I think he died at the very start. I mean, look, he was mourning, fell down a long, long way, was in blackness, (Like a transaction to hell) and now he went to hell. Who gets me? That's what I think what happened. He couldn't take the hurt of the loss of his loved one. :'(

I don't say this lightly. In my 20 some odd years of playing videogames I have played a few thousand some odd games from all different types of platforms. Be it PC, Console, or Flash. This is one of the best games I have ever played. Quite difficult, and equally ingenious. Pure gameplay, no fancy graphics are needed here.

Quite moving, very thought provoking game. The reference to Greek mythology is rather interesting, I saw after the first few times that the title of the game translated literally to the game.

Despite having graphics that are straight from an Atari 2600 (I actually owned one as a kid) this game imparts more emotions and feelings than most games with the best graphics. I muted it at the start because I was watching something, and I forgot to unmute it until I was almost done, which sucks because just having the rain made for such a great atmosphere. When I got to the girl, I thought you just had to outrun her. Took me a minute to realize I died every time I turned around. Then I remembered the story of Orpheus. The 2nd half of the game when you're walking back is just brilliant. You have to get by everything without looking back. When the girl was following me, even though it was just pixel graphics, I felt very...haunted, and yet loved by her. Incredible that he was able to create such a game using the simplest of methods. Goes to show that it's quality, not quantity and that sometimes, more really is less.

Wow, this is a great game. at first i thought that dog was the last boss, but it keeps onn going... Beat the last boss... keeps on going Then the ending, which in a way was preety sad. and a tip for the last boss: u can hit him once on the way down then again on the platform, and it is possible to hit him twice each time u get on the top platform by jumping and shooting just before the platform dissapears. but overall, i give this game 5/5

It didn't take me long to beat this game. I recognized the Orpheus reference early on, and I got really into it after that.
The ending caught me off guard, but it was incredible. So sad and beautiful. It made me weep.
This is certainly one of the best games I've ever played.

For some reason, I've always really liked simplistic platformers. Something about them is just very enjoyable, probably partly because a lot of the story and characters can easily be substituted in.

@kamil13 To beat Cerberus (the first boss), you have to hit him 3 times in the rear. The first two times, quickly walk under him when he jumps to avoid him, then quickly turn and shoot. The last time, he does low jumps, so jump over him and shoot.

This game is creepy because it is a mystery...who's grave is it? Why will the thing evaporate if he looks back? And how...how do you evaporate too? Aren't you...It's a huge mystery.

Jeez, if this guy is good enough to kill a freakin' demon, then why isn't he smart enough to WALK BACKWARDS! Great game.
