I'm playing my second time through since i lost my saved game from a while back and want all the 'chievo's. Wasn't there a bar that gave wave information? Like right above the menu at the bottom of the screen there was a little bar that showed what the future waves were going to be weak against and strong against. That was/is in this game?

Like the game / series, but no preview of mob resistances = fail. I mean you have absolutely no idea what's coming so have fun wasting 15 minutes or more on a stage only to have a late wave that happily skips through your defenses unharmed. I suppose the idea is to have to play each stage more than once, but with no speed up button that's pretty painful.

ARGH. This X button which let's me close a tap immediantly is EXTREMELY annoying! I can't switch to this tap because the X is in the way!

Click low quality!! It speeds the game up, slightly. I have completed the 23 maps twice on other websites, just completed 5 maps for the 2008 award, too many hours involved for hard, it should be impossible badge IMO. Archers are the best :) Thats more than likely why it isn't part of the 2nd medium badge. Great game that I've enjoyed in the past, but to slow. If your after a great score on the final map, it comes from good gold and lives at the end of every level.

Ive played another version of this...and all I have to say is that I am dissapointed in this one. Not complicated enough...and as someone previously mentioned its slow. I think in the other version they actually let you increase the enemy and ally rate of speed. It seems to be a simpler version of what they already made...with new maps. Like I said. Dissapointing and a bit boring.

Would the longtime fans of the game who have been rating down the speed and preview criticisms please try PLAYING the game in its present form? Without preview, it's impossible to beat even the easy stages without lots of trial and error playthroughs. Without speedup, all those extra playthroughs will take hours per map. The game used to be a challenging, slow-paced classic. Now it's too time consuming to bother with.

What happened to the wave preview option? I'm glad I already had the badges for this one, I can't imagine trying a 40-wave level with no ability to plan more than one wave ahead.

There didn't seem to be a point in putting different types so I put all but 4 the same color... Then there was an absoring enemy and only 4 guys could attack him... lol

I played this game ages ago, and for some reason my file isn't here still. But never the less I went to start again, but every single time I kill an enemy I get like a second of lag, after every kill, which never happened before. I have no idea what happened.

It's an alright game, but the isometric grid view can be annoying - you can't click your units if an enemy is on the pathway in front of them for example. And no speed up button...I've played for 45 minutes and only done 3 maps.
