ok, so im calling it quits after week 1233, having 1k skill stats across the board with the exception of firstaid, which is oddly at 1161. Having accumulated 79754 gold, upgraded the entire town, and defeated every dungeon, the only thing that's kept me ocupied for the last 500+ weeks is trying to find the last rest spot (the one below crystal caverns). 500 weeks of nothing but exploring :-/ I'm pretty sure that after that amount of time, I *know* every goddamn ant on a first name basis

I am the hope of your entire race! I have been summoned to save this world, as I am one of the mighty ascended! but, sadly, I have lost many of my powers, so instead of vanquish evil, I'm going to sweep streets for half a year, and demand I rest at home at least twice as much as I work! Perhaps there should be some 'Woodcutter' or 'Mining' job to gain material.
Otherwise, I rather enjoy the game itself.

Combat in this one is the worst. I would rather have control than my character randomly doing magic attacks for no damage, when I haven't trained the skill, and getting me killed. Terrible implementation on that!

Bug: final score screen seems to list Smarts as your best stat, regardless of whether or not it's your highest value.

I don't like this game. 1&2 were perfect, you have too much graphics in this. It makes everything look cluttered. I really feel like you could have done better D: 3/5

there are way too many glitches on this game, its making it unplayable. whenever i move in a dungeon i keep on moving straight into another enemy. i love the pet protector series but im not enjoying this game, just finding it frustrating as i die from running into a new enemy before im ready. sort the glitches out and im sure ill enjoy it but until then it is unplayable.

Love the Pet Protector series and this is no exception, 5/5 :D Couple of things I noticed - Better Builder says it improves scavenging, but it doesn't. Also, it would be nice if the village screen remembered your 'show names' preference.

Here is a tip for Pet Protector 3.
Start the game by working as a sweeper. He receives a bonus to the exploration skill. Feel free to train it up until 500. Then on the map, instead of doing dungeons, explore. You can find new workers, gold, piety, prestige, skills, stats, new rest places etc. Most importantly, you find new dungeons. The strongholds are a chain of very hard dungeons unlocked one after another. They are meant to be hard and dealt with later on when you are stronger. Also, don’t worry about the time that much. Rebuilding your village gives you tons of prestige, and that can be transformed into youth potions, which give you longer life.

i lol'ed at pointy stick cost in academy upgrades. it costs more to buy them a pointy stick than to get most of the other building upgrades

I haven't commented on any of the Pet Protector games yet, but I have played them, and I've always had two issues with them:
1. The "step forward, step back" approach to skills has never made sense to me.
2. I wish I could see what the skills actually translate to in terms of hard stats. I don't care as much about how much Melee Mastery I have, for example: I mainly want to see if I can actually hit whatever I'm fighting. The stat numbers are less important as what they represent in actual situations.
You did that right in your Mercantile stat, where you can see how much that changes the sell price of objects you pick up in the game.

Another glitch/bug. With my current relaxations skills the park is supposed to give -30% stress but only gives -28%. i understand that is most likely due to a rounding error 4% a day instead of ~4.25% but its things like that that make the game not so polished.

ohh interesting someone mentioned it in another place before but after seeing it here tested it and saw its true
ok when you explore your character finds something interesting say gold,piety, items (not villagers, dungeons) you can click the box as fast as possible to keep getting that reward over and over again. So say exploring you get +10 materials you can keep clicking it to +10 as much as you can. Oh and by doing this you forfeit the other rewards.

I'm going to echo most others and say the stress system sucks. It seems very unbalanced unlike older games, that or I found better resting places easier. Also when i miss 5 times in a row, it gets really annoying that I don't get stat boosts for fighting. Good game, but its extremely unbalanced. Balance out everything and it would be 5/5, until then its only 3/5.

Noticed a bug, better building training says adds construction and magic resist, but only increases construction skill.

I think I've encountered a strange bug, at some point in combat it starts saying "resisted" and "-200" in place of misses and actual damage, and after the false labels fade away you can see the actual ones... leaving the dungeon and coming back does not fix it.

Another great game from Undefined! I do have have complaint though... it's just the stress system. Is it meant to stress me out in real life, because it does! ಠ_ಠ

I love the stress system, it gives the game a feeling of reality. If it wasnt there the game would be a lot easier and require less thinking/strategy. Yes maybe a free mode (ie. unlimited time) would be be a plus, but love the stress doesnt increase by walking around in a dungeon. Great job 5/5

Hint: Combat skills (especially defensive) need to be ~100 per white star of difficulty for the dungeon to be able to storm it with minimal rests. Don't neglect First Aid as a skill either.

hate the fact that i choose warrior class, train my melee skill and dont train my magic, YET my character insists on using the magic attack 3 times in a row, causing less damage in all 3 hits than one of my melee hits! should be an option for this...
