Even at "speed up" and lower quality settings, it still takes several seconds for a wave to complete. An even faster speed would be nice.

@shaoxiong- each little flag is a battle you can fight... the whole world map is, that I know of, visible from the start... also, there are the different pages, such as "heroes" where you command your heroes, or sell items, etc.
@Aceedwin- usually, you don't need to level up every character as soon as possible... in fact, on most maps, it's possible to win the game without ever leveling up any unit... however, I have not noticed a "lag" in the sparkle effect coming on... So I don't know what to tell you about that
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm not sure, but I think that when you get a discount on levelling up your units, the sparkle effect still doesn't turn up until experience is at the base level. Minor bug, but annoying when you need every upgrade the second you can get it.

It would be nice to see how many enemies are in a wave. Also after you hit ok on the description of the monsters it would be nice to bring it back up. I want a faster speed up option too please.

Ok so um... I payed 2000 gold for a scroll. The scroll teaches me an ability that gives me 5 gold after every successful quest. That means I have to successfully complete 400 quests before this thing even pays itself off... WTF?

uhh for the river curse mission thing... i found a typo. In the middle of the paragraph it says "the men say the river the cursed", and i kinda doubt thats correct tbh, just another typo for ya=D

This game seems ridiculously easy once you get a good couple of heroes. The only real trick is working around certain absorbs that sometimes come up and can't be avoided easily. I started with a trainee/archmage hero (energy), and then once I got an archer/crossbow (physical) hero it was pretty easy from there on out. After 12 hours I have my mage at 38 magic (w/ artifacts), meaning she does +76% damage. The last level I just put an archmage on, then another, then another, and didn't even bother upgrading them. Melee? Worthless.

Believe it or not, I really miss the 8 songs the other protector game I played had (Protector 1?). Not that having the choice of 4 isn't awesome enough in itself, it's just I'm saying I liked the huge selection previously. Other than that, I really do like this protector game a lot better. It just seems more... fun. Oh, and I agree, hotkeys would be nice. Even to do simple things like closing the window. That really gets annoying.

It should be made so that you can't re-buy a talent scroll, I'm not sure which ones I've used and which ones I haven't.

(Oh and once you do upgrade one guy, you can't click on another guy to upgrade until you first close the window -- another step in the process).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there a way to shortcut-key when you upgrade? Clicking on each guy every few seconds, then clicking within that window to get to the upgrade window, then selecting mostly the same upgrades gets boring. Some kind of keypress when you click on a character to auto-upgrade would be great (if there isn't such a thing).

Ok i have a thing for the Theif and Shadowdancer classes... cause of the loot abilities...
One question bout my friend the shadowdancer... His loot gain chance apparently goes up by 25 then 25 then 25 and at the final upgrade 50... so does that mean he actually has a chance of 125% loot gaining? wouldnt that mean he has a chance of gettin 2 items? correct me please if i'm wrong

I love this game. I foresee many playthroughs. My only complaints are about the user interface. I'll just pick on the hero selection screen for now: I should be able to equip my heroes from the selection screen before starting quests! I should be able to see the stats and skills of my heroes and units from the selection screen, as well. Thanks for making a great game, despite these quirks!

I am in desperate need of hotkeys. At least for closing an open window.
And an even faster fast forward would be perfect.

Totally awesome.
But it would be much friendly with a feature of classifying the accessories by their functions and bonuses.

Easy way to get money:
When you get up to the storyline quest "Hold the Gates" by the Council of Magi, if you have an ice-hero accept the quest. Put one of the advanced units at the bottom entrance. The first wave will be semi-hard, but when you beat it you'll get lots of money. Add more advanced units and upgrade them if you can - aim for a row of advanced units. It doesn't matter if they're melee or not. When you've finished it, click "Menu" and then reload your game. You'll have the finished quest, but the reward has gone back up to 220. Repeat as much as you want.

Okay, so I typically understand the way the game's finances work. Just one question to those smarter than me: What exactly does "Scouting Report" and then a number with a gold symbol mean? Is this how much you get from finishing the quest?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
uhh it says when you hire an archer guy from the first physical hero you get (archer) for my game... Well at the end in the middle of the basic crossbow skill tree, it says it increases reload speed by 10, not 10%. Just a small typo, wanted to point that out.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@zay2: units have the same element as the hero- to get a different type, you need to hire a new hero with that unit, or get an item that changes the elemnet.

My only big problem with this game is that when you lose, it's generally after 20 minutes of trying not to. I lost on the last 2 enemies of an entire quest.

You know what would be useful? An inventory filter. You acquire so many items in this game and it's so hard to keep track of them all. If you could sort and filter by item properties that would be awesome.

Great game, but faction management should be more challenging. And it should be able to go into the negatives, why can't anybody hate you. It would make the game more involving if everything you did effected your relations. Also, the skill tree's for units need to be longer. It should also be easier to specialize, for example, why does my thief have to get an increased loot chance to up his damage. It doesn't make sense, if you're going to have skill tree requirements at least make them related. If this becomes a problem because peoples damage goes up too high. Simply lower the damage bonus and create more levels of it. That way you can steadily increase your units damage over some period of time.

Are you sure this is an RPG game bc I usually thought RPG games were to where you walked around and crap but this is a major disappoitment to all RPG games.
