Under rating threshold (show) This is an excellent example of a card game that starts out mediocre but gets better with time. It grows on you, and the more you grow, the more it grows. Tons and tons of possible units and therefore oodles of possible combinations, leading to lots of replay value in the process. Some cards are a bit overpowered, and while they are rarely seen due to Legendary status and high costs to bring them into play, very little stands a chance against them. This can at times make the game too easy or too hard, depending on who's summoning who.

Under rating threshold (show) Four Dwarven Boon and four Mud Golem. It's been said before, but if you're lucky enough to get the Boons early on in the game you will win every subsequent game within a minute with this eight card deck. I found this to be a really creative game, and I enjoyed it, but some seemingly messy programming and perhaps the most tortuously convoluted interface I have ever seen in a flash game resulted in a pretty low rating. It has huge potential, but needs some longevity and a much, much better method of library management.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game. It leads to an easy follow up and there are a lot of areas for growth. I think Beholders shouldn't be in the game, its almost impossible to kill them. All of the +Gold cards should be removed, why would I put a card in to get 60 gold for free when it cost 10 gold? It's just giving me enough to draw another. I'd suggest larger decks with lower card draw cost to make for more strategic battles. Right now its just a money war and 90% of the strategy is getting a deck, not using the right card. Once you have enough income to flood them there is almost no coming back due to draw costs.

Under rating threshold (show) So, in game mute and quality buttons would be appreciated. On a higher end system got very laggy for me with a lot of units on battlefield. Not like these are complex interacting AI. Should have been smoother.

Under rating threshold (show) I beat this with the starter deck for the 'holy paladin' . . . in your hand keep only the gold mines, 1 or 2 mana producers, about 9 peasant cards ... and the card that makes it all work, Parting Gift (when one of your soldiers die it deals 1 damage to enemy base). throw in a few 'siege engines' to use up the spare gold and you can rock through all the levels

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game, but a little easy to walk on the the enemies once learning the mechanics. Powerful magic strategy: Use nothing dealing with iron except the repairs and the card that gives you 30 iron. 10-11 gold mines, dark merchants etc 3 crystal mines (perhaps one ancient mine, you have 10 iron left over from your scrap card) Any other instant pay gold, souls, and crystals you might have. Do not attack at all at the start of battle. Focus everything you can on drawing cards and gathering resources. Let the enemy walk freely into your portal. Once you can't draw any more cards because your hand and armies spots are full, start sending in your troops. Remember to use repairs before you kill your opponent, this way you will make max cash. Throw in several portal growth to net a bit more money each fight. This strategy will run through you deck or come very close to it every time.

Under rating threshold (show) The Deck that Ruled All Decks: "Kamikaze"(2) - you can try using "Parting Gift" as a substitute, "Reapers Bounty" saves you sacrificing a bunch of souls, "Peasant"(5), "Gold Mine"(8), "Crystal Mine"(2). This deck can easily & quickly beat all levels. You have to play normally until you get the kamikaze cards but then you're home free. Best place to look for them is from the Rare Pack.

Under rating threshold (show) To start a new game there should be a prompt asking if you want to erase your old game. I just made the mistake of clicking new game and I erased my old data. I was doing pretty good so I'm kinda mad that it was so simple to lose all of my progress. Please add a prompt when starting a new game so this doesn't happen again or to anyone else.

Under rating threshold (show) A great game - as with others, I would suggest stackability. After beating the game, it leaves you with pretty much nothing else to fiddle with. While a fun game, it lost the appeal in a few minutes after using the gold. Either more challenging foes coming up after the game, even if they were unfair, or then you should add gameplay over network, although I would see why it's understandable to not have it in the game, it would enrichen the experience by a lot.

