So... the game won't launch. Great. And it's been like that for quite some time, too. Oh, Kongregate, giving BotD to broken games... nothing new.

Im ok with this game however it's just a long play until Alexander's defeat and I personally don't feel like I'll enjoy the game after watching someone do a playthrough of it on youtube. I was planning on going to the end and killing Alexander but seeing how it went for the other guy I just won't sink my time in it. If there was an overall upgrade system to improve the army and resources outside of each fight then it might of been worth it grinding on defeated foes to make it slightly more eaiser but alas I don't see myself getting it even if its BotD and for Kongpanions.

I use the latest firefox version and the game works just fine. Aside from that, I think it's quite a cute little strategy game, the opponents always do seem overpowered at the start, but when you manage to survive until having everything upgraded, they're all easily beatable.

1/5 boring and slow. there should be a speed up button somewhere. although even if this game had a speed up button, the gameplay would make me stop playing this. whatever game type this is, i dont like it. feels like an idle farming game where you just press buttons. 1/5 just make an entirely new game, then we can talk.

Game does not progress beyond training ground. I've depleted the enemy castle of all it's hit points, yet the game is locked up ... nothing happening ... doesn't recognize mouse clicks ... nothing ... zip ... zero ... no chance to get this daily badge

To start the game you must go to cookies and allow "gameXXXXX.konggames.com" Once allowed, restart the game and START button will work fine. It is recommended to do it in every game since the usual issue is to lose progress or anything else.

3 hours of Christmas holiday wasted beating this atrocious game, followed by such terrible lag that it crashed my browser AS I WAS BEATING THE FINAL BOSS. Browser refresh yields no saved progress. This will cost me the shiny Kongpanion for the first time in over a year. Thanks Kongregate.

You cannot play many flash games on firefox anymore. On many games, either the start button does not work or the game does not load or the game does not save... I recommend playing on IE or Chrome.

On the last three levels, it is key that you spam cheap archers very early. This way, you don't die and you generate more food than you lose.

Are you for real? The Alexander fight seriously lasted me less than 3 minutes...Just use Shark Waterfalls and spam war elephants and golems and it'll be done in bare moments.

wait a minute. this may be a good game, but there's not a time i've played this game hasn't given me grief. and lag. and despite the fact i'm on Neo Joker, it ain't gettin' done any time soon, if ever. Medium should never be botd and Kong knows better. wtf you doing, Greg? this ain't funny. why the hell is it a medium badge anyway? it actually toes the line for hard badge. that's just damned rude.

what the...?! 45 mins to beat the final boss (yeah, yeah: i'm bad at teh gaemz...) and the game does not record my progress?! and since the game hasn't recorded my progress, there's no screencap to take with which to claim the badge. fml. just for that "feature" alone, 1/5.

@knewred yes, the game completely fails to tell you that to upgrade your barracks you need to have a fully upgraded castle.

It doesn't seem to be letting me upgrade my barracks to make golems, even though I have far more than enough resources. Not to worry, though, because Warriors are extremely overpowered and I can win the whole game by just spamming them.

If you're having trouble with the golem level, use the Shark guy. Fully upgrade the farm first, the foundry and the mill afterwards, and only then begin with the castle. As soon as your enemy starts moving to attack your completely undefended castle, use your first spell. If you can manage to use it again before they get to the castle, do so and wait it out (I did, but only just), otherwise use your second spell to send them back to theirs. by the time you've have stalled them enough to finally have enough to start making your own golems. Keep them back unless they're attacking with ballistae, and when they get close to your castle, switch to attack, freeze them, and let your golems destroy them all while they're helpless, use your second spell if you're caught in the middle or if an enemy managed to get past your units and starts hitting the castle. Repeat until you have enough golems to storm their castle.

Already have the first badge, so I guess I'll just continue and get the second badge for this week's BotD. *loads game and the Load Game option is greyed out* Ok, so I guess I'll just have to start again from the beginning. *clicks on New Game many many times and nothing happens* Ok, or I could just forget this badge altogether, since I already have the other six for this week.

You can complete pretty much every map by spamming warriors (and building some golems when possible).
Food will be the main block, so focus os farm upgrades.
I used only the 1st character through everything.
Last stage is a bit tricker though, but still possible with just warriors and golems (and call of duty guys). Should win the game about the time he summons Armaggedon; if not, it may get harder after that, because of the black holes possibly eating your army suddenly.
