In a time based game, why are there other golfers competing with me? I hole out before they do and press "END NOW" yet I come in second or third place. Yes, I read the above comment about making sure they have as many strokes as I do before ending the hole. If the badges and achievements are based on time, distance, skillshot, etc.. then what purpose do the other golfers serve? The prize money could be based on time of completion+bonuses. If it was to create chaos, then you accomplished you goal. Why not put Barry Bazooka on the course blowing up zombies while I'm trying to put. At least the explosions might help the push the ball in cup much like Caddyshack. I want to like this game but it's difficult

Easy way to get the medium badge : When your teeing off hit the ball straight up. This will allow you to tee off again. Keep repeating until you have 5 supershots then finish the level. Thumbs up so new players know.

The ground itself is poorly made. Raised asphalt with 90 degree angles will often fire shots back to their point of origin, if not beyond. I even had this happen with a green. Absolutely ridiculous and poor design. Smooth those edges, they add nothing to the game play.
Greens are another matter. There really needs to be some form of better shot control outside of powerups or at least an option to use a putter when right at the edge.
Swing control is poorly implemented. I do not know where you learned math, but the difference between 95% and 100% is not as great as you seem to think.
I hope you decide to smooth out the rough edges of this game, because despite these flaws, it does have a lot going for it. It just needs work. Take the time and polish it out and it could be a whole lot of fun, especially with the addition of more courses and unlockables.

Enjoying the game. I will suggest if possible looking at tweaking the AI's ability for chip shots. Everytime they're near the green, they seem to either chip directly in or make it roll perfectly into the hole. Once in a while is a challenge, every player on every hole is too much.

I'm disappointed that there is no Condor (-4) or Hole-In-One icon. It's certainly possible to get a hole-in-one on Green of Death (Par 5). Took the lift, extra power, dead stop power ups, and had a trailing wind of 8 mph. Took me a few tries, but I did it... only to be greeted with another Albatross icon. Somehow I doubt that it's possible, but I'm going to give the Par 6 a shot now at getting a Hole-In-One.

major glitch when on main menu click practice choose level 9 or level 18 quit after the first swing then at main menu click start round click on continue it will send you to the level where you have practiced. finish the level to get hard badge. 9 is the first part of hard badge and 18 is the second part of the hard badge. I voted 1 cause of this glitch.

I really wanted to like this, but the whole timed round ruined it for me. If you had an option to do regular old stroke play, I think I'd come back. Otherwise, I'll just let these badges go...

WOW, wtf is the point of buying new gear and increasing stats if it's just going to offset whatever gains you get with fake difficulty? Jesus Christ, I hit the ball twice as far, but by the time the ball stops the half a day of bouncing (which wouldn't go that long irl) and he stops staring at his own magnificence and actually runs to it, they've already hit the ball again and caught up to you, sometimes, even pass you up. That's another thing: Human players have to move the mouse AND wait for the power meter to get to where they want; a game AI doesn't. It has the exact scripts of angle and power to go right away when their AI player character gets there. 1st place turns into 4th place almost all the time at the green because of that, and that really shouldn't happen.

Holy crap, it took me hours to build up those upgrades. I'd gotten the time necessary for the first course for the badge, but not the second yet! Why couldn't you at least give people time to try and finish the badges?!?

Got the hard badge! 340 seconds ... close! By the way, how are the "10500" (350 seconds) and "16500" (550 seconds) figured? I can't see the significance, only that 350x30=10500 and 550x30=16500. What's important about 30?

4/5... Turbonuke it's a good game but something feels missing. More Courses, more zany characters that we have come to love, and more skill shots (hitting the ball thru hoops, tubes, moving holes in the walls, etc.) something more along the lines of the 2nd bicycle game you did.. a zany story and repeatable.. I'm already 90% thru and only have 2 more unlocks to do... all of this in a little over a hour.

OK finally got the hard achievement... can't say i actually had fun getting it though... isn't that meant to be the point?

If you make a Hole In One you should get bonus cash maybe like 1.25 of your original money for that. Would help because making Hole In One is kind of hard to do in this game.

For real!?... I missed the 30pt badge because it took me 350.4 seconds to finish the first set of holes.... BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is it just me, or it is relatively easy to complete the 2nd course in under 550secs, but extremely hard to complete the 1st in under 350secs, even with the powerups?
I mean, it's an average of 39secs per hole on the 1st course... If you have an average of 2 shots per hole (which is way beneath par), that's 10 additional secs in each hole, so you'd have to get the ball in in less than 29secs in each hole o.o It's almost the time the ball takes to come to a halt after a drive shot <

So for the hard badge, 350 seconds for 9 holes. that's 38.89 seconds per hole. now, let's say that you take two shots a hole, that's 28.89 seconds per hole, to complete it. That's less than 15 seconds of run time, between each shot, including time for the shot to come to an end. So if you are trying to figure out, exactly how long you should take for each shot, I hope that this helps. (I don't have the badge yet, just working on it and trying ot figure out the best way to approach it)

Best and easiest way to get the Hard badge is to quit a hole if it doesn't go well and then continue your round. This way you can ensure the best possible score and essentially play on a 'hole-by-hole' basis. Just make sure you have enough money saved up because you may burn through it on power-ups. I recommend Power swing/air-boost/super stop.

Tip for those going for the Hard badge: To restart a hole without restarting the whole course, exit to the main menu before finishing the hole then press Start Round - Continue.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The hard badge is extremely hard. Unless you cheat. If you don't be the round fast enough, exit the round, go back to the menu, 'continue', repurchase power up, and do it again.

i feel like the winning sound shouldn't be a loud trumpet roar, but instead the golf-claps or a "oooOOooh", something less "SHOUTING IN YOUR F*CKING EAR AFTER YOU'VE ENJOYED THE PEACEFUL CHIRPING OF BIRDS AND WHISPERS OF WIND, LOSER!" ... seems unfitting

Pros: The game looks good, the physics engine does well & the controls are fairly responsive.
Cons: The grind for money to get better equipment is tedious. Also, the benefit for buying lower level gear doesn't seem to outweigh waiting until you have enough money to buy the top tier item. Also, having your progress cleared is a definite deal breaker. I came back to the game to kill some time and maybe make some progress, but with all of my stuff gone, I won't be coming back.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The trick to the hard badge ("Be The Ball") is powerups; you don't even need maxed equipment. Use the Airboost and Power Swing off every tee, and the super stop to avoid overshooting the hole. You can get several holes-in-one with this method, which makes the speedrun goals much easier.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Was almost maxed out and for the second time you take my save data! Screw it! Won't be coming back to play this again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"Nothing I can do about that. Sorry." yeah, thats why this happens to every game on kong... oh wait, you can actually save the progress if you do a proper job as a programmer. noone would stay for more than 5 minutes if this game didnt get badges it does not deserve at all. 0/5

Also, the BROKEN "end now" button is really nasty. You should fix that - and at the very least WARN people that the button doesn't do what it pretends to do.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The fact that the power of the shot has a variance of only 20 makes putting and sinking extremely difficult. Plus, actually getting the ball into the hole relies too much on the game's already unrealistic physics. There should be a sort of "vacuum" that pulls shots in.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if the time isn't looking good for you on a particular course you're playing, just quit to menu and resume the game, you get to start over from the course you're didn't finish
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This game seriously needs a restart course button!!! Could be the 'r' key :P Instead of having to do SIX mouse clicks to have yet another failed attempt at a course.

So how is it that I can be fully upgraded, use a power bonus, hit a 120% shot, not hit any impediments and yet the other golfers hit their shots further?
