I like the game, although it is a little too hard for me, which is fine. I figured out how the worm level should work (fake jump) but I can't coordinate it right. So it's my fault and not the one of the game. :)

This game needs to learn the difference between hard and frustrating. Hard is when something requires good timing and a grasp of what's going on. Frustrating is (example from in-game) jumping off of a trampoline trying to make a gap in a wall that is only slightly bigger than yourself lined with spikes that kill you when you touch even the non-pointy bits of them. could be 4/5 or 5/5 if quick restart and toning down some of the ridiculous parts were put in.

To pass the worm level, you have to fake it out; jump over the pit, then go back onto the land. With precise timing, you can get back over before it returns :)

Gets very hard. Need to move with perfect precision to make it through. I got to level 26, and it started getting annoying. 4/5.

@resterman: if you press R to return to the level select and then press the level you were on (different color text) you can start the level again in less than 2 seconds :) For those of you who find the levels very difficult, I understand and I actually created the game with the idea that I want it to be very difficult and that very few people would be able to make it all the way through without persistence. Thanks for the comments!

The game is nothing special... There is a 'story' which goes with a platform game... As I said before, nothing special. It's entertaining and challenging so, I'll give to it 4/5. You should create a 'restart level' button. Something like the space bar because waiting 2 seconds (I know, maybe you read this and say "2 seconds?") makes the game an annoying one. And pressing the space bar to restart could speed up it.

@Dommelsch: I spent a whole day playing through all the levels at one point to make sure all of the levels progressed reasonably, I'm glad it's paid off :) @Irasfel: I'm glad you liked the style, and I'm sorry it's not quite your style of game. I have heard that it's a bit sensitive, but the gameplay is quite tentative with timing that the effort to slow it would be a bit much. Thanks for the comments!

Having trouble with level 20 myself ;)
Nice, clean concept. Always like these 'old-style' pixel platformers. Difficulty rises nicely as you go. Good job Timeblog.

Well done! Not quite my personal thing, as I'm not the best platformer ever by any means. But I can still appreciate this a lot. Very clean style, readily understandable what's going on quickly, and some really fiendish "gotchas" to deal with. My one complaint here is that the controls almost feel TOO sensitive to me. But that is I repeat extremely minor, and quite possibly just a matter of taste. Good game!

I enjoyed this game a lot. The gameplay is smooth and the presentation is admirable. My favourite thing about the game is its variety in regards to enemies and the clever (and challenging) level design that keeps the game going and stops it from going dry. The graphics are pretty well pixelled too. I suggest anyone who likes adventure platform games to give this a go!
