Those other cars in the Turkey race have amazing handling - even at 100 I can't avoid drifting across the road, but they remain perfectly in position.

So even though i drift from the inner corner to the outer corner these cars going just as fast as i am dont drift at all? where can i get handing like that

For the Formulaic Badge, you can get 5 awards using only the first two tracks. All it takes is a bit of practice and a fully upgraded car. I suggest going for these awards:
Wrong shoes (Win with the wrong tyres)
Winning in the Rain (Win a race in wet weather)
Maximum Booster (Win a race with full boost)
Boosting 10x (Use boost 10 times in a level)
Tarmac Lover (Finish in the top 5 and don't go off the tarmac)
Winning Crasher (Crash and still come first)

The absolute hardest map for me is Turkey, if that huge curve doesn't crash me I end up so slowed down I cant catch up again.

The game seems to have a little problem with numbers; class 1 max's speed should display 180.00 mph but sometimes displays 179.110 (??)
same happens with class 2 displaying 199.110 mph. IDK if happens with class 3, not there yet

My problem with this, and why I gave up going for the medium badge, is that the turns seem completely random. At times on the course, on the exact turns, when I'm moving exactly the same way, sometimes I'm fine, and sometimes I crash and automatically lose because the RNG decided to troll me. 2/5.

Thanks for reminding me of the great times I had with TopGear2(a game very similar to this one) back in the 90s. For a couple of hours it really brought my childhood back and am grateful for that. Also, excellent work with the photographic backdrops.

Stellar graphics for a simple racing game, but a minimap would've been much appreciated. The maps we do see don't even mark the starting point.

I went with full engine + full handling. Watch for corners that slow you down and use boost right after. I only used full engine + full boost to get the Bat award.

Memorizing is the best strategy to win. Do arrows count. Consider which arrows is dangerous, which arrows is safe to use booster.
Since there is no minimap... again... memorizing is the best strategy -.-

The driving model in this game is a joke. You can go full throttle through sharp 180° corners, the really long gentle ones are the ones you'll have trouble staying on track on. Always go full engine full boost minimum handling. The last two tracks (Turkey and India) are the only ones where you need to drive well, everything else is easily won by grinding for more upgrades.

Instead of a minimap, I would like to know the sense of the track, and where I start so I can remember the track. It wold be more realistic.
Sorry for my english.

OOOAAAH! This game is much better tanh I thought! It reminds me a very old game (from Sega times) called... oh, damn, i forgot! It's the same nice race dynamic (like, exacly the same) except that the other game was with motocycles and you could hit your oponents (with short range weapons!) and be busted, indeed. I guess the name was Superbike. And really, it appears I'm playing him again, its so... nostalgic...

Fun game, but there a few things you could work on. 1. Reiterating the idea of a mini map, you already have a space set aside for it (the car position map), I would find the mini map much more useful. 2. Adding more levels to each stage, and also, where da heck did those cool obstacles go? I'm referring to those in formula racer one(FR1) (cant remember which map, but there was one completely bordered by blocks, and I feel the tunnels were cooler in FR1. Adding more obstacles, and even different maps could really bring this game to the next level. Map Ideas: actual underground, dark tunnels; night time map; maybe some famous formula 1 tracks? Anyways, great job and keep up the good work.
