I have to say that this is a neat an impressive game. You took the elements of Formula Racer and managed to spice it up, adding features that were once suggested by the previous game. Great job turboNuke.

Not a particularly challenging game. For the medium badge stick to the 40 cars/1 lap race (Ads Anon Challenge day 1). Upgrade engine, tyres, boost, offroad as cash allows. Badge earned in a maximum of 25 plays at just over 1 minute per play - about 30 minutes in total.

I'm not the only one leaning left and right in their chair whilst going round the slalom gates, right? I can't seem to avoid doing it. Apparently my body thinks it will make me go faster! O_o

It's somewhat irritating/useful that all the races earn you the same amount for winning (ignoring sponsorships). Just get a medium sponsor and do the first race over and over again to upgrade your car considerably, and you'll easily beat the difficulty curve.
The only exception to this is slaloms. Damn you, slaloms!

the camera movement makes me dizzy, seems like a useless and rather stupid effect, i would have enjoyed it a lot more had it not been for that.

Don't even try to get all gold medals...at 30 you get the Kon badge , and for all you get....nothing. Just concentrate on getting the ''pass'' objective to unlock the car. 100% gold completion unlocks nothing.

my suggestion for a upgrade system would be to split the current ones into sub-upgrades... for instance, boost could be split into "Capacity"/"Duration"/"Power" and then Engine could be split into "Horsepower(max speed)"/"Acceleration (how fast it gets to max speed)", Tires can be split into "Drift"/"Grip"/"Duration", The fuel can be split to "Duration"/"Capacity"/"filter"(the higher the level, the more pure and efficient the fuel is making the car faster) :) these are just a few of the possible ideas for upgrades. + if you agree :P

gates and hits are almost impossible to complete on gold,
why dev didn't make it easier? i barely pass them with +10 tries each
while races one or two times as much for 1st place

I like this game enough not to mark one star off for each problem but it's not a game I can complete. As axxidental says, Tire upgrades should increase your handling. As such, slalom events aren't worth trying. Hitting objects is annoying - including depth of field, small hitboxes, unknown paths for Haddocks and of course, tire handling. As a smaller bugbear, you really have to heavily rely on Boost to finish later events, especially overtaking - which puts cars into packs that you can't draft between.

whoever programmed the camera to bounce all over the place instead of simply following the car needs to be kicked off the team...

Would be nice if you could have a tutorial or at least something explaining the basic. For example, how to draft? Is drafting a good or bad thing? Is it better to smash other cars or the goal is mainly to dodge?
Also, the prizes awarded should go up. I don't see the point in running race 2 and finish second to win 500$ if i can run race 1 and always finish first with 1000$ reward.

Slaloms shouldnt exist, there should be a increse chance to spin oppponent by 5% each upgrade and a little test your skills thing. These are the best options to put in the next version of this game.

in june 21 there's a race that to receive gold award we should overtake 40 cars, but when we start the race, it says that my position is 40/40, this means that there are 40 cars INCLUDING me. How am I supposed to get gold if i can only overtake 39 cars? (I can't overtake myself)

So you're telling me that you want me to take my $100k car and hit a bunch of cardboard cut-outs of haddock. Uh...sure.

Something that always weirds me out about TurboNuke racing games is how it doesn't matter if I take the inside or the outside of any turn -- these aren't really curves in the route, they're still straight lines it's just shoving me left or right.

Car customization is a a little weak, not really much point if all there is is the ability to change one color scheme, especially with the automatic sponsor decals that don't change with the car. Should just have the entire car change with the sponsor than tease us with such a minimal customization mechanic. Improved handling option would be much appreciated. The minigames are a nice touch, tho the random generator for placement should be less random, it is hard to hit two objects that are horizontal from one another a whole track width apart. The game looks nice and gets addicting, which makes for a good time waster. With a few more additives and tweaks it could be addicting for much longer than it is.

I'm so glad the hard badge does not require you to gold every level. That first gate level is damn near, if not, impossible to gold. idk if there are other harder levels, i stopped playing once i got the hard badge

People complaining about the slalom courses: try not going your maximum speed, it gives you much more time to get to the gate.
People complaining about the "hit things" courses: try laying on the boost constantly; it refills when you hit something.

This game was cool but, but I hate when the screen shakes when you get hit, and when you turn, the whole screen moves with the car.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you can skip some stuff you dont want and still get hard badge, i skipped all slaloms and most "hit" races, way too much effort / antifun.
rest is pretty good!

fun game. forgot this gem. on the other hand, some of the challenges are a pain in a arse. some are near impossible (slalom gold). quite infuriating.

Okay. Played through all the badges, and now I have a couple of significant gripes. One: Collision detection, especially on the robots. It's terrible. I've watched robots pass through my car without breaking multiple times. Two: The custard pies. The splash effect is amusing, but not when it makes you miss the three pies right behind the one you hit. Also, same deal as with the robots - collision detection. Three: This is a racing game, and you're seriously telling me there's no way to upgrade or even adjust handling? Bad form. It's a good game, but it has some crippling flaws. Three of five.

I get 1st place in every race in 1 or 2 tries, but when I go to smash items, It takes me forever just to PASS it. I would think the races would be harder, and the smashing into items part would be easier..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
That's the kind of game we can be sure the creators never bothered to play before releasing. Races are TOO easy and the other events are REALLY hard...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game except for the stupid events where you hit objects. Has nothing to do with racing. Stick with the main idea and it would be 5 stars.

The only PROBLEMS were the different modes that didn't race the AI, you felt the issues there and the handling couldn't really handle it. Hitting objects kinda felt off at times, sometimes I felt the hit box wasn't clear enough. Lastly objects shouldn't stay on the field unless it looks different. Broken robot pieces, fine. Smaller basket balls? no. The random placement sometimes felt like you needed to be a little luck to manage a gold. Slalom Gates were indeed the WORST, either the handling isn't made for it or the gates were placed too close together... or I just suck (honestly it feels like I can clear it if I clutch hard enough). Felt good when you're racing, little nostalgia to the classics. The non-racing, not good. I know you're getting complaints on handling, but it's good. Any more and it's not made for the racing section. 2+/5, I admit I had fun, but the issues stood out. Though at the moment this is all I can think of, hope it helps.
