I use Lex in all campaign. Take few tries with Joker, but other battles only take me 1 triy. Here is my strategies: 1) Stay on defense, and max your food/iron/(wood in Alex because you have plenty of res.). 2) Build your barrack to get swordsmen, then fully upgraded them. 3) Wait till the enemy hit you. 4) Try to max your unit produced then rally more troop (500 SP). 5) Kill the attackers then push your troop to enemy side. 5') For Alex. battle: don't push your troop. After defending 2 waves of attack, max your barrack/Stable. Send continuously swordsmen, Golems, elephant, horse riders to enemy side.

Funny...I only used Lex Paladin to defeat everyone including Alexander within 3 mins? That proves the power of strategy ;)

I found the ending boss the easiest as well. 5/5. I hope in the next sequel, there will be new units and new things to be implemented.

Oh, and a side comment: Make the other characters more useful. Call of Duty is _insanely_ useful, so I never even THOUGHT about switching the main dude out for someone else.

Aaaand done. 3/5 because it shouldn't be an instant build - getting REALLY annoying dealing with enemies respawning constantly. Also, the food/lumber/iron mines... maybe give +1 more each? Early levels, I find you have _very_ little money. Later on it's fine, especially the last one, but yeah.

This balance makes me feel like a Middle Eastern muslim in a court with charges of a bombing. Against a redneck jury. Two stars.

When you see a game that spawns unlimited units for the AI regardless of supply count and resources, you know it's a bad game and the developers are just finding an easy way out instead of spending time to balance the game.
1 star

I can't beat the joker guy because of the D*%& Golems. And for some reason, I can't upgrade my barracks to get my own. So close and yet so ... yeah, I'm out.

the lack of attention paid to game balance is too glaring to rate this game really highly... every enemy starts with a fully loaded castle and upgraded units. A more evenly matched game would mean much greater strategy options but that was clearly too much effort to design.

Hire someone to write your scripts and story lines. They were so bad that I'm not even sure whether it was a satire or not.

Just used Lex Paladin to finish the game easily. Pretty much wait for opponent to cast before you cast your soldiers. Typically upgrade all resources first. For the fun of it I generally like to upgrade everything before crushing the enemy but the easiest way is to just upgrade tank units and get them out first. That means, elephants, golems, horsemen, then warriors. I found the range to be too weak and slow to be of use. Didn't see a difficulty option, but may have just missed it. Would like an option to have a 2v2 hero battle :) just thought it'd be interesting Overall 4/5 since it was so short and easy. Keep up the good work though!

to defeat Alexander its easy if you are the shark
his specials are perfect to stop the mobs of soldiers
the wave to push them back the snow storm to decrease
his armies size what more do you need
honestly I beat him under 10 mins

2/5 The third king that has the vampire abilities is way too hard to beat, the enemy should have to start with the same resources and lvled up structures as you.

This..is damn awesome. Amazing artwork, animations, sound, and most importantly gameplay. The 1 thing it SERIOUSLY need though, is the ability to level up..or something where you get stronger the further through the game you get. It would make this one of my favorite games ever. Even with that setback, it's a 5/5. I love it. You better be working on a sequel.

As Dark Blood III i pwned alexander pretty fast, spam elephants for def and zombieland ur soldiers, dont worry about armageddons etc, once u will get ur chance to zombieland when armageddon is on cd, do it. My last waves was normal horse soldiers+golems (spawning like 2 horses per 1 golem).

Cool game, but I don't think the last opponent has enough ways to wipe out several minutes of work all at once. 3/5 until he gets more spells that kill everything.

I was stuck for ages in a stand-off with Alexander until I finally twigged that ranged units are useless against him (because of course they stand right where black hole / armageddon hits *facepalm*) Switched to golems and he was dead in a minute xD Nice game.

Why can't I upgrade my barracks and stable, for the advanced units? I have the resources, but the buttons are grayed out.

Wow @ comments. I found the end boss to be among the easiest. I used the zombie guy and only upgraded knights/elephants (as well as production, castle, the 3 towers). At the start, I stayed on the defense, but as soon as I had about 20 population, I went on the offense, managing to make it through before the first black hole. Then I just used Zombieland to keep them all reviving. Finished in under 2 minutes.

Alexander took me like 25 minutes to beat, playing as the shark guy.
I had major food and wood problems, but more metal than I knew what to do with.

How the hell are we supposed to deafeat Alexander? He constantly spams Blackhole and Armageddon and he ALWAYS has a full wave on the field. You will ALWAYS be too short on iron to field any decent units so how how, exactly, are we supposed to get anywhere near him?

A great way to beat the final boss is to wait until he sends a wave of ballista and then kill all but one of the ballista and hang back while gathering resources. (I found that Rose Magma Heart worked the best because of her meteor attack too.)

I believe the Shark is the best chraracter. I used the Fire Queen up until that point, and the starter dude before that.

I think we should get gold from missions and then be able to upgrade units permanently and your castles health, and be able to buy a building for good.

We defeated an elephant! That will be so much food! Oh, wait, here is some metal. We defeated a ballista! Now we'll have some wood! Oh, here is some food. We defeated some dumb peasants with no upgrades whatsoever, we'll get weak ressources! Oh wait, here is some highly refined huge bit of mana 'cause they were secretly sorcerers. LOL
