After playing for a (long) while, the music stopped while in a city and I was like "meh", when the infection was over, the game just stopped and I lost all my progress, great.

If you are trying for mad scientist, the tank and/or tsyalonoyarsk are your friends. The tank doesnt infect and tselyanoyarsk can survive a single infestation as long as you max out damage resist last

In a later version (if there is one) I would like to see a Duke Nukem zombie. Granted forever sucked, he would still be a badass zombie.

Infectonator: World Dominator is a simple game with some nice elements.
The pixel art is simple yet appealing and the sound is also pretty decent. The constant screams of people dying in later levels can get annoying but the constant collection of coins has a nice jingle to it, and the sound is extremely satisfying if I might add. The game-play is mostly just money collecting by hovering over it, some upgrading, as well as tossing down special zombies every so often. The game has some nice small elements such as a news section with jokes and facts, as well as different cities having local-area names and some nations having different speech. All-in-all the game was fairly decent and had a good length at 2-3 hours for full completion. I give it a 4/5.
