the bonus stages are so broken. slalom gates never give enough time for gold, main;y because steering so precisely isn't in this game. hitting objects is the exaat same thing, but sometimes, even the hit detection is off. please fix this.

At least for the 3rd championship event, there is a glitch. When you approach the finish line on the minimap, your red dot jumps back a bit.

Can someone please tell me how this works, I come last and win $100, that's nice, considering I suck and I still get a prize. Then my next race I actually place, I come 13th!! And I get $102??? So sad :(

my suggestion is this: you don't always have to start off at last place... it's very lame and unreal that you are not even 19th out of 20, but always 20th of 20 (yeah, i mean last!) you could make a qualification part too if this is so hard, and make enemies stronger.

my suggestion for a upgrade system would be to split the current ones into sub-upgrades... for instance, boost could be split into "Capacity"/"Duration"/"Power" and then Engine could be split into "Horsepower(max speed)"/"Acceleration (how fast it gets to max speed)", Tires can be split into "Drift"/"Grip"/"Duration", The fuel can be split to "Duration"/"Capacity"/"filter"(the higher the level, the more pure and efficient the fuel is making the car faster) :) these are just a few of the possible ideas for upgrades. + if you agree :P

I agree with 16779846541, great game that achieves well in its purpose, but towards the end begins to lack individuality. There is not too strong of a level up/upgrade system, I personally feel this is due to the lack of choices. Not to harp on the game, it really is enjoyable and fun, but the level up system really comes down to rushing engine and boost and you win ever race except for the last where they have caught up to you, but really at that point winning isn't hard anymore, and its not necessary. A great Racing game defiantly Favorited and great fun to play, just kinda feel off for me. Thank you devs

just a thought about upgrades, theres really 2 ways you could do it. the first would be to have more upgrades, acceleration and max speed could/should be separate, then you can have boost power, boost drain, boost gain from drafting, and just passive boost gain and then have ramming power and defensive power, maybe throw in braking power if you include maps with a lot of sharp turns. or the other system, have items that give different stats, for example: multiple different engines all with different top speeds and acceleration and you can have ones with higher top speeds and lower accelerations and vice versa, and tires that wear faster but provide better handling and vice versa.

The elevated horizon on the Omnomnom Speedbowl track makes it look as if you're continually racing downhill. Go on, make an M.C. Escher racing game. I dare you.

to me the upgrade bars seem a little impersonal and blasay. i would suggest for instance speed be represented by a car spoiler and as you upgrade speed the spoiler picture upgrades with it. i feel that the little things like this really make a great upgrade game.

Running stuff over has never been so frustrating rather than fun. Those missions made me want to tear my hair out. Fortunately I got super rich running over 90% of the objects each time I retried, so I got a pretty sick car. 4/5.

I gave it 5/5 and then completed it only to realise there is no endgame. Nothing, as Firechanter said in his comment. I was expecting some kind of Super Car or some "Unlimited" race with 100 much slower than you opponents that you could just smash to the ground. Because of the disappointment I'm decreasing to 4/5. Such a shame, game was great other than that.

An option to turn off the camera wiggle would be really nice. Something about nausea just doesn't appeal. Nice game though.

I'll give it 4, it's definitely a good game considering it's online, I look forward to the next version with more graphic and upgrade system, larger variety, new cars, etc, like all other racing games, would be fun to drive a Turbo boosted Mini Cooper. :D Tires also need to wear out quicker, I think my tires are invulnerable, hardly wears out even with the lack of upgrades I've put into it. I had fun, 30 minutes of fun...

Clunky controls and a camera that is apparantly opperated by an intoxicated noodle, plus a hair-brained boost system make this game another in a long line of racing games not worth playing.

TURBONUKE the game is good but it need a better upgrade system, how about letting you buy rocket boosters for your car, new engines, new tires, stronger body, wings for aerodynami proporties and similar stuff like that.

It needs a handling upgrade option. Not one that is necessarily game breaking, but it does need a solid improvement to handling.

American Racing, is a good racing game. However, it is no-where near any other racing title on the internet or in the gaming industry in it's entirety. I found American Racing, to be very dry in terms of content. All you do, is go through the calendar and unlock more "upgrades" for your vehicle. But the fact, that the upgrade system is so small -- the game feels like a chore to reach your way to the top. I wasn't a complete fan of this, nor the challenges this game offers; that has NOTHING to do with NASCAR racing in General. Why am I running over walruses and pies? What is the point? That does not improve driving experience, if anything, it's teaching you to commit roadkill. Overall, good job to the developers of TURBONUKE. But, they have a long way to do in order to make American Racing a fantastic online title. I have given this game a 3.5 out of 5.

tip: once you get a really good sponsor go back and redo the first overtake race, i was able to get 10,000 plus every time with the last sponsor, its a good moneymaking scheme

best part was allowing to go back to previous races to upgrade completely.
More upgrades, Including body kids, more colours changes, maybe diffrent rims that give bonuses, +1speed stuff like that but they are expencive.. kinda RPG for Racing.. anyone? lol

interesting challenges would be - finish a whole lap in first place, beat a race without boosting, and beat a race with no damage

With exception to the rather fun 80 car race, the only major challenge is trying to beat them all on the first lap. Make it harder and maybe add an achievement ingame for "Be in first place for a whole lap"

they really need more time for slalom i can barly just pass it let alone get gold its rediculous ive gotten 15,000 off just redoing the first slalom and i havent even gotten gold yet

the only thing I wish is if I could improve the steering more. most of the turning is more slight then sharp which insome cases its good and others I found bad
