strafe on either side of the road. Slow down if necessary, but most likely you'll have to overtake the police car again unless it gets destroyed somehow. Be aggressive. You can rear-end police cars with no damage, and pushing police cars from the side may be necessary to ensure that you aren't forced into an obstacle.

9.25 miles on last challenge: Play normally, don't use the police cars as escorts (I tried this with driving at 20-25 mph but the helicopters and henchmen killed me every time). Use boost on ramps only to take down helicopters and to get past construction sites. Stay relatively in the middle of the screen, but you should speed up to avoid getting rear-ended and slow down to be able to react fast enough to obstacles or to let police cars hit other objects. Remember that the only objects that don't disappear upon being hit are road sites, cacti, and power poles (yes this doesn't include spikes). Stay on either the right lane or the left lane, never the middle. This allows you to go the side of the road to avoid stuff if necessary.

I drive like a devil, I don't care if i kill anybody ( though the cops normally kill more) I've taken on 5 or 6 cops at once along with a helicopter. I pick up hitch hikers here and there, but they're normally killed by me running into construction signs and stuff like that, and I agree with AmbroseMerle, who really is breaking the law?

i am trying to slow down and then that fricking police care bumps and i go faster and i get a ticket whos now breaking the laws the police also crashes in to peaple and kiling workers

the challanges are so hard man, it's like imposibble to finish it, maybe only lucky person can earn the medals, i even cant get one... :(
my opinion make it quite easy, because i think it's not worth it for 30 pts from the time that i spend

The best thing is still, how I'm speeding down close to the radar and the police car is hitting my bumper and speeding me up, so I get a ticket - splendid police work for the financial benefit of the nation!

The Crazy Jumper challenge is really stupid. The distance between jump board & obstacle is so far apart that max speed & acceleration cannot clear it.

Those driving cop cars care little for hitchhikers, street signs, traffic cones, construction workers, tommy gun wielding mobsters, land mines, and even their own pedestrian brethren. The only thing they know and respect is the sanctity of the pit stop.
