you know a game has a terrible luck based system when you occasionally miss 2+ times in a row with a 95% chance to hit

Just picked this back up after 6 years since the last time I played. I still wonder why I can't use the heal spell outside of combat.

@tornadozack_568 "the whole point that we died is that we need MORE hp ffs" no, it is back out of the dungeon when you can, when your health starts to be low.. be smart, don't die to begin with

Completed EVERY optional dungeon thinking that was what I was supposed to do.
Finally noticed a tiny main quest defense mission.... Back to questing, I guess. Hard badge, here I come!

Idk what kinretheor is talking about, I just got into a fight with a castle guard (40 hp) i had only 10 hp, i used a heal scroll went up to 15 (Sad) and then it dealt like .. 3 damage i believe so basically the whole fight i only had about 12 hp to kill this guy with, my highest was 95% (light) and my regular attack was in the 80s, my heavy in the 50s, i kind of switched every here and there between heavy and regular and somehow managed to finish off the castle guard with only 4 hp remaining not able to heal at all @w@ i was so happy i screamed YESH and pumped my fists in the air XD

It would be really beneficial if you could see the stats of an item before crafting it, this way you could see if you actually want it and not directly sell it afterwards since it's not usefull to you anyway.

Started a fight with 60 HP against an enemy with 40 HP. My highest hit rate was 87%, with theirs being 46%. Yet after 11 rounds in our fight, they only missed twice, and I missed 6 times. I died.. to a statistically weaker enemy that shouldn't have been able to kill me. Fair hit chance, my arse. Still rated 5/5, though. The game is great, even if the dice chance is tilted.

It's a cool game, I really like it and I beat the boss with 766 hit points in evil story line........it will really take long if you want to unlock the ascended and demon character in arkandian revenant cause you need to finish both story lines.

I spent 18 hours of fun gameplay until the final boss, which i had to grind for another 18 hours just to win. Sorry, but i don't have enough patience to play the sequels anymore...

I wonder why I'm missing with my bolts of magic so much. Hmm... Maybe it's because I'm violently swinging my spellbook to fire them?

If you try hard, get lucky, and keep repeating until you kill the first demon, the game crashes. Took me a long while to do it but I succeeded.

I saw I had to complete "Summoning tower" dungeon to choose a side, but I never did and it's not on my map, is there a way to unlock it ?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
How to complete campaign ? I think I completed every dungeon as there are only 2 remaining on my map : "Thieves in the Sewers" and "Dungeon of Mystery", but I still haven't chosen a side between Heaven and Hell and haven't fought against the final boss.

If anyone is having trouble getting Wings of Steel, this is what yo can do. Use stick's brother in your right hand, caster bane in your left, comic relief on your head, sacred robe on your torso, life wrenchers on your hands, warp plates on your legs, supreme spelljumpers on your feet, finger leech on your finger, and wolf slayer on your neck. Make sure yo have a high enough mysticism skill for this to work.

Is be more great to the game hunts no need gold but Skulls to Show Dificult , It is so more better than lose gold for Dungeons.

@kevc Your complaint about the hit rate is faulty. You have to remember your not just rolling your attack, the enemy is rolling for defense, block, and dodge as well.
As for the YUM stuff it's simply gathering ingredients to use in recipes. Also to me it makes since for the chances of making something to not always be 100%. Think about it, can you always 100% complete something the first time you do it? I don't think so, you only get better with practice. Which is something I like about this game.

By the way, I was totally just kidding. Even with a 59% hit rate, I still shouldn't miss 5 times in a row. A 50% chance, in average, should be a hit every other shot. My point is, most games are horrible when it comes to probabilities, and this game is among the worst ones. The only good games are when there are no chances involved(or if you actually manage to not screw it up, which I seldom see). You should always hit your enemy, the quests or crafting items or whatever ,should be a 100% success rate, as long as you fulfill the requirements. The difficulty should come from having the correct tactics to overcome enemies' defense or resistance , and obtaining the requirements to complete quests, not on luck.

btw, I can't tell what use are those 'YUM' food on the ground supposed to do. It neither replenishes my HP nor restores my MP.

I have rage-quitted several games, and almost all for the same reason: probability. Whether it is the chances of hitting an enemy, % of success rate of a quest, a common trait among games is that the chances of failure is much higher than expected. When you fail something at over 90% success rate, you get pissed. When it happens twice in a row, it is almost enough for me to rage-quit. However, with this game, I have found a way to avoid this: I always use heavy attack. If I miss several times with a 59% hit rate, I won't get mad af, but if i do with a 95% one, I most certainly will!

the defense games are *(&)(* retarded, why can't you turn around? wtf do you do when your idiot misses 5 times in a row?
