Units disobey commands, walk past enemies they are told to attack in order to besiege towers, ignore archer fire... Walk the wrong way around obstacles, split up when no order was given so my archers are unescorted... Could have been good, but the strategy element is so cumbersome it makes the game too frustrating.

I have to say, it's an ok game, but as N7791 said it's only a sequel in name only a tiny little sliver of the first games style remains and I have to say you really let me down. I mean, its like, WHAT THE HELL MAN?, YOU MAKE Necronator 1, Infectonator 1, and Infectonator 2 in the same style we all know and love and then you make THIS? WTF 2/5 man seriously stick with what works

This game is more a challenge in patience than in skill. How long will I keep playing when my troops ignore my commands? The answer is not very long.

Ech. I was actually really surprised to hear that this game was released on AG a while ago--how is it still this buggy? This is a beautiful game that's been beaten with a pipe wrench--the controls are absolutely horrible. Counter-intuitive doesn't even begin to describe it; if I select a large group all together and tell them to go up, half will go down anyways. If I turn off auto-move, the units don't even respond to getting shot by someone just out of range, and are more or less completely useless unless you're "attack-moving" constantly--which is what auto-move is. Units frequently seem to ignore the rally point, and I'm still unclear as to how exactly it issues orders; half the time your people ignore it altogether. Sometimes only half those people move to it, leaving the other half to die. The fact that you can't pause/slow the game and say "No, dumbass, I said down, not up" is just insult to injury. My point is, maybe this game needed less campaigns and more AI.

the new pathfinding system worse than the old version,
1. army fail to attack the target directly: they need to move around and seems need to find a "point" that they feel comfortable to start attack
2. army ignore the enemy in front of them and go a long way to hit a building far behind
3. army cannot turn the corner smoothly, they can only walk in the middle of the path
4. player cannot disable auto function
I just wonder whether the developer has test the game before releasing!

That game controls and AI..so horrible..with normal ones it would be a great game.. I could advise that troops should react to commands much faster and move and agressive move should be on hotkeys, not menu from left click.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe add button on how troops act in auto would be nice, something like attack priority: building or enemy(weakest or ranged)

Ah to be a necromancer :) this is the first time ive seen santa burn the houses and give gifts to undead. quite entertaining

hey syphron, youre wrong. The dragonborn and majaphit races are NOT in wow. And might I add that all of these are standard rpg/fantasy game races.

umm... how do you save your game... don't want to have to start again... 20 shield loot prize not counting properly, currently at 14 but only reads 3, nor are the other achievements working with that same matter, has all the makings for a good game but too buggy

Seriously, only two elements here remind me of Necronator: The randomized unit movement and the coin grabbing via mouse hover. Both of them do not work at all with a TD strategy type game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
sometimes i find the units are retarded or just like to follow orders and pick the stupidest way to were you send them

At least have an option to ignore buildings. It's impossible to win those time trials when all my soldiers have to attack either every single building or don't attack anything and get killed.

I have a raging undead army... with Santa Claus ho-ho-hoing at people as he bashes them over the head with his stick. Something has gone veeeeery wrong here.

Looks nice. Plays acceptably, though as others have mentioned, unit control needs some work to feel natural and not in the way. But there's something that's fairly easy to fix that I hope you do fix: spelling and grammar. There are silly mistakes that make me think of them instead of the game, which is an unnecessary flaw to a good game.

Went through almost whole the game only using mounted archers, no spells and on hard difficulty. Suddenly I start losing, but now I was already bored and only reason I continued this far was to see if I could beat the game with one move tactic. I finished the last 4-5 levels on easy with same "tactic". Horrible controls and difficulty curve, which is tightly connected to the bad balance in the game. Mostly everything but the gameplay was great, even if "premium content" is a big turn-off for me.

While at the first impression the game seems nice and fun, after a while it just gets extremely repetetive and hard. While the hard factor is not that bad if it wasn't caused by the defective AI of your own troops and their urge to take the path I don't need them to go. --'
It would also be nice to have more different troops among the different races and not all the same but with other armor and slightly different stats. And make it so that each type has a weakness so that in the end you're not just spamming cavalry because they have the best cost/strength ratio.

Unit management is terrible. The difficulty also needs reviewing. I had no problem on medium up to the level with the Tauren Cheiftan. It's insanely hard. If it is possible, it requires a very specific skill build and that just ruins the depth of the game.
It looks promising though. 3/5.

its kind of a fun game, but in comparison to necronator 1, this sucks ass. it just doesnt have any single element of necronator that made it so fun

As has been said, this isn't really necronator 2 so much as its own game. That did disappoint me, as the original necronator is by far one of my favorite games.
This is its own game, and for the most part is very good, but I find it to have one fatal flaw. The unit control/AI is not very well done, I think it may be applying the original necronator/infectionator controls to this game, but so much has changed that I feel this would have to change with it. Too often do I feel like my units are moving along a preplanned path, and if I give orders to them manually, I feel either they go on a suicidal run to whatever I selected, paying no attention to the units who are attacking them, or they will engage the enemy units and then entirely forget about the orders I gave them. As such I feel that this game has the player needing strategy, but not giving them the opportunity to use it, rather I am having to gather an army and simply overpower the enemy along the preplanned path.

Scout: Guys our castle is under attack and we are being rapidly shot at by the enemys archers we have to defend ourself. Squad: sure we just have to take over this house first....

I would have liked this game a lot more if the AI and controls weren't so bad. Makes it near impossible to play because of that.

Seriously, why can't you update this game? It's been around 3 years and we still got no Mahajapit. Besides, the bugs are still present.

Glitchy piece of shit. My melee units just frozen and started jiggling nonstop while being shot at from a meter away...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The unit controls are terrible, it was better when you had to use the x key to command a unit to attack. Instead, now you have to click on a unit, and try not to click on the unit you want to attack or else your just then looking at the enemy unit and not attacking. The pop-up button is useless also, why put that in when all you can do is just click some where on the map and your units move there? Highly frustrating after the first stage. Great game otherwise, but the control are terrible. Please fix them.

@kajo "-" just zooms the map out. Now it's harder to see my army marching off to their inevitable demise, despite my orders for the archers to stay to the rear, not to attack buildings when they're being riddled with arrows, etc.

1) Easier commands for units. (remove the menu, just make them move if ground is clicked, and have control click be attack or something).
2) Have an English speaker fix your text. (Grammar and spelling make a game polished)
3) Quick keys. (Push a certain button for stop, fast forward... etc.)
4) Love your games! Tons of fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game needs some serious polishing, the manual movement is aggravating at best, the fact you have to manually collect gold is just silly and there is no brain behind the auto move at all is almost completely random. other than serious lack of polishing the base of this game is amazing!
