hmmm maybe lowering energy of some weapon buff like battlestation and energize beams may be good cause i cant perform the next attack because my energy is depleted after the buff

ok, I REALLY don't get the protection system. When I hit them with a railgun, a completely random protection decreases... and it seems that a random protection is applied to reduce the damage as well? what's the point in having three of them then?

Ridiculous, impossible advancement. Terribly balanced game. Did you even play it ONCE before you released it? You can't even advance past the first star system.

A lot of negative comments, i really don't get it. Theres plenty of xp and money to go around in this game you just need to give each ship a specific job and stick to it the whole game. Buying protective items is a must, because each mission is like a puzzle. Some of them seem very difficult until you see they all use the same energy type. (i.e. a whole team of plasma splash damage, and youre only allowed 1 unit. Put 2 plasma defs on him and youre good to go.)
Just always do your best to add new unit types in and even though its a struggle, keep adding them to teams so they can get xp.

I love the ships from all the different shows and movies.
The A.S Oddyssey = Naboo Starfighter (Star Wars). The A.S Trom = Raptor (Battlestar Galactica). A.S Crippler = Battlestar (BG). Pirate Fighter = Jedi Starfighter (SW). Pirate Cruiser = Republic Cruiser (SW) and so on

wasp is impossible to use because he dies in the first 3 turns and you have to have her in the middle. if you use her in the front lines your screwed no matter what you do.

this guy has seen way to many space sci-fi movies and tv shows. (wasp=naboo starfighter from star wars, bomber=Leiutenant Sharon's ship from Battlerstar Galactica, pirate wasp=anakin's skywalker's craft from the beginning of Star Wars III)

It's a pretty fun space game, though as it has been mentioned before the balance is way off. I suppose one way of looking at it is that this game is sort of like life. You can't go back, you can't reset. so just think 3 moves ahead, and hope to out-smart everyone else. The chalenge is what makes it fun. Oh, and JMCrooks, everyone else can make it outta the first star system. So what does that say about you?

I think I found a bug. I noticed that my Hulk ship didn't get any armor upgrades on some levels. It was level 7 but had only 7/5/6.
