Under rating threshold (show) I found an easy way to grind for money. On the last round, all players have gotten their balls into the hole, pause and go back to the menu. The game has already given you your winnings for the tournament and for the hole itself but hasn't saved the hole finishing so you can keep replaying the hole instead of going through the entire tournament. If you're in first then it's a fairly quick and easy $1,000+.

Under rating threshold (show) There definitely needs to be some kind of better gauge for putting. You'd think 50% would do half of the entire flashing line, but it doesn't even come close. Maybe it would help if under the practice menu, there was a putting practice??

Under rating threshold (show) One thing I've always hated is when the statistics are faulty. If gray really is 90% your shots shouldn't have such a profound difference regardless of what you hit. It's more like 70% or 60%, 95% is more like 80% and 110 is more like 120%

Under rating threshold (show) speed golf involves running after you hit the ball. so why do we have to wait for the ball to stop? and it seems that the physics of the game only apply to my player and not my opponents. why is that? most frustrating game i've tried in the last 2 years!!! gave it a 2nd chance...how do you give negative ratings?

Under rating threshold (show) For anyone trying for the hard badge; 1... upgrade everything first. i upgraded putter to the second best cause the putting distance is rarely important. 2... Always buy the Power Swing and Air Boost upgrades for courses that you can't reach the hole from the tee in. 3. Sunny Andrews is much easier than Stony Beach. Slay it first. 4. Stony beach; buy the aforementioned power ups every attempt + probably also the Super Stop one. I used it heaps beating stony beach. Getting from 1 shot to 2 shots [plus running time] when it lands on the green adds a lot to your time when it comes to Stony Beach. I used Harry Quantum because the extra bounce can get you the distance you need. Hope this helps!

Under rating threshold (show) That is really sad. Every time I log into this game (day, after day) I loose all my game progress. There is nothing wrong with my firefox, nothing wrong with cookies, etc. Just this game is so messed up...I really like it, but starting every time from beginning makes me sick. Sorry guys, I wont play this game any more.

Under rating threshold (show) That hard badge is impossible. It got a hole in 1 on the first hole and that was 27 seconds, 2 shot the second and that took 40+ seconds. You'd have to get a hole in one on every hole.

Under rating threshold (show) This games Badge is way too hard, considering you having ca 39.9 seconds for completing each map, while making a perfect one shot, which is almost impossible( only possible with 3 powerups used in this one) takes 20-30 seconds depending on the map +5 seconds for the shot itself. An additional shot would take ca 10 seconds involving movement etc +5 seconds for the shot itself. Meaning that in 9 maps featuring lakes, sandbunks and high grass( not sure how it hinders, but some pokemon might leap out to distract) you would have to perfect 50% and two hit the other 50% which is way too much. The second part of the badge is okay.

Under rating threshold (show) I played a near perfect round of golf against the AI, winning the tournament with a score of 34, and I'm still 4000 points short of the hard badge. Seems a little too difficult even for hard, eh? Or at the very least it's a bit of a disparity between what it takes to be good at the game itself and what it takes to earn the badge.

Under rating threshold (show) I like the following power ups. Super Stop, Airboost, and Power Swing. I buy them in that order too. That puts Power Swing at the top so it is easy to pick it then set swing angle and get a 120% power drive. Next I use Airboost while my drive it near its peak to really get a long drive or to help bounce over obstacles while ball is progressing. Last I use Super Stop on green to drop ball in hole. Then I can drive ball onto green from long ways out and stop ball just as it reaches front lip of hole. The spin on the ball will kick ball forward so time it right.

Under rating threshold (show) Here's a huge tip for those who have a hard time with the hard badge! If you exit the level before you sink the ball, you can come back and replay that round if you click the continue button. That way you can keep playing it till you get your best time :D

Under rating threshold (show) I was able to get 266.10 on the first course using this method. Hopefully Turbo Nuke doesn't fix it as a "glitch" but if you exit from a course, and then you continue, you get to start that hole over, with the previous times saved. So theoretically you can keep trying the same hole over and over until you get a good time. NOTE: you do not get to keep coin/powerups you used before you exit, so make sure you stockpile coins before you use this method, I recommend around 5000. On a sidenote, you can't really get the best times without getting the best gear (other than putter), and using the power swing and airboost powerups every time off the tee. I also used the airbrake power to stop the ball right above the hole. I would just try to get the needed time on the second course as your coins just build up over time even if you use powerups (because of the 1k 1st place prize). +1 to keep alive.

Interesting balance of accuracy and timing, but AI seems to "follow" too much and you just "brute force" your way thru equip upgrades. Course layout makes me feel like I need to lose to get coins to get minor upgrades that don't help.

Under rating threshold (show) This is definitely a neat game but I have noticed a couple of things which can be pretty irritating. If you pause your game before taking a swing, if you click to resume it counts as your shot which leads to some unfortunate swear words. Also if you are in the middle of a round and choose to practice for a hole, you lose your progress on that round. Finally, I would love the option to change clubs while on the green. It can be frustrating to land on the edge of the green and have to sacrifice a few shots just to get it close to the hole.

Under rating threshold (show) Too much ridiculous luck based circumstances 110% tee shouldn't bounce off a hill and roll back to a 10 ft gain.. nor bounce around on a bench for 20 seconds.. also seems no matter the upgrades the competition increases negating any gains

Under rating threshold (show) If you're doing bad on a particular hole, you can quit via the bottom left button and then re-enter the game by continuing your current round. This will let you start the hole again without penalties. Also, the wind conditions change each time you do this, so you can keep 'refreshing' until you achieve favourable conditions. All this effectively makes it a 'hole-by-hole' basis for the hard badge (although you still have to play them in order).

Under rating threshold (show) For everyone trying for the hard badge, one quick tip: if you exit out of the hole before you complete it, continue the course at the main menu and you can restart the hole without any time penalty.

Under rating threshold (show) your only options for swing strength are: 90%, 95%, 100%, 110%, and 120% with the powerup. come on, man. most of golf's nuance comes from putting, but there's no option for that kind of fine touch that is required. you can't chip into any hole, as it inevitably bounces right out. please fix the short game.
