Strangely, you gain more money as 24th place of a race than as champion of the previous race. So, in early game, use money to... unlock races! Plus, you dont need to unlock track 2 and 3 to unlock track 4, so go for the highest you can pay for. Once in Gt Britain, one 24th place will give you money to buy 3-5 car upgrades. About races, best tips: 1) use a lot of engine 2) know the track 3) accumulate boost and use in the areas you know there are no curves that will force you to brake. If you like these tips, give it a "+" :O)

the red/white stripe corners are rigged. you can't drive em through full speed without drifting but the opponents can lol

This game is not so good as Formula Racer 2012..... The car upgrading option doesn't seem to work so obviously as I can feel, or I am not really a Game IT......

The steering is ok. However, the opponent cars don't seem to be affected by curves at all while I skid. Using the brakes just slows me down too much. It needs to be even out.

Well, afkol... It seems very unlikely, but a formula racer is NOT able to take much damage. Besides, some cacti are able to grow very hard and steadfast. And some bushes may just be able to ruin a formula racer. It's probably also better to have anexploion (due to it's ability to quickly show the player that you have ruined the car).

There really needs to be something done about the AI's ability to take turns. It's actually gotten to the point where I know at every sharp turn I'm going to drop 2 positions from having to slow down. I've tried maxing out handling, I've tried maxing out speed, I've tried maxing out boosts, and I've tried combinations of all three. I still end up losing 2 positions at every single sharp turn because I have to slow down and nobody else does.

the lack of a minimap wasn't a problem. the fact that opponents can take turns at full speed, but u hafta slow down (and sometimes crash anyway) was super-annoying. 3/5. fix the stuff and it would have been 4/5 maybe 5/5. i hate it wen peeps complain about a game and give it 5/5.

I hate when the music and sound effects are the same damn button. The music will be unbearable after one race. Mute can be worse because you want to hear all the sound effects.

Reminds me of Pitstop 2 on C64: if I hit another car, my speed slows down. If another car hits me, my speed slows down. Fair enough I guess. Like others have said, money becomes useless way too fast. There should be at least couple of more upgrade possibilities, up to level 20 would be nice. That might help with those annoying curves...

@jamestpierce i know exactly how you feel, i could get 1st in 1-7 but on the last one, i had so much trouble i just aimed for 3rd place or higher to unlock that special car, my life was like 500 times easier just cuz that special car could go thru any turn w/out having to break even a tiny bit ^o^

I don't understand why you unlock a "Special Car' .. When you've finished (Got #1) in all the races... There's nothing left... renders the car useless o.0
