Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the land, the dribbles were dying, to help their king stand.
By either freezing or breaking, into thin ice, or climbing and burning, without thinking twice.

Level 5 is a bad case of misleading instructions/tips, thought it was impossible, but once you realise boom command can also blast through walls, it becomes trivial.

Remember, kids, the next time you open your presents on Christmas, be sure to give thanks to all the Dibbles that froze to death in order to give you those presents.

Might just be me, but the hint on level 5 for the Boom command is a bit misleading. It states you can use Boom to move presents, but fails to mention that it can break terrain. Would have liked a tooltip on that one. Still a fun game, though.

The intended solution to level 28 saves 3 Dribbles. There's a funny solution that saves 2, leaving EIGHT tools unused. Put an extend on top of the blue-orange present. Put a second extend there. Put a ramp at the end of the extends. Put an extend to left of the green present. Put a ramp on the end of that extend. Wish a Merry Christmas to the twelve Dribbles on the bottom half of the screen. Optional: Make the first bottom Dribble a blocker.

@Ravensvoice Since you'll definitely come back because this game is going to be badged. (After over 5 years!) I'll say that you can still do better. At level 18 I found a way to save 7 dibbles. It involves blowing up your own structure, exploiting the "ramp" command to the fullest, and using "dive" in an inefficient way. (It, however, is the key to this solution.)

@Scherazade: For Lv. 5, blow through the wall at the first pillar, then climb up the second pillar, the present off the cliff so your Dibbles can drop down onto the ground without dying from falling too far, and then use a ramp to jump across the lake.

The dibbles are somehow able to jump up through ice. Using this glitch I was able to beat the last level in a way that's not supposed to be possible.

It is inevitable that, along the journey there will be obstacles, some of them insurmountable by worldly means. But we are the Dibbles, beings without fear! Any danger. Any natural terrain. Anything pertaining to the obstruction of our king's passing shall be eliminated with the force of your life. There is no cliff too high for the king to climb, for your bones will be his ice-axes; There is no river too wide for the king to cross, for your heads will be his stepping stones. There is no wall too thick for the king to pass, for a path will be torn open with every gram of your flesh. By any means, No matter what the costs are. The king. Must. Pass. Now go, and godspeed.

I saved 6 on level 24. I love it when the way in the walkthrough isn't the only (or even the best) way to finish the level.

Oh dreadful night, the Dibbles are all dying, because the King desires a safe path. Oh painful night, the Dibbles are all crying, before they turn to ice to pave the way. Loyal Dibbles, they all obey their orders. The poor Dibbles, they blindly fall to doom. Who'll dig their graves? Who will remember their names? Not the King, who walks calmly through their cold remains. Oh King, I'll help kill them to find out where you go.

Krachet Dibble: "Sir i was wondering if I could have today off?
Scrooge/King: "DAY OFF???"
Kratchet Dibble: "But sir its CHristmas!"
Scrooge/King:"I don't care you've died for me before and you'll die for me again!"

why can't I lay out all my commands before I start sending Dibbles? it doesn't add any actual difficulty, it just makes planning more annoying. I love the games, it's just that one part that's frustrating. I want to be able to lay things out as I think through my strategy.

@Slimoo: For Lv. 7, the best thing is to use boom right before the holly, then burn to drop into the lake, and then use 3 floats. You'll lose only 6 Dibbles which will save 5 than way instead of losing 7 which will only save 4.

Gotta love how they have no objections to grabbing the remains of their shattered comrades and using them as ice axes.

"Oh look, a present. Well, I could just take it with me-actually, SCREW THAT, IM BURYING THAT ALONGSIDE MYSELF IN THE SNOW"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Do Not use BOOM on 7: "IT'S A TRAP!" Do not use it to move the present; use burn 2x in the 2nd spot to fall from the 2nd spot.

(continuing on deathagorn's song)
The dibbles were freezing as dead as can be, while visions of angles were the last thing they were to see. And king in his crown and the dibbles ready to die, and before their commands they wave goodbye.
