Huh. Everything stacks, so far as I can tell. And I mean *everything* so far. Two totems overlapping the same tower? Twice the effect. Two energy chasms, upgraded? Double-upgraded fire rate. Two cursed cemeteries? Four skeletons per manor.

I'm glad that it's possible to gain experience over and over on the same stages and difficulties, the game gets way less stressful thanks to this ;)

I can't explain why, something about the 'Fake Kid' thing makes me laugh. Well thought out game, nicely done. And a complete interface! Flyover help, detailed info on units, clear layout ... can't stress enough how important the little details make the game. Too many developers come up short in that area. Top marks 5/5.

Great update on a very good game. I thought shortkeys were the main thing lacking, now it's done. Though this is a classic TD that doesn't revolutionnize the game, it is everything we need. Many funny little thing, a good durability, nice graphics: congratulations! 5/5

Very well made game, great elements from Kingdom Rush and Cursed Treasure. An almanac of some sort would be nice; I love reading those (especially with funny descriptions :D).

I maxed out the points but I'm still struggling to get triple diamonds on Levels 10, 11 & 12! All I want to see is if there some hidden thing that unlocks at the end lol

we should be able to sell our towers for full price before the first wave starts. this way, we can plan out our towers without having to keep clicking restart.

A very well-made game, but the upgrades for the archer skeletons seem redundant. The bramble effect should have been for the Bully Camp instead, since hardly any enemies get close to the archers. Also, an almanac of some sort would be greatly appreciated. An extremely addicting game, nonetheless!

Once you get far enough, the strategy basically becomes "Bastion of Venom+A.Totems+Abyss of Manipulation"; BoV have 224 damage and nearly three shots a second, basically hitting 1200 DPS apiece with 3 totems. You don't need Poison or Weaken (getting more BoVs is cheaper&better), just have several BoVs with totems and that'll deal obscene damage. AoM lower Shield, Slow foes and can confuse them, making instant troops. A pair of them can easily slow-lock foes, while the BoVs annihlate everything. If you want to farm XP, do Level 10. It's the best choice as the level is straightforward and it gives ~1k XP at Diamond.
Skeletons are kind of worthless mid-game on.

Great game! Only complaint, I wish we could subtract points from individual upgrades, rather than having to reset the entire page. It sucks resetting 70 points just to move a couple around.

Despite similarities to 'Don't Touch My Gems', it's probably a good thing that this game isn't called 'Don't Touch My Kids!'

In my opinion it is too easy to sell a tower.
Sometimes the sell icon is almost on another tower and if you want to select it you klick on the sell icon.

Fantastic in game music; it really adds to the atmosphere and manages to instil a sense of heroism, urgency, or even impending doom and despair as you are playing. The rest of the game has a cute yet retro feel and is simple yet addictive and challenging. I really like this game a lot, there goes another afternoon, lol.

too short, needs more stages. cant possibly come close to maxing out by last stage, needs more "challenges" besides redoing older stages over and over

"Hints and tips" -> Video Walkthrough. Not what I expected. I had more hoped for "tips" because always with TDs, I can't decide between more towers or fewer upgraded towers and such things..

Evernight, perhaps it means that you are (1) a demon and (2) you are experienced, as opposed to being an experienced hunter of demons.

I'd like if the current tower's attributes were shown when upgraded. It would be nice to know how much each item increases by. Other than that, classic and very fun Tower Defence!

36 Diamond stars was probably one of the most fun and interesting challenges I've come across in a while. Watchtowers for the win.

I was watching my task manager for chrome and the game starts at less than 700K memory but just keeps committing more and more until it's well over 1.5 million, causing the lag. Something needs to be fixed so I don't have to refresh this every level or two just to make it playable.

I just tested all levels with archer towers and it works almost perfectly even in level 10-12 very hard mode!
Try this if you get stuck on some level (I have level 41, by the way)

For those of you who want to grind the fastest, a heads up, grind on level 12. Make sure you have all the upgrades for the watchtowers, then just place 6 watchtowers in the middle, and upgrade them evenly as you go along. To stall the mobs, you need only place a single fully upgraded bully camp near the children, in the middle of them, and it helps if you have Wellfed Kids, Good Care as well as Fake Kid maxed out, since it will greatly improve your survivability. I'd say go for 4 Citadel of Frosts and 2 Bastion of Venoms, ensuring to put a freezing arrow into each before maxing out Iceberg Launch. For added awesomeness, add a totem of accuracy or two near the watchtowers.
It helps if you have your mana regen maxed with chain lightning, to pick off those hard to kill enemies. On average since level 18 I've been gaining 2-3 levels per playing level 12. You can boost the difficulty as you see fit, I however play on medium for a +25% XP bonus. + this so others like you can benefit. :)

There's not much here that wasn't already used in some other game, but wow does this manage to pull off an excellent combo! 5 stars from me as well. Only thing that is annoying is that new tower types you unlock don't go back to earlier levels.

Sorry about the black screen bug. The problem seems to be linked to the update of kongregate yesterday. Everything seems to be put in cache now, including the name of the game file, which is what caused the problem as the page tried to load an old file that wasn't on the sever anymore.
We found a workaround, and it should work now.

is anyone else having a problem with the lag? i have to refresh the game after every level or its too slow to be played properly :/

Nice game with a good mix of kingdom rush & cursed treasure. game is very polished and fun. the only 2 minor points that I noticed was that #1 pressing escape doesn't cancel your selection (ie if you are placing buildings) and #2 totems should be allowed to be placed before towers, that way I can better plan my layout. other than that great game

I saw the opening animation and was like "Yeah, let's go get those rotten kid stealing baddies..." Saw units I could choose from "Oh...Let's get those darn good guys, they suck!"

I normally don't bother rating tower defense one way or the other since it's not my thing on the whole, but I'm impressed that you kept the performance tight. Way too many TD's (even pixel-style ones) are poorly optimized, leak memory, and bog down miserably, but this one chugged right along even at its most chaotic on 4x speed. Props, man.
