great game,i love how you dont have to wait forever to make a alliance,no "you need 100000 points to create a alliance" screen and its not too hard to fight,Ex:i had 10 defenders going against 40 and i killed about 6 guys in first round with no losses,i got pwned later but still xD
also,its simple to get the hang of it,i learned it in the first 10 minutes,im not gonna end this by yelling "THIS GMAE NEEDS A F***ING SEQUEL!!!!" but instead, this game is so awsome that it doesnt need a sequel

o and another thing i forgot its an old saying we used to use a person that can stop from becomeing somones conquer is a noob but somone that can has skills that know high level will every acheive
basicly it means that if you just got the colony a few days ago and try and protect it you will lose because there would likly be somone a higher rank then you but if all you do is work on building buildings you will build up much faster

I personally think this game is great.. I play it some guys in my vent some epic,tense,shitty,etc moments its a real rollercoaster if you get into it. Worth your time imo

One work of advice. On your first playthought do NOT do really well. This was my first playthrough, I was playing on Fantasy 1, and I had topped the charts as the most powerful character bit a significant margin. At the beginning of the 5th day I was banned by Seth (the admin). Basically he said no noob could do so well his first time wihtout cheating.
It isn't a hard game if you put time to it. Indeed the ingame achivements give you in game bonuses when you get them (so there is a sort of advantage you have if you are doing this your first tmie, as you get more bonuses vs experienced players who have already gotten their achievements).
Not usually a fan of MMO, but good game. Poor adminstration. Would have rated this game high but for the admin. So need to give it a 1/5.

Why wont many of the real good players help teach noobs? Im a noob and no-one will really help out besides saying ' Get good resources and a big army' well I know that but how do I go about doing that?

Psyman you just got unlucky and inexperienced. You probably put your colony in the middle of the top alliance territory (not your fault but not theirs either). The ships most likely started somewhere out of your colonies radar range. During the protection period you need to either make deals or start plotting. The community is kind to those who are also kind, so in globabl chat dont yell at people or get into arguments.

this game is very noob friendly(easy at start to learn the basics). great amount of strategy and teamwork is involved which is awesome. only thing is maybe need more worlds, but if you cant thats cool. just keep this game growing.

@c4truth you can select multiple units/ships by holding down control and clicking on another ship, or select all ships/units from the starting to the one that you clicked by holding down shift and click

Not gonna lie, at the beginning I wasn't impressed. "It's just a stupid MMO", I thought.
Well, after the tutorial I was already addicted!
It's actually a lot of fun, and it's definitely not true that whoever pays the most wins.
It's a pretty challenging game, and you have to come up with a good strategy in order to win.
I also like a lot the fact that you can manage various colonies in different words with ease: in this way the waiting is not too bad. They did a really good job here, chapeau!

This game is not user-friendly, it is only fun for the 2 power alliances, newbies and not as powerful players are left in the dust, they attack every time you build an outpost. There is nothing to encourage a player to continue. Once players build their 45 buildings, they abandon the game and move on. Sad really.

I love this, game as people said before me, it's much better than Heroes of Gaia, or any other game like these, it doesn't take as long, and it is easy to update your forces, if you need to, then if you want it to take longer, you can spend more time on it, all in all, it's better than most games, plus I'm GLAD it have badges, everygame deserves them. (Don't rate me down, just because people said the before me, I'm merrily restating that, not trying to copy)

Some of the best comments make really good points. The people that only play for badges rate it low because they take too long to get them. For this reason if you enjoy playing this game rate it 5 stars, and rate up this comment. It'll make the rating more fare.

If you want to play against more people, just go to www.battledawn.com. There are lots more people there and there are no badges. Much easier, and lots of newbies there. If you think this game is horrible go to www.battledawn.com and play. You will probably get to rank 1 faster than anywhere else unless you use cheat servers which are hard to come across (good ones) but i know a lot of them. Don't ask me about them.

Yea You dont have to BOOST to win the game It helps tho

Way different then Travian, believe me, I played Travian and strategically that game suchs, 1 strong player can defeat 20 weaker ones. Here a weak alliance can easily pwn tyrants, tought pwning an alliance full of tyrants is HARD.

I'm not sure why these games have picked up so much lately. Ceasary, Evony, Lord of Ultima, this mess. There are a lot of options out there. So much time invested and you just end up quitting because its poorly designed. There are just so many badges on this site now I won't ever get. 1/5

what i like about this game is 2 things: 1. Even if you get conquered you can still build up your army and rebel. 2. You don't have to pay money to win.
