I love this game, but this particular challenge made for a quite lengthy BOTD. Very difficult to complete, especially if you don't use your skill points and items properly. Not a great BOTD pick for those who don't play this time of game regularly.

At the start, the character background screens made me really want to like this game. Then it turned out to just be a dumb tower defense game.

Easy badge of the day: use fire-type footmen in first story line quest, no need to upgrade, just spam em from exit towards entrance. Repeat that same mission 10 times. Use the xp and items you get on the way to upgrade swordplay, logistics and fireskill to go a bit faster.

Spread your experience points out to your mages. Place the last mages in line first so the front ones don't get too many. Also, levels usually take a few replays just to get to see most of the waves so you can plan your strategy better. Each time you'll get a little further then last and can make adjustments. Only build as many mages as you need for each round then add more in bulk when the enemies strengths change. Good luck guys.

I'm sorry, but how do you use the items in your inventory? The only way I've found to access them is by going to the store, but you can only sell them. Is them being in your inventory putting their bonuses into effect? Thank-you.

Tip for getting the daily badge faster: It seems "Complete any 10 quests" is ANY, thus just repeat the easiest quest you can 10 times.

after playing and completing a bunch of quests.... it seems nothing got counted except for that first slot where i just did one quest before restarting.... the progress in slot 2 doesn't seem to be being tracked :-(

this game is just impossible. after 4 quests, i simply can't beat other waves, too hard. despite improvments, upgrades, xp, it's simply too difficult

Nice game, but there are some things which lower its score: (1) waves are often too unbalanced (2) extreme low frame rate when there are too many enemies moving (3) no pause button.
Good thing is the "speed up". 3/5 [I would have liked to give 4/5]

So many popups... argh... i wish the character upgrade screens would automatically close (when doing quests) when you click outside of them. Having to click the X is not userfriendly and also why does the game not progress until i close the upgrade windows? And the wave info popup that you also have to close is annoying too and should only be optional shown.

Same game mechanic flaw as in all the protector games: when you hire a new unit in the late part of the mission, it doesn't do anything, and the current units aren't enough to tackle the monsters but they also take too long to level up, so you end up with a pile of useless cash. Hard to believe this awful mechanic made it through for the 4th time and is basically the reason nobody makes TD games with it: it SUCKS.

Take careful note of the scouting reports, and pay attention to the elemental strengths and weaknesses. There is a HUGE difference between the damage you deal against an element that you're strong against versus one you're weak against.