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game, but it has, like all undefined's games, one major problem: It's not finished! He (she) always does the same thing. Think of an awesome concept, put in nice graphics and music, and release the game. It's a free game, and I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. But it's just such a shame. With a little bit more care the game could have been so much better. A few simple ways of sorting cards better would already help a lot. A complete list of cards so you know which ones you're still missing (make them questionmarks if you don't want to reveal what they are). And balance would be a nice thing too. Right now gold is just too strong. You can beat any game with a pure gold deck. Goldmines and cheap hitters. With coin purse (60 free gold) and best of all dwarven boon (150 free gold) this becomes even stronger. Unbeatable deck: 3 x mudgolem, 2x dwarven boon, 3x coin purse. No skill, no thought, win in < 1 minute.

Under rating threshold (show) Cool game. But ....not balanced and hopeless while scrolling to find cards to edit the deck. Consider: Add stacking. Add multiple tear up for cards. Add multiple buy for cards. Do something about lag while many foe's are in play. Balance the game properly and release a new version.

Under rating threshold (show) My Take on Cardian Pros: 1.Multiple Strategies are Viable 2.Massive amount of collectability for ocd completionists. 3.2-4 minute games once you get a decent deck are a good pace I think. 4.Huge amount of detail with different atributes on cards. Cons: 1. Organization of cards is retarded. 2. Beholders (and other things with piercing, hello fire warden) are just plain overpowered. 3. I have found Most Legendarys, and Iron in general to be mostly useless. Things to look Into: 1. Portal growth scaling your win profits. I have a deck that consists of nothing but Gold Mines, 3 Crystal Mines, 3 Mud golems, 5 peasants, 1 kamikaze, and as many portal growths as I have drawn. Its netting stupid high profits. 2. You need a better system of organizing cards. FFS let them stack please. Thats all it would take. Keep them in whatever jacked up order your system puts them in (I think its in the order you pulled them out of the bonus pack) but just let the cards stack.

Under rating threshold (show) 2/5 Music is bland. Computer has an infinite amount of all resources. Your amount of Gold Mines at the beginning of a match decides whether you win or not. Gazers are cheap (difficulty-wise, not price-wise. I think they're just right price-wise.) The amount of money you get for losing is way way way too low. Browser crashes with a high amount of summons in play. UI needs work. Unique premise. I did put in a few hours, but there were plenty of frustrating moments.

Under rating threshold (show) Why do I usually finish the game with 700 iron and crystals and 50 gold ? Feels like such a waste... And also, how come when I beat any of the masters at level 2, it doesn't level up ? I appreciate the new style and graphics we are all familiar with and love, but the game just tends to get boring and laggy. Quite a dissapointment, coming from the creator of the Arkandian Crusades and the Protector series. 3/5

Under rating threshold (show) It could be such a brilliant game but a few things completely ruin it. The fact that the AI doesn't follow the rules takes out a good chunk of potential strategy, golds vital importance removes a lot of what's left.

Under rating threshold (show) One hand deck: Kamikaze, Peasant, Coin Purse, 2x Gold Mine, 3x Bag of Crystals. How to win: Use every card except Kamikaze. Send out the first 10 Peasants in about 3 second intervals. Wait about 4 seconds, making sure you have at least 120 gold. Start sending out the rest of the peasants in about 2 second intervals. As soon as you hit 10 souls, cast Kamikaze, while sending out the rest of your peasants. When done perfectly you can get over 2000 gold per fight. If more than 10 Peasants die before you get Kamikaze out, you lose.

Under rating threshold (show) this deck i call power of the people its simple all you need is the basic holy paladin deck take out every card expect the gold mines the peasant parting gift 1 crystal mine and the siege engine cards keep drawing till you have all your gold mines and the crystal mine put the peasants ready to summon and put parting gift into play wait till you have about 700 gold then start summoning and watch as your peasants are killed and damage to his or her portal is dealt keep it up long enough and the peasants will break though :D i win with usually 2 peasants and the siege card in my hand and 50 peasant's (10 each slot) left unsummoned

Under rating threshold (show) problem: If I have multiples of a card, and only some of them are in my deck, and I tear one up, no matter which one I tore up, one gets removed from each of my decks. This is yet another ridiculous thing that gets this game my lowest rating yet (3/5, but the point still stands)
