I think that is a bug, look, when you have a unit selected to put in square (game ground), and you win the wave, you can not put space to discard the protector of you are holding, you have to put into a square anyway.

And how can i put to get the hero who have poison warriors that are so quickly to attack and give a loot chance with the abilities tree?

Easy mode: Units: use Trainee (high dps, ranged) and Archwizard (high range, poison) on main hero. Hero skills: Leadership, Tactics and Logistics (upgrade units faster, place more units at start). Character skills: Magics use (all others are of no use; Leadership - more heroes - is a waste of points!)

Permanent hero element change: Have 2 different Element Switch items (example: fire and ice). Place both items in hero inventory (fire 1st, ice 2nd). Remove items from hero inventory in reverse order (ice 1st, fire 2nd). Your hero will now have element of the 2nd removed item (fire).

i was itching to play a tower defense, found this again, and dumped several hours into it. Such a great game. and man that Forgotten Cavern quest is a tough one

@enter1 the wisdom skill is useful as although exp cost increases every time you upgrade a skill, exp gain will remain same. If wisdom skill is upgraded then your exp gain would become proportional with the exp cost (probably)

For the last comment, I mean the Wisdom skill seems useless, because it increases the EXP the player gain but every time you upgrade a skill the EXP cost will increase too.

The thing i loved about the earlier games was that they were simpler which made it much more about strategy and placing your units carefully to get the win. This one just seems overly complicated and more about getting the right heroes to just breeze through each level. I know i'm late on the train, but the later games totally lost what made the first few great.

You know there is something to a game when, several years after the release of the first one, I find myself crawling back once again to best the mighty campaigns of Protector. This game is easily a 5/5 in my book.

Tip: Try to get a hero that has Alchemist as a basic class. It's as powerful as a Warrior, but ranged and hits flying stuff, which means nothing can escape it.

I wish undefined would come out with a new Protector. Protector IV was such a step up from the earlier Protectors, the idea of what they could do with a Protector V....

my game had a funny glitch so when i looked over the enemies weakness the game said they were strong against weak and weak against strong.... i was like well no s*** sherlock

Game was to easy. i just picked the energy starter hero and never use anyone else (only for 1 Map ... i used the fire starter hero)

STILL doesn't have the selling ability that is sought out in this series, prehaps the only which lacks such skills. Besides that, 7/5

Absolutely phenomonal TD game with cool ways to synergize heroes and use strategies to beat those darned waves of enemies. Any fantasy TD fan would love this game instantly. 10/10, on to the expansion!
