Is the whole game supposed to look like it's taking place underwater and in slow motion? The tactics sections in particular happen agonizingly slowly. Speeding up the animations to about 300-400% would be worth another star on the rating.

in the menu i accidently clicked a race before mousing over for the tooltip. there was no back button so i had to refresh the page... think you could fix that and maybe on other pages where there is no back button?

So we have a crew of independent people, and you. I'm not sure why i cant go and fight with my crew in the open battles

@Jonyol The damage system is actually fairly widely used. A 2d6 means you roll two six sided dice and that is the damage you get. You could have used google for that.

I really wanted to like this game and I did at first but my opinion of it fell as I continued playing. As others have mentioned it lacks a way to really do any long term crafting and the hit % is highly inaccurate. The items that drop in the 5 star dungeons are crap compared to what you need to deal with the end monsters and boss. The only way to beat this game is to grind your skills in the repeatable dungeons until you can face the final boss. That's quite poor game play balance I'm afraid. The game could be very good but lacks polish.

this botd is.. highly annoying. 3 hours and not a single artifact. no clues on how the heck to even get one, can't get to wiki, and the game itself is pissing me off
someone want to tell me how the heck i still miss 7 out of 10 attacks with a freaking 85% attack?? the game would be ok if some time was taken to fix things

reviewing the dialogs on the game, I realized how little work was put on them. Jokes are silly and dull and they don't create an atmosphere for the game. In fact, they seem alien to the heroic line the game has.
Please, looking forward for next game in the series but make something with the texts.

Although this game is pretty fun, it eventually gets pretty repetitive and you realize that the game play goes extremely slowly... make a skip animation button or something...

I consider ability to play additional classes in upcoming games a bit cruel for those, who didn't finish Crusade. To play those bonus classes in Revenant, you have to had finished Crusade with both sides(to play both Demon and Ascended) and it was possible, although it takes hell of time to do it. In next game, to play all the races, you have to had finished Crusade on both sides and Revenant with all four races. It would be ok, if the games were faster, but they aren't. So maybe it would be better to make some races available after first ending of the third game, not after finishing first game twice and second one four times? It would be a lot fairer to the players, especially that some, who ended Crusade, lost saves(no matter in what way) and it would take much more time to get back to the point where they ended(that was my case). So please, give all the races to us without beating previous games six times. Just freaking please.

The combat is way too slow. It's nice to see your character attack the first two times, but after a while it makes me want to start smashing my head against the wall it is so tedious.

Here's how I think the design process went: "People play RPGs to watch numbers go up, right? So I'll put in a whole bunch of numbers and make them go up all the time! It'll be the best RPG ever!"

"So this warlock needs ingredients from around Arkandia..." Me: Ah Hell, this means a bunch of pointless, repetitive dungeons, just like the rift essence last game... "... let's burn the book and forget about it." Me: YES!!!

resources in mystery dungeon should be random, it doesn't really help if you have 99 of the same (rare) useless resource but just 1 or 2 common ressources.

to clarify how hard it is going to be just finding out recipes through experimenting, there is 24 materials to use, at max you can pick 16 different materials to use in a single recipe, thats 1.21165747909451e+22 different possible combinations...so yeah, while it would be remotely possible alot of people would figure it out WITH a good supply of materials, without them its nigh impossible...so yeah, crafting materials (and possibly a fix to that craftmasters workshop thing, im pretty sure it should have unlocked the last sets of recipes) back in the shop is a really good idea

if you ask me, this game is a good concept with poor exacution. first of all, i want to use my hero unit in tactical combat. also, the game is waaaay too slow. also, why cant i get any treasure chests from the repeatable dungeons?

Nice game with cool story elements and pseudo-random items, but I felt that the game was lacking, as it did not really lack much depth in a combat-intensive system. What I'm trying to say is, the game is obviously all about the combat, and which items you bring in should have some effect in the game, but it's really just walk walk stab until you die. There's no complex battles you can do, it's just 'should I use the heavy attack and risk it or be safe with the medium attack?' The game would have definitely benefited some sort of upgrade mechanic instead of your character just leveling on a whim to make it feel as if you were making progress, not the game making the progress for you. Still, nice story and combat framework.

PLEASE READ UNDEFINED: Please include an option to skip battle animation! Anyone remember the old pokemon games where you could choose to just see the damage instead of the animation? makes battles go 2x faster! PLEASE INCLUDE!!!

Please just fix your existing games. I wouldn't go as far as to say that they are crap, but after some point you realize that you are just manufacturing the same thing in every single game you make. (Fix the inventory system, the economy, the resources, the cross-over between games.) [While your at it, fix up Protector too.]

Ill never understand how out of all the games on Kongregate the games by this dev continue to be so popular. The mechanicsa are weak the gameplay (what little there is) is boring and repetitive, and they all seem to be cookie cut versions of the previous game the guy makes. How is it fun to move a circle through a dungeon picking up crap until finding an enemy then having a battle where you get 1 hit to every 5 misses?! It's ridiculous especially when there are so many good rpg style games on Kongregate like Epic Battle Fantasy series or the Valthirian Arc series, but this game and the others of its series... pure tripe

Currently my character has a blue hood, black armor, bright green boots, red gloves, a silver shield, and a glowing purple sword. Clearly the reason I am slaughtering my enemies is because they are too busy laughing at my appearance. *curses the well-dressed-yet-easily-killed enemies*

I know how to blow my money. If you buy the large pouches and use them at every opportunity, you not only get rid of unwanted money, but you train your mysticism skill at the same time. Hope this helped for those who had questions on how to train your mysticism skill.
p.s. you can also train you mysticism skill by using our scrolls.

A couple thoughts;
1) The tactical quests seem a bit underdeveloped, the whole energy idea seems outdated and uneccessary.
2) Where are my achievements?? After completing many achievements in the first game, I expected to see a souped up character with unimaginable starting power, tons of exclusive items/quests, and a continued storyline. Instead I found that I could play as an ascended one, which only offered superior armor, and a 1d10 bow.
3) I honestly think that the first one was perfect, and an extension of the storyline with 0 changes would have been perfectly fine. Instead I found an over-analyzed rework of the first chapter. On that note, it's still a fanstastic game 5/5 , but I hope that in the next chapter they revert back to the first more closely.
Also, If you are experiencing lagging, it helps greatly to change the quality to low. To do this, right click on a PC or control click on a mac, mouse over quality, then click on low. Hope this helps!

I've beaten the first two games twice. Once using chrome, once with firefox (alot of time I know) and neither save carried over. Anyone else having saving issues?

Allright. Upon further investigation I find some serious tweeking needs to be done in the tactical battle area. Any time you attack or get attacked at least 2 messages, an animation, some sort of floating number, often two and I think a weapon logo all try to fly past the same spot at the same time. Am I supposed to be able to keep up with all this? Since MOST of it is hiding behind a sign that says my character just gained XP I can't really do that.

Dear Undefined, your games are really great, but they all share the same problem - they are too slow. I really don't have time to spend many hours on game just because of animation. Please notice this and try to speed up this game, and all your future games. Because of this flaw, game deserves no more than 3/5, but I'll give it 5 with hope you'll make something about this and meet the requirements of hundreds of casual gamers on this site. Thanks.
