Under rating threshold (show) So I'm getting these "I wanted suite room" negative comments. And I'm building floors 20-25 of my hotel with suite rooms, new facilities, and fill single gaps with normal rooms. Then I get "I wanted presidential suite" so I build these too and my hotel grows to 30 level. But then again people want average suites, so I build them not to lose my reputation, but a new need for presidential suites arrives and I build moar. Now I'm on level 55, with very wide hotel (200 000 to expand) and I must go to sleep but I can't as presidents again need suits and they say I could build more elevators too!

Under rating threshold (show) for those of you that have elevator problems, read this! build an elevator maybe 2-7 floors long. for example, elevator A goes from floor 1 to floor 5. B goes from 5 to 10. C from 10 to 15, and so on. doing this will greatly decrease the queue. my hotel is 13 standard rooms wide and 30 floors now and each elevator only works for every 3 floors. no one complains! and i have a staff elevator that goes all the way from floor 1 to 30. i have 3 receptionist, 4 waiters, 20 maids, and 5 engineers, still no problem. :) my reputation is about 800 now. still keep going! :D hope this helped. rate + so people can see!

Under rating threshold (show) $100k. Each expansion becomes more necessary and less reasonable. 6) Fix the elevator situation. As it stands, most hotels are 70%+ elevator, less than 10% hotel rooms, and the rest is the other rooms. I know this is a game, but I cannot suspend my disbelief that much.

Under rating threshold (show) (I suggest 3, or 1 quarter of a year, to give your game more business flare) before they need to implement the newest rooms after improving their star rating. This gives players the chance to react and actually use the rooms (or plan out which room to use first. I have found that I do not have enough funds to build 1 of each new room upon gaining a star.). 4) Either give the Receptionists/Waiters an additional function/boost or remove the need for them with Cafes/Receptions. Currently, they serve no purpose other than increase the cost of those rooms (yes, I know they make them operational, but the other rooms do not need special workers in order to make them operational). If you keep them, make them improve the service. Like decrease the wait time of those rooms by 5 - 10%. 5) Decrease the cost for expansion after the first expansion. First expansion is 2 spaces for $5k, followed by the second expansion of 2 spaces for $50k, followed by the third expansion of 2 spaces for TBC->

Under rating threshold (show) Fixes/Additions Needed: 1) Upgrade system. I am not talking about an upgrade tree or anything fancy. The main complaint seems to be efficiency/speed of the rooms/elevators. Maybe have 3 upgrades that improves the speed of rooms/elevators. Have it cost 10-30% of the amount of money current invested in room/elevator. 2) Improve AI. Currently, Maids and Engineers run all over the place, all merging in 1 spot that only needs 1 of them to do. They will repeatedly ignore the filthy dump of a room right next to them in order to clean up the slightly dusty room 12 rooms over and 16 floors up. More than just improving the AI, allow users to assign Engineers/Maids to rooms or floors. That will greatly improve things. Rather than 70 maids scrambling all over a 10 X 50 square, players can have 50 (probably fewer) maids assigned to 1 (probably more) floor each. This would also help solve the complaints of phantom money loss (I suspect this is a main culprit). 3) Give players at least 1 month TBC->

Under rating threshold (show) Do You want to know a secret for elevators? make each shaft connect only 2 floors. That means a lot of shafts and huge costs, and may be bad for beginning when hotel is short. But when it's tall, instead of building second shaft, borrow money, destroy one shaft and create a lot of small shafts. This way no one will complain for queues to shafts, as there is none - although one need to go through elevator hell to get to his room or escape out of hotel.

Under rating threshold (show) tips for making this game better:1. make the elevators move faster 2.make the laundry machiens break less(they usually break after about 4 uses) 3.make the second expansion not so costly(it makes it hard to get to a 2 star hotel)

Under rating threshold (show) the solution to the elevator problem is to build many of steplike elevatorshafts overlapping 1 level with a max high of 8-10 stories, and NOT building elevators from bottom to top. People get pissed off of waiting, not of walking around and changing elevators. Have fun!

Under rating threshold (show) A good update would be a "Management" button, which you can manage upgrades for staffs, elevators, room quality, wallpapers, service quality, etc. In this "Management" screen, you can also customize where staffs belong (Floors or Rooms). In the "Loan" menu, you should add a "Pay Loan" so you can pay a specific amount of the loan that you owe, and also add an "Automatic Loan Pay" (On/Off buttons) so you can pay it manually, or automatically. Also add a 5 month payback, or they'll just wipe out the money you have to pay the loan, if you do not have enough to pay the whole thing, then they'll take out rooms/services untill it's all payed back. + If you agree.

Under rating threshold (show) It seems the elevator trip people up. They have lots and still people are waiting. Its not much good having 5 elevators going from the bottom to the 30th floor. Takes a long time to do a complete trip. Make each shaft short and start a new sharft. Each trip is fast then.

Under rating threshold (show) possible tip: try breaking up your elevators. don't make every one go all the way up to the top of your 30-floor building. I have all of my services, entertainment, health rooms pretty close to the bottom of the hotel, so many people just wanna move around the top ten floors, which means that the 30-floor capacious elevator that i built is gonna waste time going to get 1 or 2 people at the top of the building and the people at the bottom have to wait longer. its kind of hard to explain, but if the maker of the game saw this than maybe he could put it in the game as a tip or something. plz +

Under rating threshold (show) Balaugh, Having only 6 floors will kinda be impossible to satisfy the people when ur at 3-4stars, they want bowling and disco and stuff and that takes as much place as 4 or 6 standard rooms, and then they want two of each too.. costs to much to expand later on so u will have to get higher floors, i finished the game on floor45 :) i had shitload of elevators, u can put them next to eachother too btw

Under rating threshold (show) Although saying keep it minmum per shaft of elevators, it still takes a majority of the hotel. Aswell, staff elevators are not as useful as they would seem. It is more appropriate to just build a second main elevator.

Under rating threshold (show) The comments annoyed me. Its like they know. I can build a bowling alley and so now they desperately need it? They say things like, great hotel...but it needs bowling (thumb down). I have never seen a hotel with bowling in it. Just because I can build it doesnt mean you have to have it jerks. This isnt an amusement park. Its a goshderned hotel. P.S whoever keeps breaking that washingmachine is going to pay dearly, mark my words.

Under rating threshold (show) Ways to keep guests from wanting more elevators: 1. Build them in small groups. For example, I build 5 elevators per shaft and then make a new shaft of 5 far away from the top elevator in that other shaft. continue until you reach the top. Having them in small groups limits the amount of floors the elevators have to account for and having them far away makes the guests walk more and gives each elevator more time to get the guests to there destinations without guests accumulating 2. Limit the services/food/health/entertainment to 1 per floor. If you have a whole bunch in a just a few floors then the guests will flock to those floors and the elevators there will become overloaded.
