The color code is: 1= red, 2= green, 3= blue, 4= yellow, 5= light blue, 6= pink/purple. So for the octagon the three tiles closest to you, starting from the right is Red, Blue, Light Blue. For the back three, starting from the right is Yellow, Pink/Purple, Green.

For those of you struggling with the octagon, each plate, when stepped on, makes the light blink so many times. For example, one of the lights is 2, so step on it 2 times. If you find yourself stuck in the middle on an incorrect one, with two correct ones around you, just remember the color. You can always step outside and back in to reset it. I do not have the exact color code. Ill leave that for the next person to find it!

For those who are colorblind: You can set the colors to shades of grey. Just look at menu->settings.
Also there is a little spelling mistake in the German menu. It says "Graustöne" (Graus=Horror :D) instead of Grautöne.

hey guys i know how to win on the plank make both colers red and go through the door throw down other plank go back mmake em look like doors leave peal room large,meduim,huge,tiny,big,small. on the telescope code is 739339 on multiple buttons room hit first button then last button on tv room get screw driver unscrew steel wall get extension cord connect with pluge go to out let got to invatory click the cord the code is 954271 room 7 look at light when on indacates how many times you need to change keep this cooment alive plz it helps!

@jsilivis- the number of flashes is to the number of times you step on that area thus the corasponding color. once you get it right you win

I really didn't like the TV level, and not just because of the glitch. Turns out, you were supposed to write down the order that guy appears on the channels, but he only appears on five of them (only six channels are working). So you need to turn on/off the TV couple of times in order to memorize the order. (sigh) And here i thought it had something to do with the numbers above the camera..

in the last level starting from the top right going left you do yellow, violet, green then on the bottom left going right it is light blue, blue, and red

The colors in that room come from how many times each of the lights flash. If it flashes once, its the first color in the order, if it flashes four times, its the fourth color.

Telescope bit was really freaky, loved it!! Rest of the game was ok but lacked a storyline, could have done loads more with it. Part 2 is loads better.

in the octagonal room each light flashes at a number 1-6.. but i dont get the colors?? i understand were "impossibly" supposed to walk by order but the colors !!!

Very good! Only problem was that I had to restart the game a couple of times before I got the TV level to work. First, the cables disappeared after looking at the TV/number pad before hooking anything up. Next try, I plugged the TV cable to the extension cord first and then couldn't attach the extension cord to the outlet. Otherwise, such a good game. On now to Gateway II! ^_^

light bulb one is easy. everytime you step on the floor it changes color. there are six colors total not counting the default color of the floor. when you step on that floor the bulb will blink how ever many times and you match the color order with the number of blinks. ie, two blinks=red floor. cheers!

I don't get wtf you're supposed to do on the octagonal platform.
The flashing lights make me think I'm supposed to step on the sectors corresponding to lights that flash once through six times, but there's no way of doing so without stepping in others sectors and messing it up.

The very first room is hard for color blind players. I had to just try random combinations of the three shades of yellow and two shades of red until it worked.

Any game with unresolved glitches reported over three years ago deserves no more than one star. It certainly deserves no badge if the developer makes no effort at game-maintenance.
