Although this game is 5 years old and the dev probably isn't looking at this ever again, I'll post it for new game devs anyway.
In a Breakout-style game, penalizing a player a life for losing an extra-ball is ridiculous.

Dear badge tourists, please beware - despite what it might seem like on first sight, this game test your PATIENCE, not your SKILL. The game is rather clumsy than hard. However if you still decide to go for this challenge - avoid ALL falling powerups. They either don't help you a whole too much or just make your life miserable.

the most important thing in getting the impossible badge are speed downs!! sure it takes forever (took me half an hour) but it is very very easy once you get 2 speed downs.

The impossible took me years. I got way too good at this arbitrary game. Want to walk the path? Hold the arrow key down in the corners. There are varying degrees of 'Up', learn to bounce the ball first. Target smaller clusters and the lower clusters first. There is no advantage to ever keeping a dropping target in the frame. Hit negative power ups last, less to avoid. Hit all the targets around the blasters before finishing it off. Don't get frustrated if you can't get past the 3rd round, that is the most difficult stretch. First chance to get the power ups, do it, but know that after 2 each it doesn't change anything. Try to knock off the negative power ups first, that way the green ones are there if you mess up. Try to summon the patience of Buddha.

I like this game's unique concepts among Breakout-type games, but there's too many design flaws that make the game unenjoyable. Multiball shouldn't make you lose a life for not keeping both balls in play. Mouse control shouldn't be a separate difficulty, and the paddle should keep up with the cursor instead of having a limited speed. The paddle should stop when you release the button and not slide like it's on ice. I'd love the game if the wrinkles were ironed out, but they're not.

Badges aren't hard to achieve, they just take so much time. It's easy to get hasty and mess up on the Impossible badge.

The controls are a PAIN, to get the impossible just work on maxing the slow down and you should be good to go with a few tries.

So, I'm guessing the creator was playing Arkanoid one day and said, " This game is too fun, I bet I could make a much worse Flash version of this!"
And here we are.

YES! Finally, after a year and 5 months, I finally got my revenge for the impossible badge! Take that, TastyLamp and BDSFlash!

Your collision physics needs work. I can't begin to tell you the number of times the ball has hit the bat and slid around it into the bottom of the screen

Part of the soundtrack is from Donkey Kong Country 3, specifically the level Riverside Race. It's a techno version of that music.

There's a mute button? Oh, there we go. Pause first then click. (Why not M or S?) And why no sound effects, just music? I would have preferred sound effects over your choice of music, quite honestly.
Nice game, but have you thought to provide mouse support instead of arrow keys? The game has potential, but would just feel better using the mouse rather than the keyboard.
Also, why the choice to make the objects that fall look identical to the object you must prevent from falling? Yeah they're smaller, but when a lot is going on, it's difficult to tell which is which.
And one more nit-pick (sorry, just trying to provide some constructive criticism) please don't use words like "FAILURE" to indicate game over. You might laugh, but it's really not user-friendly. Seriously.
All things considered, it didn't hold my interest very long mostly due to forcing me to use the keyboard. It's a bit frustrating due to the looseness of the controls.

Just got the impossible badge and heres 'some tips, avoid any red power ups at all cost. Don't get the Nuke looking power up as it will send in two balls and if any fall = game over. Another tip is to make sure your careful when you hit the white glowing power ups epically in the last 5 levels it can cause some chaos and if your going to make it to 15 your going to want to avoid chaos lol anyways good luck!

Developer: Well well well, what is my next game going to be? Well I've already made a Pong game, how about I make another one? Except just to screw with the players, I'll make the bat spherical so the ball will slide off the bat every so often, and make it more difficult. And just to screw with them more, I'll make the bricks fly everywhere and hit the ball and bat, to make it more difficult for the ball to be distinguished from the bricks and to eff with whatever shots the player was going to make. And just to REALLY screw with them, I'll make extra balls in later levels make you lose lives, and then carry those balls over to later levels! Nailed it! Now I get to have an unfair impossible badge! And we all know only the best games have impossible badges, so I'm not going to edit the difficulty of this game in any way!

Came here for the badge. Noticed I had played it 6 years ago. "huh... wonder why I didn't finish" I thought. Around level 4 I was reminded.

Programming the ball breaker to be the same color but only slightly bigger than the average ball-to-be-broke should also be a crime! When balls were flying everywhere! Its hard to keep track where the ball you're meant to save

The "No Orb Left Behind" badge is nothing but a delicacy badge. It's not all that difficult as far as requiring skill, it's just a matter of being very, very careful. Keep that in mind if you attempt it.

With the integration of the ruffle flash player, a bunch of old flash games are replayable, including this one. However, level 4 seems to be glitched where it won't recognize that I've completed it, and the ball is bouncing on blocks that aren't actually there

Oh yeah boi,i am feeling like a legend, and that impossible badge wasn't that hard,i mean, the moneyseize one was much worster, but anyway,it was awful.|Hints:Stay calm, you shouldn't try to finish the level fast, because there's any penalty by taking a long time to beat it.Try to pick the good powerups(slower ball and bigger bat)pick 2 of each, because the bonus stack up to 2 times. And Never,NEVER,pick these extra balls,i beated the game in endurance mode without picking any.GG guys and hope these hints helped someone

My only advice is try to keep your eye on the ball and hit it, not caring where it goes. And try to avoid the extra balls power-up, that makes the impossible badge a lot harder.

For some reason, i get attracted to games with impossible badges. it makes me believe as if it were a great game.
...This is not a great game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Phew... Finally got the Impossible badge. OK I'm gonna give some advice. Rounds 1-4 are probably the hardest things to get past, due to the ball speed. (The first time I got past round 4 was the time I got the impossible badge.) I actually found once I collected two of the green down arrow power ups that the game was a lot more managable. Avoid the three spinning circles power up AT ALL COSTS. Getting the green <> powerup is useful. The key to the game is patience, not speed. It's more important to survive rather than finish a level quickly, so take your time, and at times just slow down and let the ball hit the bat to slow down to a more managable speed. 11-14 get sorta silly with the number of powerups in them. Good luck.

Just earned the Imp. Here are some pro tips:
1. Turn off the chat.
2. Never hold UP. Use it only if ball can't bounce up to orbs left.
3. Never hold RIGHT or LEFT when ball is near end. Rushing at it will only stick it to bat, and if you can''t press UP or stop in the right moment, you are dead.
4. Never bump orbs-bricks. They often do their worst when speeded up.
5. Never pick up Multi-ball. Treat is as an instant death.
6. Don't worry about your bat (especially it's size). If you aren't blind, you should easily get the ball running.
7. Watch out for ball speed. The 2x speed up isn't good, at least if you don't want to get 60x2 points for being extemely stupid.
8. Pause each 3-5 levels and get your fingers back to normal. Level 12 is the hardest I've met, so you might consider [P]ing before it too. It's very advisable to keep yourself out of frustration to beat level 14.
That's all I can say. Good luck!

I thought the game was both interesting and genius, until I got the extra ball and "lost" in edurance mode on level 8. For shame. For shame. Shame on me for not reading comments first. =/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I got the impossible badge after attempt 8. TIP: Don't get ANY extra balls, faster or slower balls, or big or small bats. In this case, focus on nothing EXCEPT for hitting the ball.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i'm at lvl 11 at endurance mode, and an extra ball falls down and it's failure.. whyyy? i still have one ball up there!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I used to like this game before I got the impossible badge. Actually the game is pretty fun, aside from the power up that gives you an extra ball. That is just terrible, because it's almost impossible to not lose one if you have two flying around.
