If your unit dies, you can close the window to keep from losing them. When you have a lot of XP in one unit, this becomes worth it. Plus this so people are aware!

How about making a minigame in there. Soliders having fun between missions. Like tank or chopper racing. If you win, you get some money to buy more soliders.

It's a fun game but seems a little sloppy at times. I'm not sure how you avoid getting killed by an airstrike, as there's no delay between clicking "Leave the Area!" and the missiles coming down all around you. And although there's a semblance of strategy on some levels, for the most part it all comes down to a one-two punch of using your spy to collect civs and stars, and then blowing the rest of the map up with the unit of your choosing (molotovs ftw). The game suffers from too many units, with no real reason to change your setup from mission to mission. It could be improved by combining several units into one (e.g., spy and bombs) and limiting your options on each level to force the player to strategize.

This game is so much fun! The only thing I would add would be a sniper unit. No arc to his shots, but each one is more expensive and he only has 2 HP. Thoughts? (5/5)

if any one is having trouble, just use a ninja-i mean "spy" to scout and rescue people, kill any guards you can and then come in with a heavy assult (my fav is a jeep)
my team is: spy, jeep, transport, artilery. you can get gold on all levels with just those
and on another not, holy crap my tank can jump!!!!!

two ideas toward this game: maybe instead of selling and buying new units, maybe we should be able to upgrade them, for example: rifleman+$3000=commando... and i know a lot of people want a level editor so we can make a level the way WE want, thumbs up so the dev can see this

it astounds me that the baddies don't mind a shady character walking right past their men, seeing every detail of their defensive positions, untieing all the hostages, then leading them away toward the enemy lines. Then, moments later, a man sets their entire complex on fire, a tank electrifies all their men, then the burning wasteland is leveled by helicopter rockets. this happens over and over for dozens of battles, and they never learn.

Lol I never bought a foot soldier besides the spy, so I just decided to try to do the last level with only a maxed Rifle... Thank goodness I invested in 5 medkits... lol I succeeded, but needed every single one. I was very sad when my two helicopters couldn't fit through that little gap to help get the gold medal...

*Spend fifteen minutes painstakingly infiltrating the enemy defenses and silently killing them. Make one wrong move and need to have my spy evacuated*
*Retry mission with my veteran, spend two minutes blasting the shit out of everything and lead my team to a glorious and flawless victory*
I now know why Rambo was so damn successful.
