Get a hero with the Protectorate's ranged units (patroler and defender) ASAP and use that hero only for the rest of the game. Put all level ups towards ranged for both you and the hero. Those are OP due to consecrate, which negates any weakness your element has to any mobs.

Great game, always fun to play. Can't help to wonder who hired the enemy general tho.
"Our army is ready sir. We outnumber them greatly"
"Very well... Forth, my minions. In a straight line, walk that path arround the enemy forces."
"B-but sir, shouldn't we engage the enemy soldiers?"
"Never! We'll just walk quietly past them, maybe they won't notice us"

At one point item management gets really time consuming and uncomfortable. If there was perhaps a sort button by item stats it would help a lot.

"wait how come it costs 25 gold to buy a mage who knows the wonderful ways of the earth but simply moving a cabbage costs 50 gold."

So I'm not a very good mercenary... I fail at most of my quests that aren't storyline. The only reason I can figure that people keep hiring me is that my agency's name is CannonFodder Mercenaries, Inc.

I've completed the game, but there are three talent scrolls I don't have... that aren't in the shops. Woodsman, Craftsman, and Plains Walker. Are these only loot/drop on quests, or do I need to get better faction relations to have them available, or something?

2 hours back in and I remembered why I got carpal tunnel syndrome back in 2010. I just healed. Man.. Great game though :)

Trop compliqué par rapport au premier. Je préfères la simplicité des précédents.
Too complicated compared to the first. I prefer the simplicity of the foregoing.

why the hell am i not able to beat a single normal quest? and why can't a restart a quest? Why are all of the bonuses 5%, do you not realize that 5% of 20 is 1? great set up STUPID execution.

Compared to the predecessors, this game is ridiculously convoluted. tons of heros, tons of different upgrades, skills, attributes, talents. It's unnecessarily flooded with features.

Has anyone completed their Protectomon collection? If so, could you post a screenshot of what they all look like? Thanks!

alot of explanation for not much action =s and the directions often miss the mark. Could be a cool game, but keep the story and directions to the point and match what you explain to what is actually going on.

There is way too much clicking involved for repetitive actions. And way too many Harry Potter references. We got the point after one or two references.

This was the easiest Protector by far. Not amused! The others where much more fun. I only hired 2 more and only skilled range, elemntal and swordplay. I always used the same 3 Heroes and I were able to spam through the levels without checking the Strenght or Weakens of the waves it was really easy! I wanna see if im the only one if you are through the red Storyline please answer with your Stats mine are:
Best Score: 32,852
Succes: 31
Failures: 10 (after my 9th Failure i had like onyl 11 wins the no more fails)
Total Kills: 12,188
Loot Found: 123
Tiles Paved: 73
Critical Hits: 17
Time Wasted: 05h : 39m : 23s
I would appreciate if you answer with your stats thank you!

- in combat, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to see all my available units at once without having to switch commanders.
- in combat, there's no reason I should have to click more than once to see a unit's upgrade tree, especially if the game doesn't pause while I'm doing so.
- there's lots more, but those are the biggest ones
decent game otherwise. thanks

Lots of little annoyances in the interface:
- setting body text in all-caps and centred is bad typography, uncomfortable to read.
- how useful the "random faction unit" scrolls are is impossible to know before buying/using it. I couldn't find info on what factions have what units.
- Whether a hero is any good is difficult to know before hiring. I couldn't find any info in-game on what units did what.
- too many personal skills say "will give a bonus" without saying what the bonus is.
- while a pretty good source for game mechanic info, the protectopedia has basically nothing on what I hoped it would have: detailed technical info on units and factions.
- kind find out what my new badge gives me until I go to the talent screen and hunt down the badge. Show me what it does when I get it, or let me mouse-over the popup.
