For those who would complain about the non-existent nature of this game as a flash game now: Moving from making free games to paid content is a natural step for many game developers, especially when you have a game as intricate and detailed as Mu Complex. You cannot complain about games going paid. It was provided free for a time, the dev feels they deserve money for the work they've done. And they're right to feel that way. Stop complaining. If you like the game, support the developer, purchase it. It's incredibly fun to begin with.
I think most people are complaining simply because they don't have a job so they can't buy a ten dollar game on steam.

I would have bought this game on Steam with no reservations, but the way this is being handled I definitely will not. This game got quite a bit of attention on Kong, and it's like a slap in the face to both Kong and the fans - not only do we no longer have access to it, but now it's a game we must pay for. That's no the way to go about things, devs. Ask your fans, embed some ads, do whatever you feel you need to do to generate revenue - but don't give us something for free, and then decide later that you want something in return after all.

@carbonaether The game was taken down. StudioCime Already contacted Kongregate staff and it'll be deleted as well. Since StudioCime will be selling the game on Steam starting on October 23rd, they won't keep the game on kongregate anymore. Which, in my opinion, is a really bad move towards the fans. If they really wanted to have an episode 3, they'd just put up a PayPal account or sell the game on steam without taking it down on kongregate. Maybe do like the Expera Game Studio did with "A Matter of Caos", making a special version available to those who pay while keeping the game here. It's specially bad when you realize Kong gave this game badges, which in a way promoted the game, and StudioCime decided users can't get those anymore after getting all the attention they needed. I really hope that after they get enough funding for Episode 3, they put the games back on Kong for free.

Game doesn't work properly, after entering password and hearing click, nothing happens. Type help and get "brucedaytonhelp command not found" message. Too bad for me, seems like it's enjoyable when it works.

Just a minor suggestion: At the birthday part near the beginning, maybe make it so that if his birthday was January First, 1901 then it would be 1/1/1 instead of 01/01/01, if you know what I mean?

Well this was rather more easy than I assumed…! Maybe because this exact stuff was my day job for a little too long. ^^

Lol. Upvote when you knew the colors just by reading them, and actually thought ASCII was actually easier than having to subtract 64 before feeding those numbers to ord(). ^^

To assume in >2115 they’d still have newspapers… and TVs… and diseases like religious schizophrenia… and short passwords… and use a mouse and a keyboard… and no memetic brain-computer interface… Damn, I already don’t have anything of that right now! (Unfortunately the BCI is not ready … *yet*!)

If Mu Complex didn't think my character could figure out how to read files with a command prompt, then why did they hire him for a job where he exclusively uses a command prompt to deal with files...? ._.;
