I agree the game always has room for improvement, but on the bright side it is still wonderfully more addicting than many other's out there :)

I have a current high score of 260 billion. First you need to have beaten most places so you have plenty of points to upgrade your character. Bunnyman burrows is the map to play. You need to use the robbery spell on the last few levels (I had less than 100k points with levels to go). Before the last five levels I was casting the spell to get double souls, plus the splash and slow spells (it takes a while before you can simutaneously cast all three without running out of mana right away). I use the magic character and I upgrade its wizards pal and ancient suit. That gives you a bunch of damage and +70% mana combined. So later on when I have like 8 of those guys upgrade like that at the end of the game I am getting mana really quickly, like the 2,000 mana takes like less than 5-10 seconds to fill. Anyways, it takes some time but you can get up in the billions as well following that strategy.

Great way to get gold, put 10 skill points into the mana skill, then use the gold spell that doubles the gold the monsters have that round, and it stacks, so since it costs 600, it can be played a max of 3 times in one round, so say you casted it 3 times on a boss that had 150 gold, you would get 1200 gold in one round :D extra tip, use weapons with the mana power so you can gain it back faster, i've found the wizard's bow (an archer weapon just to make that clear lol) to be very useful with 20% mana gain. Happy hunting ^^

Great game! When you pause the game and set to harvest resources your units will atempt to attack. When you change the recource still on pause they will shoot at completly different target even one that's not in their range. Skill points to reduced recruting, mana pool and wizz of legnds. Hit doubled money spell 3 times on start. Main tactic is to put mana gaining wizzards on the beginning and some life leechers too. Then cast soul steal and champions spell all the time.

"Splishity Splashity" virtually requires that you have unlocked the Wild Warhammer warrior weapon. You may have to complete some of the other maps first.

For those of you who get the undefined item, one way to go about it is to sell it, gives n/a all resources allowing you to place at no cost, you also get n/a score tho so i wouldnt recommend it if you are aiming at highscore. Cheerio

Just beat it. I really enjoyed this game even though it was repetitive at times. Most games start out easy and get harder, but this game seemed to be the opposite. It starts out hard, but once I got "critter critter", I easily beat the rest of the game.
For those that are complaining about the harvesting, I can only assume you haven't gotten very far in the game. Here's a tip: Don't harvest things near your main units. Set a warrior in the middle of some resources near the end of the map or off in the boonies and give him a harvesting weapon. "The harvester" will usually collect the resources in about three hits. Then, give him a cheap weapon to "recycle" your lost resources. Rinse, repeat. Good luck!

also, mix some warriors (now and then) with the second weapon (to smuch), it's cheap and will really help the archers as you reach the final waves. Remember to mix up wizards with slow/smuch before your archers are and before your super armored warrios (2 or 3 is enough). =)

This isnt hard . . . Just rough it till u get to level 6. Upgrade bows, Use archers only, Find the critter critter bow. Use that bow only and you've won every level. easy

I am having fun with this, though i have to say, the critter critter is a bit too good (it could have 25% crit rate and still be one of the better bows), and the tempral bow is realy bad (500 souls for 5 damage, 1% crit and 1% berserk with some peirce,) even with its range and fire rate those bonuses are just way too slow to be near worth it, unless you have an acorn of switching siting in you inventory of course. It needs something to make its fire rate worth wile (soul steal and life leach and steal could work as teleport and slow, which would make more sense, are on the holy protectipedia)

To spend an hour on the zombie map, only to lose it 3 rounds from the end, and not to poor planning, but from the game not recognizing when an enemy is hit is extremely frustrating. It's not a bad game but situations like this make it hard for me to enjoy.

Tip: Put the majority of your points into damage dealing then put a few into Master craftsman, and then some in soul harvester. Regardless of the enemies weakness, points in damage dealing will let your initial set of units (I usually make archers or warriors depending on the map layout) own everything the first few levels so you can set up your harvesters and begin building specific units to the weakness of the enemies. Hope this helps!

I love tower defense games, but not the ridiculously hard ones. It is nice to be able to actually beat the levels and progress to a definitive conclusion rather than replaying the same levels and dying over and over again. Kinda takes the fun out of it after a while.

Yay, a new Protector-style defense game. I'd just been commenting that it was time for Protector 5. THis isn't quite what I was expecting, but I'll settle for it! 5/5!

i dont have the resources to fight and harvest. how about adding a harvest unit that can be upgraded with better tools

Apparently, if you use 'Target Unslowed' your protectodoll will target enemies above the gathering target. If the enemies are gone, it will resume gathering resources. If you found this usefull: plus [+] if this is still working

Good game. Light-hearted new twist on the Protector Series. My only complaints are: 1)Achievements no longer grant bonuses like they do in the rest of the games; basically makes them pointless and removes the compulsive need to play longer to unlock them all. 2)You can't keep loot after the map ends which pretty much sucks where as the other games you could. 3)No explanation/tutorial on how to properly use blueprints to give units good gear since you can't keep loot. 4)Enemies move too fast/Units attack too slow; allowing us to upgrade attack rate like other Protector games would solve this.
I look forward to a sequel of this Protector spin-off and hopefully you'll take some of these suggestions into mind. :P

This game is amazing, even though it's really unbalanced and I can't pass a few levels, I'm still addicted and try every time. I really hate that the game is hard, because at some points, I don't have good enough equipment to beat the level. I'll sure be waiting for Little Protectors 2 and I'll hope that it will be more balanced.

I really don't see what everyone is upset about this is truly a work of art in the TD business. It's a puzzle TD almost once you figure out what you need for a level (and you have to be sure you are doing the RIGHT level for your equipment/skills) you also need to make sure your guys are positioned correctly. All in all I commend you for your work but because it's apparent that this is to HARD for people maybe just add a simple Easy, Medium and Hard mode for all of the levels. I love TD's so I really appreciate the challenge thank you!

please add a conformation box when you hit the quit button. Its no fun to loose on the second to last lvl because you hit the hit butto instead of the speedup because your mouse decides to jump a cm exactly at that moment.

It's a very good balanced game! Not to hard and not to easy. The key to victory is to use your brain and the right equipment ;). Of course adding a lot item find, soul colectors too! (Money is not really importand)

Harvesting takes far too long, especially since you can't attack enemies while harvesting. Skill points are too few and far between.

When your editing your spellbook, if you click an empty square and there is still room in your spells to memorize....well theres a bug there, which results in NaN/1000 mana for me. And a pretty cool graphic :P

It is quite possible to achieve 110% slow, perhaps even higher, on a wizard. When hit by an attack from such a unit, creeps actually move backwards. Bosses in particular are rendered completely harmless. (Of course, by the time you are able to do this, you have several other ways to effectively deal with bosses.) However, >100% slow doesn't particularly seem to work with splash.
