its kind of a fun game, but in comparison to necronator 1, this sucks ass. it just doesnt have any single element of necronator that made it so fun

As has been said, this isn't really necronator 2 so much as its own game. That did disappoint me, as the original necronator is by far one of my favorite games.
This is its own game, and for the most part is very good, but I find it to have one fatal flaw. The unit control/AI is not very well done, I think it may be applying the original necronator/infectionator controls to this game, but so much has changed that I feel this would have to change with it. Too often do I feel like my units are moving along a preplanned path, and if I give orders to them manually, I feel either they go on a suicidal run to whatever I selected, paying no attention to the units who are attacking them, or they will engage the enemy units and then entirely forget about the orders I gave them. As such I feel that this game has the player needing strategy, but not giving them the opportunity to use it, rather I am having to gather an army and simply overpower the enemy along the preplanned path.

Scout: Guys our castle is under attack and we are being rapidly shot at by the enemys archers we have to defend ourself. Squad: sure we just have to take over this house first....

I would have liked this game a lot more if the AI and controls weren't so bad. Makes it near impossible to play because of that.

Seriously, why can't you update this game? It's been around 3 years and we still got no Mahajapit. Besides, the bugs are still present.

Glitchy piece of shit. My melee units just frozen and started jiggling nonstop while being shot at from a meter away...

The unit controls are terrible, it was better when you had to use the x key to command a unit to attack. Instead, now you have to click on a unit, and try not to click on the unit you want to attack or else your just then looking at the enemy unit and not attacking. The pop-up button is useless also, why put that in when all you can do is just click some where on the map and your units move there? Highly frustrating after the first stage. Great game otherwise, but the control are terrible. Please fix them.

@kajo "-" just zooms the map out. Now it's harder to see my army marching off to their inevitable demise, despite my orders for the archers to stay to the rear, not to attack buildings when they're being riddled with arrows, etc.

1) Easier commands for units. (remove the menu, just make them move if ground is clicked, and have control click be attack or something).
2) Have an English speaker fix your text. (Grammar and spelling make a game polished)
3) Quick keys. (Push a certain button for stop, fast forward... etc.)
4) Love your games! Tons of fun.

This game needs some serious polishing, the manual movement is aggravating at best, the fact you have to manually collect gold is just silly and there is no brain behind the auto move at all is almost completely random. other than serious lack of polishing the base of this game is amazing!

This is a good game, it only suffers from Unit selection and Control. Very frustrating at times, especially with the [Move/AtkMove/Cancel] Popup (please remove that). Clean this up and its 5/5 game. tip: takes notes from Kingdom Rush ;) They did a great job with unit selection and control

There are some serious waypointing issues here. I keep telling my men to proceed along one path in a multipath map, and they either a) ignore me entirely, b) try to follow out my orders, but get distracted by a shiny, c) follow my orders, but in a stupid way, such as walking back and forth over the same patch of ground until the enemy cuts them in half, or d) find the nearest murderpit full of enemy towers and throw themselves bodily into it. I like your game, but this is making it borderline unplayable.

I WANT to love this so very badly, it seems like a happy marriage of Necronator and Kingdom Rush, and those are both awesome. However, it still needs a bit of tweaking in the pathing and controls. Sometimes my units just sort of stand there and twitch. It's extremely frustrating watching them get slaughtered because they're hung up on a corner, or are running into each other. Also, your flavor text needs a good beta, I think, some of the English in the cut scenes is kind of... odd. Other than those issues, though, this game is pretty good. I'm not in love, yet, but it's playable mostly and has a good idea driving it.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I got to the fourth area and my units, disobeying my orders the second I issued them, started going round and round in circles recapturing every house. Then I found Auto-Move. With that off it's hard to control everyone, but they do what you tell them to.

If the humans were wise, they would put a patch of green grass around their base with a don't step on grass sign, and then they would be good...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really like it when I tell them to go to a specific area, then they walk into the grass "wall" for a second, then just ignore my command and start walking elsewhere, I click again, they walk into the wall, then start going to wherever they feel like going again...even with "Auto move" disabled.
2/5

Please do something about our troops AI. Selection is kinda iffy at best, and then they love to just plain run past towers that are decimating thier numbers. Fix that and I could give a 5/5.

I love the new graphics, the music is nice, the upgrade system is great, and this game is HUGE (awesome). Sadly, Necronator 2 lost the feeling of being a world dominator. Instead of plowing through the levels and killing every living thing, you have to use so much strategy that the game is less fun. In simpler words, we did not really so much strategic depth for this game. I still love the quality though! :D

This game has crashed twice. Memory leak maybe? Also the units are sometime impossible to control/buy. And it's weird that the Orks I was fighting could walk over water.

Developers, please, if you want to create an engaging story, get a native English speaker to proof read it for you. Your English is confusing and in some parts makes no sense at all.

When playing a game some aspects are dealbreakers. Talking about strategy games I'd say that those aspects are quick, precise and responsive control and if not good, at least not problematic AI for all the aspects that troops deal automatically, such as pathfinding, targeting and move/attack routines.
Sadly, those are the aspects in which this games fails. The controls are sluggish and unresponsive, while controlling your units is almost impossible since they have so many problems finding the way to the point you click, executing your orders without engaging in unasked routines and getting slaughtered pointlessly regardless of your will.
The sad thing is that under every other aspect the game is fine.
The graphics are good enough. The music is a little sloppy, but passable, and the mix of objectives and upgrades COULD keep it interesting.
All in all though, if you don't have CONTROL over a game where strategy should be involved, it kinda misses the point in it's entirety
2/5

Well, I like the game, but it is still little bit buggy... :S The last mission in the second land is not loading. I played with the elves and got stuck there. This should be fixed. There are also other freeze comments.

I don't think the unit control is bad at all. Reminds me of a game I played a lot 6 years ago called "Lego Battle" only this is much better.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This has a markedly substandard battle interface.
Waiting for the story line to work through itself is painful: very bad writing and no way to skip it. When you make your game look bad from the opening page, it really harms the overall impression.

there is a bug in this game that takes me a while to get through and the game is awesome and i always play it but it is boring when you use all the characters i think there should be more characters.

This game is great the story is good but the unit movement is my only problem i don't know if this is just me or not but my units (as well as the enemy's units) will get to a certain point and just stop themselves and i cant do anything about it
