As always, undefined seems to have rushed making a new game causing many problems in spelling, gameplay, and quality that a bit of playtesting and patience might have fixed

How do you make a game with so many stats shown just as a symbol without having a mouse over text explaining what it is or at least the name. I'm not going to go hunt through your wiki to find this info.

I may not be a fighter or dungeon crawler, but I'm pretty sure I have more accuracy than these guys if I was blindfolded and then spun around about 10 times.

It's the way damage is calculated in pen and paper rpgs. 1d4 means one 4 sided dice roll, so 1-4 damage probability. 4d4 means four 4 sided dice roll or (1-4)+(1-4)+(1-4)+(1-4)

Additionally to the issue with the crafting materials, I think the UI and the menu handling are very inconvenient, for eg. just to get into barrack I have to click twice, first the barrack button then the building itself, and why? Changing between group units is bad as well, and the constant packing between store and inventory is annoying as hell.

Game is great! Enjoying it to the fullest, however, for some reason the attacks are effed up. a heavy attack did 4 dmg... then a medium attack did 7. You may need to re-examine the combat system

It took me a while to get into this game especially seeing as the wiki isn't working for me?
The lack of resources is really hurting the "alchemy" aspect, especially seeing as it's a random chance of failure and success.
It'd be nice if the store would actually keep track of what you sold, maybe at least for the time you're there, because I've more than once sold something unintentionally due to the very, VERY annoying random inventory item changer.
Seriously, you sell something and all of a sudden everything else moves as well. Quite bothersome.
As well maybe an item comparison window to pop up when you examine one, so you know whether or not it's better than the one you have?

This game is still the king of gameplay padding via use of the incredibly moronic hit-miss rates. I remember going to for hard badge once a few years ago and just getting absolutely bored to tears. And people wonder why undefined doesn't make many games anymore, it's safe to say, the well's run dry.

vntz89: In roleplaying games (rpg's) of both pen and paper and computer RPG's damage is determined by a roll of the dice. More than just a typical 6 sided die, rpg's rely on several dice which have different sides. There are 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20 and also 100 sided dice. So when someone says roll 3d4 what they mean is roll 3 4-sided dice. Just like a six sided die that has six sides and is numbered equal to the number of sides it has so too is this true with the other dice. So to compute damage when you roll 3d4 would be anywhere from 3 - 12 damage per roll. Hope that helps.

As I loved Arkandian Crusade so much, I had high hopes for Revenant. Instead I'm disappointed to find no additions to character designs and limited access to resources. If SOME of the achievements hadn't of carried over, I'd have to give it 3 stars. I'm torn, but am giving 4 since it's still a fairly good game and if I hadn't played the first I'd be more impressed. I am now eagerly awaiting chapter 3.

This game's Percetage of hitting is bullshit. My heavy is 47% and after 9 Trys i finally got 1 hit and it dealt 5 Damage.

A really cool feature in the game could be breaking down a item you dont use anymore and getting material from. It not a bad idea is =D

So when does the campaign pick up again, because after i retrieved the four relics nothing campaign related has happened. I've beaten all of the dungeons. Also all of the tactical levels up to five skulls. What do i have to do??

I love this game, but there is only one thing that REALLY grinds my gears... The hit percentages. There are so many times, especially when going against mages, that I will have a hit percent of like 70%, 80% or 90% and I swear i counted the actual hits and they added up to be about 10-25%
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
so frustrating... i hit about every third attack even though i have an 80% hit rate... yet the enemy hits more often with a 20% hit rate... dont get it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok I'm sorry to complain and all but the combat system sucks, I miss almost all of my 97% light attacks and heavy attacks do only as much damage as a normal attack or light attack. I love this game but this needs to be fixed so I don't have to click the attack button 50 times before I hit.

A lot of the stuff in this game doesn't make sense. For instance, what's the use of going on quests and saving the town? Seriously, YOU have to pay to save the town from monsters? Is it just me or does that seem wrong? Then there's the battle systems (yes... systems... plural...), I don't know about anyone else, but the systems seemed to weaken your character(s) too much for it to even matter. What's the point in upgrading if all that's going to happen is you're not going to get an improvement? The combat and game are slow paced, and, in my opinion, these types of games and combat systems need to move faster. The supposed lag issue fix doesn't even work. I switched to low quality and am still lagging. I'm running on an Alienware desktop computer as well so there's no excuse for this lag other than it comes with the game.

i have always loved this brand of game. a Rpg where stats are effected by what you do and experience not lvling up and picking what to put it in. However this game always seems to have lag problems, not to mention the repetition of battle gets annoying after the 10th time. takes too long to kill a enemy that you obviously outclass. there really should be a auto fight option where you can set the parameters of the fight. and set it up so you aren't forced to watch the animation of battle just click and its over. and for those less confident set it up so you can see the battle as normal and control it to (X) extent.

The only difference that I see between the the 3 different attacks is the chance to hit. I repeatedly do one damage with the non-weak strikes.

Freakishly bad crafting system. Super laggy combat. Poor in game instructions (but there IS a link to a wiki site that's down!). Inventory management is a pain. And the shop is just weird. Other than that it's a grind.

There is just no reason it should take that long to walk down an empty hallway. Step, wait, step, wait, step... MOVE, D@MN IT!

I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but I noticed for the 25-floor Mystery Dungeon, you start (floor 2; technically, floor 1 is a "welcome" floor) with the same grade of enemies and treasures as the floor you last exited. It resets to normal only when you click "Activate" on the 2nd floor stairs. So, if you keep doing only the 2nd floor and click "Head Out" to exit, you can keep reentering and farming artifacts (1 chest per time, if it generates a red chest floor) and gold for high floors without having to go through the whole thing over and over. This makes farming the game's best equipment for your Barracks units (and of course, yourself) quite fast. It also helps raise battle stats faster from fighting high level enemies right away. If you clear the whole thing, you can basically get floor 25 treasures and fight only Titans. :D

vampire lords are beyond OP... they can heal as well as drain life, not to mention they crit on almost every single hit, be it from a spell or a melee attack. i just got dropped from a vampire lore who had 7 life left, and i was full with 260 life. all he did was shield block and life drain and then heal himself. interesting concept of undead using healing spells on dead flesh.

How come I don't have all the Arkandian Crusade spells? I got the achievement that said in future chapters I would start off with all the Crusade spells.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@undefined idk if its been said already but for the random dungeon thing or the mystery the resources should be randomized like in the same patterns on the floor but instead of iron use coal or silk instead

Am I the only one who likes the new tactical combat better than how it was in crusade? I can use more than two or three units, and there's more to it than just getting a bunch of warriors and mages and standing in front of the enemies until they die. Even though they don't really affect my weapon choice, the new skills are fun, and lead to different strategies depending on what you have equipped. The tactical quests are about the only thing I think is better than it was in crusade...

game play is kinda slow as everyone is pointing out, resources are too scarce, and there is nothing to use gold on... except on bags... please update the game to respond to these problems...

The game has several shortcomings.
The graphics could have been more beautiful than the first, the maps of dungeons could have been more varied.
Equipment less bad, more resources, more regents and have the ability to create its own equipment.
Retain the ability to buy ingredients and books to increase skills.
A better use of money, a better detail of the file wiki (which does not explain much), the speed of the fight animation, the slow rise of skills and better spells (which are the same as the first).
I hope the requests from players will be listened for the 3rd episode.

Due to a glitch my female character appears with a beard in all the cut scenes. And I thought I couldn't love this series any more.
