No leaderboard? :-( I just got 429, after a few practice rounds. In another forum someone claimed 620 was his highest score...

I sure wish I could see some sort of leaderboard... it's nice to know what sort of scores other people are getting. Anyone else break 320 (after lots of practice)?

did the upgrade system change? I could get upgrades for a while, then the whole piece of the game disappeared. I rather liked that bit of the game

Fun for about ten minutes and then you've seen everything the game has to offer, but hey, there's room in the world for bite-sized games too. What's there is flawlessly executed.

I agree with laserbeam. Although if you don't use his idea can you make this game work with the kong API? I think it would be easier.

I really love this game because of its simple and addicting gameplay. But I would also love to see API and Highscores added here on Kong, so we could make some highscore hunts with friends.

So... first shot ever: 15 ships. By game two I was getting hundreds per bullet. I don't know how it happened, BUT IT IS AWESOME! 5/5

would be epic to have something like an in game medal-milestone, something like first blood, 100 kills in one game, 200, 300 etc as well as for killing ships with one bullet, nothing that really has anything to do with gameplay but would be a nice cosmetic touch

in no way is this game about timing - or any form of skill for that matter. the duration of the chain reaction (and thus, your score) is determined by the influx of ships. assuming the flow is regulated by a random number generator, the "game" is purely about being lucky.

my last shot usually doubles the number of ships i have destroyed so far... and i love it man lol. It's all like "gooo lil bomb, a lil up gogogo *BOOM* ". You just made a great addicting game with nothing more than an awesome idea, congratulations.

it's a little annoying that, since there are never all that many ships on the screen at once, getting a really good combo is mostly luck (ships entering from the sides at the right time to get hit) but overall fairly amusing for how simple it is. it's not really a game you can "master" so much as it is a fun diversion.

elegant, simple, easy, and yet strategic, gritty in just the right way. all in all a marvelous game. cannot wait to see what else you come up with.

First of all, I think if you took this game and expanded it, made different upgrades like having ships that you could buy to come through (kind of like the way indestructotank did it)/ start with only two bullets and upgrade the amount/allow bullets to pass through a certain number of ship/have different types of bullets that behave in certain ways and go at certain speeds and one can upgrade each one/etc, I think it would turn out pretty great. This game is begging for such a treatment. Second, this is a whole lot of luck beyond a point really. If you're capable of getting the chain started, by the time you destroy a few ships you're already relying almost solely on whether or not ships will come onscreen in the right places at the right time. There's a reason the highest score is around 2000 (an average of 200 kills per bullet), and considering there aren't 200 enemies on screen at one time you have to figure luck is primarily what's in question.
