The waiting between shots ruins the game. Unfortunately, that's the crux of the game. Additionally, having to navigate the menus (including the notices) makes it even more arduous. 2/5

PAUSING BREAKS THE GAME SO MUCH! XD
The catapult's animation keeps playing even while paused, so pausing right after firing (which is conveniently possible by simply pressing A or D!!), then waiting for the catapult's arm to get back in place before unpausing, allows you to save some precious in-game reloading time! HOWEVER!! For the ENEMIES' animations, it's even BETTER >:) ---- Pausing RESETS the enemies' animations, so anything from an enemy loading an arrow, to receiving knockback is RESET and WILL HAPPEN AGAIN (from the start) as soon as you unpause! With this, you can hit an enemy close to the door, then (assuming it survived), spamming A or D (quick and easy way to pause) WILL MAKE IT INFINITELY STUMBLE TOWARDS THEIR SPAWN POINT LIKE A STEREOTYPICAL FOOTBALL/SOCCER PLAYER THAT STUBBED ITS TOE!!! XD

I'd suggest adding more upgrades, game is quite limited and enemy bosses are way stronger than max upgrades can handle

when you complete the game, skipping the rookie training, then go back to get the achievement, then realize you never ever made a single trap.

why wouldnt the golden knights just deploy every fight before the rest of the army? minimizes casualties and brings certain victory

lol a whay to win is to only lett 1 enemy artcher live and then have a repair man repair the gate he will repair it faster then the enemy can banage it and then you can let the time run out...

I didn't realize the tank could transform until after I beat the game.
Man I could have saved it from so many battering rams if i'd known.

A simple strategy I used to win all stages from 3-3 (I should warn you that it may be considered abusing broken system): summon worker, 5 archers, elf archer and knight; don't buy anything else. Send knight to battle as soon as he is available, ignore catapult on all but boss stages. On boss stages set catapult at your gate while boss hasn't spawned and send tank to battle when you can ensure it will not die to opponent's battling ram.

Not sure what happened, but at one point, my game got stuck "sending army." No one was coming out and it just kept saying "sending." I lost because of it. =/

Good memories here. Wasted so, SO many hours on this game, primarily because I was kinda dumb at 10 years old. Also because this game is a bit hard, but...

Badge hunters: this is actually a decent game for how old it is, if you give it a chance. Odd difficulty curve: 4th boss far harder than last one. If you get stuck, just replay a level several times without buying soldiers to gain resources to upgrade. If you still can't beat 4th boss, just hire one engineer, wait until wave 1 has only one archer left, then wait out the battle. Should be a breeze.

Slow, occasionally unresponsive, and an inconsistent difficulty curve that seems to rely more on knowing what's coming rather than building intelligently for reasonable probabilities. The "tutorial" isn't really more than a manual, but at least it's clear.

clunky controls no updates and imposible-to-beat without special tactics and planning ahead bosses this game deserves 2/10
