I think the unfair difficulty comes in with the spirals. I feel like I'm timing them up perfectly but I can't get out fast enough. I think the game just needs some tweaking. I get that a hard badge is supposed to be hard but I've plateaued after so many tries.

Hard badges took around 30-60 minutes. One thing needed for this game is focus: you can't hesitate or spin in the wrong direction. I found it easier to constantly look at the edges of the screen to anticipate correct path, rather than looking at hexagon/arrow in the middle.
Second thing is control/timing, but not much choice than practice to get used to those double spirals after failing dozens of times.
Game gives a bit of a headache.

and i found the mute button on the pause menu.... That is the wrong spot to tell you how to mute, but i withdraw my last comment

It's a music-rhythm game where every decision (almost) has to be correct. If you mute it, give up. If your flash is out of synch, give up. I loved it. I'd like to see each "rank" giving you a clear bonus for rest of the game (e.g. slightly increasing the view distance?) because at the moment the ranks are just annoying - they give you nothing and get you nowhere. But otherwise great. Getting to Triangle was hard enough. Hard badge? FUUUUUUU.... 5/5

80:45 took about 10 mins to get, hate spirals but overall great game plus music was great to get in the zone! (tip is to look at the shade of the triangles around the hexagon and move accordingly since the obstacles usually leave openings on those sectors)

Really enjoyed the game, although it did make me want to kill. Just scored 60.32, that will be my last play of hexagons due to safety concerns for the general public.

Wow, so many comments complaining about the controls...seriously people? You press the right arrow, the triangle rotates clockwise at a constant speed. You let go and it stops. You press and release the left arrow, same thing but anti-clockwise. The only "looseness" is in your fingers.

This is a fun game... for the first 20 plays. After that, you keep playing until your boredom overwhelms you irrational need to beat this incredibly unfair and unbalanced game. 3/5

In regards to the controls, I would have played longer if one key stroke changed orientation by one segment. If I'm going to put time into learning to effectively control my character, I would like to be able to do more than rotate in 2D.

To those l33t hardcore gamers, they think they are so l33t cause they made it... Well some people do Jobs alll the day instead of living in their parents basement and do games for relaxation. We've no tolerance for gamaes (and badges for them) that just make your eyes and brain hurt, its no relaxation, it doesn't train your brain, it just damages it.

Okay, some tips: 1. Learn the movements! Practice! You should realize that movements don't change much over the minute. The speed is an optical illusion of the rotation - you will hold down the arrow a certain amount of time for a certain distance no matter what. 2. In the beginning, focus on moving to empty spaces. As you progress, focus on moving to avoid what is coming. The difference is how far ahead you are looking. 3. Learn the spirals! Like 1, practice. The choppy one requires one held spin, the smooth one requires a pause. 4. Don't get stuck on one position, movement length, or movement direction. Keep it varied to keep yourself on edge. 5. Don't get distracted. Play around with things like audio, distance from screen or sitting comfort to make sure you are focused. NEVER look at your time. 6. Don't get frustrated. Take breaks, even if it's only for a minute (so you retain practice). But losing shouldn't make you negative - focus on the goal and nothing else. Good Luck!

The controls are not too lose, nor too fast, nor is the rotation too fast. They are set at a level which makes the game challenging. It just takes a little bit of practice. It took me roughly 50 tries and probably around 25 minutes, which is actually a pretty sweet deal for a hard badge.

lol, you can downrate me and others all you want, but... http://oi48.tinypic.com/eg96x3.jpg 700+ people including myself have managed with the game's movements. This game is perfectly possible WITHOUT strict movement controls - instead of begging to make it easier, try practicing until you get it. Only took me about an hour, so... I think I've proved my point. I'm about to make a comment with some tips, so I hope it helps.

For all those complaining that it rotates too fast: YOU WILL WANT IT TO ROTATE FAST WHEN YOU GET FURTHER IN! ^___^
Seriously, it speeds up, and you NEED it to move FAST!
To live with it, you've gotta get flow, man, otherwise it's HARD.

BRILLIANT! So things i have noticed that may or may not be true. As you increase your best score the game changes. For example if you are under ten seconds you pretty much only have the easy stuff and once you clear ten seconds the stuff after ten seconds can occur at the very beginning. Also the game is NOT meant to be beaten in one go, you have to play it enough to actually figure out the timing.

wow thats crazy shit O_o a maybe a little bit more precision would be, except that, n1 game. games today are often 2 easy, so.. i like it 5/5 ;D
