A rather simple game, but not a bad one. I would agree with other people, place all upgrades on one screen, and possibly implement keyboard controls as well. Downside is, is basically grinding, no story/ bosses or anything to really make it stand out.

This game looks like first try to make game, but it is good try. I give it 4/5.
Although, you could fix upgrade screen: put all icons on screen(no scroll) and then show text about upgrade when its icon selected.

Seems unfinished - it looks like it would work fine with keyboard controls, but lacks them. No clear indication of whether you've failed doesn't help, it's annoying at best when enemies fly past (or into me) and the mission doesn't immediately end with 'failed' which would save a lot of wasted time. The descriptions are also lacking and the quiet addition of new enemies is the only indication I'm not replaying the exact same level again. A story of at least a sentence or two of text while loading the mission would help to add a sense of story, because the action and graphics are lackluster.

It is rare that I put such a low rating, the graphics are not bad, but the game is monotone early and stay up late. In fact all too well calculated without leaving room for improvisation. In order to pass a level, you must have the firepower calculated for the level or to the middle one is necessarily exceeded. Shame but a little more impeovisation be interesting, we do not play like machines.

This game could use some major work. Don't get me wrong the concept is great but here are a few things to note:
A. You can smash your ship into ANYTHING and it's completely fine, you just lose that round.
B. Losing the round doesn't end it, you continue to mill through kill xp until the "end" of the level.
C. While the ship changes through upgrades, you have little else to make the game dynamic and interesting.

after about the 10th time on the last mission when the last ship gets through for no apparent reason, i don't care enough to try again. 1/5

"Hurray! All enemies dead, and the impacts I took didn't even damage my ship!" "Doesn't matter, pilot- it's the principle of it. Now get back out there and do it again... this time *shoot* them all."

This game asks the question of "Are the machines helping me or am I helping the machines?" with the Fire Chain taking away >75% of the enemy planes' health and the turrets hitting every shot, there's little point for me to be there. Sure, some levels will be lost without me being there, but I am only doing 10% while the machines are taking cared of 90%. If half of the money I spent on the machine guns is spend on getting another Fire Chain, the base will be completely automated and, although it's a bit saddening to say, better off without me.

Interesting. It's almost a defence/shooter hybrid. Straightforward, simple, fun, nice to look at, and well-balanced (not much grinding required). 4/5

Seems to me like the "Rapid Shooter Badge" is bugged. Finished the last mission at 57 Launches, didn't get the badge (it say's "Win all missions in 60 launches"). The Badge was already blocked earlier, when i had around 50 launches... either the badge is bugged or the condition text...

i like it.. a lot. Would be nice if there was a boss mode, or bosses, and perhaps a map design for level selection.
Everything else is perfect. 5/5

Okay, I've noticed a minor bug. The Power Suppression Badge doesn't actually get awarded until after completing Mission 11 without doing any Power Weapon Upgrades, even though once you complete Mission 10 it reads 10/10. Also, allowing the Reward Upgrade to be upgraded when going after the Power Suppression Badge would allow for a LOT fewer launches being used in the process (especially if you're trying to achieve all of the badges on a single char on a single play-through, which I haven't completed yet, I'm only done through Mission 11 right now).

ok guys i got this one - next one i got it - maybe next one? next one? hmm ... i should save money on ship gas and ammo and just let the turrets and wall of fire destroy everything ...

Luck increases the chance to get higher rewards from killing enemys. for example, at Level 0 luck you might get 10-16xp per enemyA, but at Level1 you would get 13-20.

an interesting twist of a tower defense game, it looks unfinished like others said. since you have an avatar, get some buffs for him, to better control (yes, crowd control sounds nice!) the game flow. get activated temporary buffs: to ur attack, to slow enemy, to deal a decent amount of damage to all enemies on screen and others like that.
and enemy plan should be changed, instead of sending ships in a constant flow, send them in a more inconstant manner.
i hope this ideas i gave are good and you may use them in this or in a future game.

OjisanKG, luck increase drop from a mob, if one mob would normaly give 100 exp, you have a chance to get 125 exp, the higher luck you have, the better the chance to get that extra exp.

incredible potential of the game good, graphics good ideas, i like that you are not alone (normally you upgrade just your ship again and again) it has a great potential iwould like to see a sequel or a big update. I think this problems could make the game one of the best of this type in all kongregate.
First: No story and when you finish the last level... nothing.
Second: everything moves... even the turrets. If you want include towers the background can't be moving all the time.
Third: enemies just collapse, if they don't shoot of course don't need health bar or bosses, but they make a game funnier and more difficult
Fourth: there isn't any strategy and your skills almost dosn't mind, everything is about upgrades and the order you unlock them
Fifth: seriously the story is the most important along with gameplay
Check Enigmata (a trilogy) , it could give you good ideas ^^

@ raging, what upgrade game ISNT just about grinding? You fail a level, you get more xp, you upgrade, you beat the level, repeat until you can get to the end...

It would be nice if I could stop failing missions when no enemies survived. Seems like maybe when they hit my ship and blow up, it's not counting them as dead.

I agree with InTaco this game seems very unfinished. There's no health bar so the only downside to smashing into ur enemies is u dont complete the mission. They dont shoot at you, and theres no goal to the game other than get to mission 25 but it is all the same. just smah into enemies until u can upgrade enough to kill them. very voring and pointless

It's like this games on pause except for you and your turrets still get to move around, seems kindu in testing or something. This hole games about grinding, nothing more...1/5
