Did anybody else notice that Seven Circles by Hoeloe doesn't have a number rating for Crazy? The bar just turns white and the number keeps spinning. My first thought was "Well, thats encouraging."

The scoring confused me for a while, in what kind of game is "Fantastic" better than "Perfect"? Nonetheless, it's a fun game.

@Ihateyou27 Fantastic is better than perfect because that's how it is in Stepmania and Dance Dance Revolution, the arcade games that inspired DJManiax. Perfect is also yellow and fantastic is blue, because that's how it is in those games.

Explanation of cirno's perfect math class. The girl in blue and ice is a grade A idiot but believes she is the strongest of all the fairys, yet she only plays tricks on people. Anyways, the song is basically about her and her stupidity. When it shows the girl and one other person in a backround all it says is "baka" which means idiot. When the girl says something (in the first half) it is denial, when she says something (in the second half) it's like "i dont even know what 1 plus 1 is." Explaining the bus: The girl in blue has a question she goes around asking and it goes like this, if there are 4 people on a bus and 2 1/2 get off at the first stop and 2 get off at the second stop how many people are there on the bus? none, there are no buses where they are. Explaining the train: when the girl in blue gets hit by a train it is a joke on another girls power which is basically opening portals. (i won't go into details) Basically this is a big Touhou referance.

I could say a lot here, but all I'll say is it's not really my kind of game. Before anyone starts bitching at me, it's the BotD for Wednesday so if you want to complain take it up with Kong not me.

So, when you switch between tier 1 and tier 2 songs, there's this thing that says "LOCKED - Get 99 clear points to unlock". Anyone know what this is?

It's different... But there's a reason most beat games use the arrow keys you know. If I had about 4 hands then yes this game would be great. Along with the mental capacity to control those four hands of course, and laser beams that shoot out of my eyes of course. Laser beams are always a plus.

Great game, but it is easier to gain 100% on every song when you use keyboard.
Easy song buttons: osx, paz
standard song buttons: osx(+space) or paz(+space)
crazy song buttons: (number 0)odc+space
With these buttons you can beat the game a lot easier :-)

Is it me or does the 2nd part of Overdrive seem easier than the 1st part? I've perfected Overdrive pt 2 (EX) but only got 95% on Overdrive pt 1.

@vanillabeans: You COULD get more than 80 CP's when badges were added, after that an update made the max get to 80. I downloaded the game when it just got badged, and on that version I already have 85 CP's.

never thought i'd be into these types of games, but definitely 5/5 for me~ Loved the gameplay, and it's different from the generic FFR's that you see everywhere ^u^

The whole "bar moves at whatever speed it wants" sort of ruins this game. If you want the notes to be right after one another, you should have just put them closer together. And the same for slower ones. Things like the bar completely stopping and then randomly starting up again take away the actual skill that you could be building up and just make it stupid random memorization. And the parts where the bar doesn't even move at all but just teleports ahead by itself!? I mean come on some things in a game need to remain constants. That's not even mentioning the fact that notes at different heights don't actually stay at the right height, which is supposed to be the indicator of what key to press.

Want the impossible badge? Seven Circles is unlocked just by getting a few clear points--around 20, I think. Eight Circles can only be unlocked by starring Seven Circles, which means getting 95% on it--something you have to do for the badge anyway. If you can star Seven Circles, you'll be ready for Eight Circles--well, almost. You'll have to play it through a few times, as it has a few traps and one particularly nasty string of notes. As for Dash Hopes 3, simply get an A on both Isabel and Hypnotic Crisis on Crazy mode. (If you can star Seven Circles, this should be no problem.) Like Eight Circles, it will probably require you to play the song through a few times, but getting 80% on Dash Hopes should probably be the easiest bit of the badge. ...Oh, and thumbs up if you really want a translation/subtitles for Cirno's Perfect Math Class. Damn, is that song catchy.

Apparently I got the easy, medium, and hard badges all on the same day almost 2 years ago. Finally got the impossible badge today after a few days of practice! Whew, finally done!

I find 8 circles much harder than 7 circles... My max score on 8 circles is 88,37%. It's the last requirement for my imp badge. DH3 was the easiest of the three.

It's amazing how I tried this game on a different computer, restarting my progress, getting A+ on Isabel and A on Epileptic Crisis, and unlock Dash Hopes 3 (something I was never able to do on my old file). BTW, for the people who didn't unlock it yet, Dash Hopes 3 is HARD.

Must.....get.....impossible badge. So far I've gotten everything except 8 circles (only 83%) but I'm only able to beat it sometimes, keep failing on the where you have to go up and down at the same time....6 times in a row. Since I'm playing on a laptop I do agree that having a key mapping feature would be amazing, but otherwise great game.

For the easy badge, it'd be nice if the game told you how "clear points" are earned. FWIW, I did the first three songs at the lowest difficulty and was able to get the badge.
