challenge 4 isn't so bad once you figure out a good strategy for it. If you tell the shield to follow the sword you can move the sword around the arena in a circle keeping the shield slightly closer to the dragon at any given time. Then, whenever the dragon gets near he will shoot the shield and the sword will shoot him.

Challenge 4 should be an impossible badge in itself not to mention you still need 6 other challenges to get the badge!

The shield is blocking the fire of my sword. But if it is not, then the dragon is shooting my sword, even if the sword is further from it then shield. So rage for a while, then rate 1/5.

There's only 2 problems I have with this game: 1) Lack of hotkeys causing difficulty to control the bots, and 2) The AI can't seem to detect that a dead bot is in front of them -- they have this in REAL LIFE, why isn't it in-game!?

When the Dragon is shooting the Sword THROUGH the Shield, there is not really much, that can stop my hate directed at game author.

Poor controls, bad AI, and a difficult build system (couldn't figure out why I couldn't equip a gun until I realized I had to equip plating first). It would be better if each piece could be equipped or unequipped, rather than having to go in order.
And I would love it if my jackhammer bots wouldn't run away from their targets.

I actually laughed out loud because of poor controls. This game might be the most horrible game I've ever played online! Besides the show-stealing controls, is there even a menu to restart?

Yea the challenge mode isn't challenging since it's not based off skill but completely off luck. It's more just the controls that mess the game up but seeing how it was made 3 years ago . . .

Oh god, this game reeks of my childhood. I remember when I first started playing flash games, and the Bot Arena series was one of the funnest things out there. To everyone talking about the controls, when this came out in '07-ish it was the king.

The only reason why i dislike this game is the weight limit being a tad bit too low (should be 5 higher on each of them) and the bots being stupid.

If I am to tell how I beat Challenge 4: let Shield follow Dragon. Then when they are moving identically, make Sword move in parallel with them. Shield will be able to tank from one side to another side of the field. Try not to get your Sword into 1-on-1 fight with the Dragon. Rinse and repeat. I know it is not as simple as it sounds (took me a lot of rounds), so good luck, friends.

WOW. you guys must suck at this game. ITS SO EASY. JUST censordING TELL YOUR ROBOT TO FOLLOW ONE ANOTHER. ITS EASY. YOU GUYS ARE SO censoredING ANNOYING. HOW DO YOU SUCK THIS BAD AT AN EASY GAME? I BEAT IT. its easy. just get medics to follow your main shooters on your team. tell your sword to follow your sheild. censordING TELL YOUR ROBOTS TO MOVE! its easy. But please. DONT WHINE ABOUT IT.

Despite what others have said, I actually enjoyed this, until the time came when I had too much tech on my 2 bots that I was unable to join any battles

I finished the game...badge didn't register. Take a screenshot and flash crashes. Reload the game and OMFG THE GAME DOESN'T AUTOSAVE!?!?!?! There went one of the 2 stars I gave it. I love the concept, but if this is Bot Arena _3_ (yes, the THIRD attempt), I anxiously await Bot Arena 15.

Lol after complaining about Challenge 4 for 6 years. Today I finished it. And i honestly do not know what I did different. It was 99% luck
