I would like to point out that the Burn skill reduces the enemies max hp rather than their current hp, making it seemingly useless, other than that I enjoyed this game.

It's unfair to the composer of the soundtrack to not include their name and the names of the songs among the credits.

If you so happen to die and you want your life back, do some defense missions, there will be in challenging or difficult (don't remember) a mission involving vampires and their secret to longevity, which are health potion for +10 life

@Julpool no, it's random recipe in shop, so it can appear early. Also crafting that book requires very high skills (1750+ total in artistry+smithing), along with 1750+ in artistry+alchemy for stat enhancer elixir. So he apparently grinded a lot prior to all this crafting.

Played yesterday and then last night when I came back the game just sits at a black screen and won't load. Same thing this morning too. Other games play fine.

I have been playing this and the new one recently and was thinking this game would be awsome to port to the Ipad would be easy to use with touchscreen interface.

To those who complain about protection achievement: raise your mysticism, because it raises cap of bonuses. To check your cap go to inventory, then to buff section.

there should be fast battle button, I just hate watching same awfully slow animation over and over again. and missing a hit 3 times in a row with 85% chance to hit. I'm not whining, I just would like to somehow skip it, or fast forward :)

I love how the only thing distinguishing male from female is the addition of breasts. No change in features, body size, nothing. Just breasts.

@tornadozack_568 "the whole point that we died is that we need MORE hp ffs" no, it is back out of the dungeon when you can, when your health starts to be low.. be smart, don't die to begin with

(Demon Rift opens.)"Wow, I can't imagine how hard it would be to show this amazement in a story or even a game. You'd probably have to use some sort of trick where you just show the character's reaction to it."

hm.... save the town from necromancers, or save a puppy from bandits (deciding between 2 defense quests)..... hmmmm.... DON'T WORRY PUPPY! I'LL SAVE YOU!!!!!

Quick note on the RNG: If it seems streaky it really is bad/good luck. It's a very simple random number between 1 and 100. reset each time and not pattern forming, my tests and checks all confirm that it's entirely random and the percentages shown are the real chance.

I feel this game could be SO much better. I think you tried to build a long history with a lot of side quests and forgot about making the game user-friendly. Despite playing a lot of games, this was the one that irritated me the most and I think that just by changing some things it could improve a lot:
1) Why do I have to click to open chests? Just open it already...the game is already way too long and I still have to click every and each one of them after the battles and in the map..that could be avoided..
2) Being able to use keyboard shortcuts to attack would be so much easier and helpful too..this with the chests and all the repetition made my fingers hurt..
3) Fix the probability of hitting. You already change it depending on the strenght of the monster we're facing. So if it says 80%, I should be able to hit it 8 times out of 10...and not 5 times...it is often misleading..

Yes, I was found on the ground. PASSED OUT IN RAGS. He even says scavengers robbed me. And now he sends me on quest because I look I can handle myself in a fight. Where in the world did he get that idea from?

If you time it right you can attack the chest at the end of a fight. Just in case anyone feels like beating up a chest.

To all Black screen victims. I had black screen, right clicked and went to the Adobe page. I looked at the version window "You have version 10,3,183,5 installed". And i installed it less than a week ago.
I downloaded and installed the latest version that was version 10,3,183,7
Now it works perfectly.
please rate so ppl can read.

You'd think after seeing the exact same attack animation for every enemy in every fight, your character would figure out how to dodge the attacks.

A good start to a game, but a fair number of rough edges. Some suggestions: Automatically open the chest that drops after battle--that extra click is annoying and pointless, especially after the first 1,000 times. Add successful recipes to the book (from one carpet recipe, I can figure out the others...but their spots remain sadly blank...?) Start defensive quests with the first wave of enemies on the field--not even casters can reach them before the second round. And the ability to cast spells outside of battle/drink stat-boosting potions outside of a dungeon would be great.

I used a Black Shield Stain Mushroom thing on my Shield, and it turned black, but when I went to the Main Menu and returned to the game, it was purple again (UO Defender).

Cause some people said you can't, it is not arrow keys or WASD to move in Defense quests, it is click and drag. Mmk? Mmk.

@kevc Your complaint about the hit rate is faulty. You have to remember your not just rolling your attack, the enemy is rolling for defense, block, and dodge as well.
As for the YUM stuff it's simply gathering ingredients to use in recipes. Also to me it makes since for the chances of making something to not always be 100%. Think about it, can you always 100% complete something the first time you do it? I don't think so, you only get better with practice. Which is something I like about this game.

Hit knight with (simple bow) bow and arrow heavy attack 15 dmg, hit archer with bow and arrow heavy attack 15 damage, hit mage with bow and arrow heavy attack: 3 rounds of 1-3 dmg and then 10 dmg at most. The mages should be the most squishy since they can hit me for 25 dmg for some hits, instead, I fear them.

Does anyone have any suggestions to back up saves? I've achieved EVERY SINGLE ACHIEVEMENT TWICE, but for some reason or another they always get deleted, so I have to start over. Which is ok, because this game is awesome. But still, suggestions anyone?
