After the first race I had five achievements, but my favorite was "What No Breaks?" after which I thought "Breaks? What are these things you speak of?

COPIED FOR VISABILITY: To get the easy badge on your first race: go to "Set up Car" and set engine to max (top of triangle). Start the race. Hold down W throughout the race even if you're off the track. Don't bother trying to brake ever. Press Space to boost every time it's available and the track ahead is straight. I came first by some margin, even though I crashed once (hit the metal gantry).

I was like "I wonder if you can crash another car xD They could do an achievement like that... Well, probably not, too violent I guess" LOL

Actually, I agree with Vamps10, it's only an "ok" racing game. It has too many inconsistencies to make it a great racing game. You hit someone from behind? You lose speed and they pull ahead of you. If you get hit from behind? They just move to the side and still pass you anyway. And YOU are the only person who is required to brake going into curves, everyone else accelerates through with no problems. And what happened to drafting? It doesn't seem to exist in this game.

I think this is the first formula game i've enjoyed, ever. And considering i prefer games of higher quality that this, that says a lot. 5 stars and a fav from me! If the developers still see the comments here, i think they should keep investing in this one, it feels well done and could use a couple extra features like the ones boylizard9 suggested :)

Ok i give up, that china level was created by satan. No matter how high my handling is, i still fly off the track when i slow down. Stupid rain.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Its a good game, but the fact the enemy cars can still drive at 200 MPH while turning but you have to slow down is quite aggravating.

the game has a major bug in it the controls loose connection in the 4th race, The steering locks up causing you to have no control of your Indy race car.

Awesome tactic: Set your statistics ball halfway in between boost and speed. Give yourself about 1 half inch of variable space if you have a preference. This statistic distribution never fails as long as you can use boost effectively. To compensate for bad handling just give the turns as much as they need ( even brake if you have to) and your elite speed and boost should make up for any lost ground and the some. Best tactic. Rate up so everyone can see. ---Thank you.

I'm glad we don't have to pay for car damage bills. And also a suggestion like leaning back, left, right would be nice. Good game 5/5.

So, when you hit another car when you're both going 200Mph, nothing happens. But when you hit a barricade at 120 you blow up? Anyway, why would these douchebag safety co-ordinators put death barricades on sharp turns? a more logical barrricade would be tires, or hay, something that doesn't kill me EVERY race.

I have a bit of a racing background so a few things are counterintuitive to me. You should slow down just from turning. Except in a very mild turn, you can scrub speed without lifting off the accelerator. Smoothness seems to count for nothing. Changing direction on a straight at full speed or twitching in a corner should upset the chassis or at least slow acceleration.
On the upside, playability is good. And I like the "tiger teeth" telling me which way the turns go. However, the big turn signs for the tighter turns really only need to be at the entrance of a corner, not all the way through.

Yea honestly, don't go for first go for third, get special car, finish first easily. I think the reason there isn't a minimap is so its more "authentic" as if you were actually driving. Same with all the other additions people want.

To get 278 mph in the Special Car, I maxed out my engine and raced on the Brazil track. The straight part of the track allows for your to boost your way up to 278 mph. + this comment if it helped!

3/5 in general not bad... but for one i dislike the rubberband method per se... uncrashing enemies no speed loss on curves for enemies and all the other issues others mentioned already... unfairness in such a game is a serious downer...

A nice solid racer, though I find it annoying that no matter how much I put into handling, every other car can still take corners faster than I can. Usually only an issue on the really sharp turns but having to slow down or brake to make the turn while being passed easily is a bit frustrating to watch.

Also kind of ridiculous that other cars have no penalty for hitting the player. but the player can lose 30mph+ just by touching another car.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if you make contact with a car you slow down no matter where the contatct is made and they dont.... kinda annoying. mini map would be nice

Could you tell me how to save my progress?
When I sign out of the site all my progress is being deleted....there's no save.......

All you really need to get first place for all the tracks is the "special car". All my problems about turning enough around those sharp turns are nothing with this car.
I also find it funny how the "special car" is the most normal car out of them all (like ones that you would see everyday in the past). :) Nice game.

Using Boost in this game will be the most helpful thing.. Its basically a guider for you while racing.. If you notice how easy it is to move around when making turns.

I have to say, compared to the later 2012 version, this is horrendous. Even after upgrading all the way and fiddling with your car setup, you can't do turns...you just can't. The last races I can't even get 3rd place, hell I can't even get near third place. Every turn you take guarantees you'll lose at least 5 places, exploding at least 10 if not all of them. This is just one of those games where the AI is perfect and you just have to deal with it.

I find it mildly entertaining that I gain more cash in last place on the current level than coming in first place on the previous one. Also, I found car handling extremely different between my cars and my competitors. I did enjoy the various backdrops. At least it felt realistic in that aspect.

TurboNuke/Longanimals = best racing games on Kong!
They all use the same engine with different perspectives but if one game is good that means they are all going to be great right? :D

i gotta ask:
if my car has capped engine and i'm in the middle of boosting on a straight stretch, how in the hell am i being passed?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Brake is absolutely useless... turning would be OK... if opponents wouldn't simply cheat on turns - whatever i do, they always get it right, never blow and accelerate on it - that's seriously irritating.
