Man, this is the game that introduced me to Kongregate back in '08. I was playing on Newgrounds at that time but I saw this game and it had exclusive units only available on Kongregate so I've been here since then. It feels great revisiting it, even though I already have all the badges.

After about 1 hour: 4 maps completed, easy marathon to go.
After 2 and a half hours: 4 maps completed, easy maraton for the next time. It;s not "I want the daily badge" anymore. It's "I want to finish this @#$%! stage!!!"

Okay, so apparently it didn't want to award me the count, but upon reloading the game, it seemed to have awarded it toward the badge correctly.

Why Kong,why?!
You made THIS the badge of the day, are you sadistic or something?
It is far too laggy and takes far too long to just get through one wave.

Good, game, but as others have already said, takes too long to win. I don't mind though, I put down several units then start doing my homework

This was the first game I ever played on Kong, and the reason I made my account in the first place. 6 years ago the comments were all about how this was the best game ever, and now its all just people whining about the speed of the game. Oh, internet

Worst badge of the day ever. Normally I can get them all in about two hours. This one alone is taking over an hour. Got to love "click and wait" games

It would be nice if it was clear what path the enemy waves will take. Most TD's have the enemy take the shortest path to the exit, but in this game sometimes they will loop around stuff for no reason. Knowing ahead of time where they will loop around is critical in the early waves of any hard level. Inevitably you will have to take a loss just to learn where they will walk. That makes this already slower than molasses game even slower. This game was probably good in it's time but nowadays it feels more akin to and "idle" game. Also brief descriptions of what units do when you "specialize" them would be nice.

Completely unoriginal, boring, and SLOW entry into the TD genre. How it survived this long is anyone's guess. I get that TD was fairly new back then, but this game had nothing original to add to it, so why make it a BotD now?

*looks at stats* "Time Wasted" Wait what? Most stats say Time Spent, but this says Time Wasted.... I think its telling me something

I definitely would not have played this game for this long had it not been for the Badge of the Day. Too slow developing into anything that feels like a real game. There are far better tower defense games available to waste time on this one.

An amazing game with a nice touch of humor. This is the first game I've seen that actually let you, for the most part, choose what you want to do in the tutorial while teaching you plenty at the same time. For an old game, this one is great. The only advice I have, and it seems like other people want this too, is a speed button to help with long waves. Still, I give it a 5/5.

The knights are underpowered to the other units in that way that they have a much lower range, that makes enemies with a shield weakness much harder to kill than others

Hmm, cleared this game before I got a user on here, and I distinctly remember a wave preview function which was crucial to clearing almost every single map not labeled "Easy". Rather disappointed that this feature was removed, and for this reason this is now no more than a 4/5 from me.
