It's impossible to kill the shadow villan without leveling up a bit first, but you have to be fast. Remember, just because you lose your levels if it kills you doesn't mean that you lose the skills you collected.

Vote To Keep Alive plz: defeat the boss is very simple, the first part (before the lazers) is simple and you must only avoid his attacks, But when he/she starts to use lazers you must stay on a platform on one of the sides, jump to avoid his slash and fall on him and be stunned. he will try to hit you but he can't if you are stunned and the rocks will fall on him giving you the black gems :)

bartie22, defeating the black shadow is optional and being beaten won't lower your chances of winning. And it's pretty likely that you'll be beaten the first time. If he beats you, your stats go back to 1, but you will be able to gain them much faster the next day.

if i going to sleep there is a black shadow with a sword what do i need to do there i always die there and the next morning my stats are back to 1

I found a way to crash the game!... Right after the guy crashes down on your fence at the start open up codex and press load! You wont be able to move! Thumbs up so all can see!

my only complaint is there is no "stopping" skill to level up...running and jumping to land on a small platform was almost impossible since you slide quite a ways

This was a great game.
It took me an entire day to finally beat it,(12 game days to get 100%), but I enjoyed every moment of it.
Can't wait for the next one!
