A little sad that you don't get anything for match 3 or more in 2 different directions at once, it doesn't even give you the extra turn with 2 3's even though it should really count as 5 in a row.

It was super nice to finally pay off my debt and then be able to spend day after day in the shop clearing my crap inventory.

I dont't really like these games, but the work but into it looks great! The combination of gems and shopmanaging has not been exploided yet so good job!

Tips Continued: The only real challenge I encountered is the Unholy Temple area. You basically fight a boss the first round, and fight him again on the last round.../// Food at the beginning of the game does not give max HP! Only when the food starts saying +1 HP is when it does give max HP. Eat food in the Armoury menu. (It's a red potion)

Tips: "Wealth" is a great spell to earn treasure points. Get blue gems upgraded enough (around 15~?) to get 8 points for a 3 combo and use wealth at the beginning of the round for easy treasure. /// Do not overfarm the last 3 stages. All they drop is coal. /// Overfarming the first stage on the last list seems to be the best to farm. (River's End) /// Nymph's Spellbook from the River's End can be used till the end of the game. /// Overfarming can be done up to 15 times max, as you can do 2 attacks + 6 "Sneak Attacks" and 8 "Cold Snaps." Overfarming is where you hit the enemy again after he is dead, giving you loot/gold as many times as you can hit them while they are dead.

UI needs some work - the "Return to Town" button should be in the same place on each screen, I shouldn't have to search for it every time I use a different menu. Also, there are times when the button is disabled, but no visual change has been made to it (eg when another menu is open). Either have the extra menus open on top of it or fade/darken/completely remove it until I close the menu on top. Finally, I don't know about anyone else, but playing this really starts to hurt my eyes after about half an hour, the colour choices make it quite a strain.

The store could be for a mining company, with the amount of coal and diamonds you start churning out in the later stages. I'm beginning to wish there was a "sell all coal" or "sell all of this type" option.

for "unholy temple" difficulty spike, getting the "nympths spellbook" from getting the highest treasure reward in the previous adventure REALLY helps.
40 dmg along with sneak attack and a few items that increase damage with weapons is pretty good

Great game. Only sad moment was when I crashed when I had nearly finished my attempt to beat the all-time high score "Best Treasure Amount". Ah well, that can happen.

Adding to @accordingleaf's advice of using the Sneak Attack spell and casting it during your first turn to kill the enemy three times... you can cast the spell again. And again. And again. Untill you run out of green mana or rage. And there was a blue mana spell (forgot it's name) that deals 4 damage to the enemy and doesn't end your turn. You can also add that to your killing streak. That way, you can kill the enemy a TON of times.

There's this one longsword in my shop that WILL NOT SELL and I've had it since like the beginning of the game...what on EARTH is going on?!?

Best spell setup for endgame: Poison, Fire, Energy, Ice Storm, Endless rage and Treasure hunt: once you gather the first few mana you can go endlessly regenerating your mana, gaining rage, money and loot.

Adding to @linty's advice, once you obtain the Sneak Attack spell and cast it during your first move, you can kill the enemy THREE times! You'll need it to grind everything up for Unholy Temple and beyond!

Can't sell decent items but tatty pants sell as soon as they hit the shelf. The game is remarkably accurate to modern fashion

I have found a good money/loot making method. First you acquire the "Healing Fire" spell. Then go to the first dungeon and stop at the first opponent. Now, start matching all elements except ice. When you have about 10hp less than your max hp, cast the spell and repeat. Theoretically, you can regenerate and collect as much loot as you want in one day, as long as you don't kill your opponent. It's a good method for low level players I think.

Using the spell "COLD SNAP" to finish the enemy, you can do additional hits to earn more LOOT!
With 40 mana storage, this means 5 hits per enemy!

I think that the game would be way better if the enemies actually played the game along with you, instead of just automatically attacking.

Another bug: Sometimes, using timewarp will freeze the game - enemy won't move, but you can't either because it's their turn.
Other than some occasional bugs, this is a really enjoyable and addicting game.

Ran into a bug with the Midas Touch spell - it created a ton of fire blocks and then didn't remove them, even though there were a couple rows of 3+. I swapped one fire with another and it triggered them all but I only got mana from the ones that I switched, and it left a fire element sprite in the top left of my screen.
Got the bug to repeat - this time I got the same result with the ice mana (except without the ice icon stuck at the top left)

I got addicted to this game in a heartbeat! It's really fun, and although it's similar to Puzzle Quest in some ways, it has such unique features that it stands on its own...the 'enemies remaining' suggestion I saw above would definitely be awesome, though.

Heal match needs to be increased, or at least increase over time. +2 health becomes pretty insignificant real quick. Really great game though :)

I have to agree that unholy temple was a huge spike in difficulty that seemed out of place (as the rest of the levels were actually easier. That seems to be par for the course with this series though. Also, really easy to spam storm spells at the end to prevent enemy turn.

One of my least favorite things about this game is that, by the time you pay off the debt, the items you get aren't really that good... Think I'll pay debt-free next time, that's a lot of gold I could have used elsewhere.
