Most frustrating game I ever played. Playing one hour on the marathon level to get the Badge Of The Day. One of the last waves has fire absorb. Couldn't kill a single one. But all down to 20% or less. No second longer will I play this game. And 'twas such a nice day...

It’s interesting to see the negative comments here - when this originally came out, I remember it being seen as a great new game (and I really enjoyed playing it). That was back in the very early days of tower defense games, before the expected mechanics of todays games were present. How times change.

for a badge of the day, this was quite tedious. to get a balanced map composition you need the 'back' of your map to level early (protip, get hte +xp skills asap) and with no FF button, this just elongates the process. I did work/facebook/post this comment in between waves it was so non-engaging.

... I dunno if anyone's said this, but I think this is the first game I've played on Kongregate that I'd prefer to be playing somewhere else, rather then the other way around.
Why remove the preview bar from this version, but leave others perfectly intact? I'm completely at a loss.

@megamanman, did you also finish the energy mage requirement? gotta have 5 of those also in 1 map I believe. Last I checked all the badges were working fine so I'm just asking.

Only buy mages and don't upgrade them. Place them as close to the entry point as possible and have a mage of each colour together. This way you damage the enemy all over the place whether they can fly or not.

Hired 6 necromacers and 2 paladins in one game. Only unlocked the "hire 2 paladins" condition for the achievement. Next game Hired 2 Necromancers Still no achievement.

Man, this is the game that introduced me to Kongregate back in '08. I was playing on Newgrounds at that time but I saw this game and it had exclusive units only available on Kongregate so I've been here since then. It feels great revisiting it, even though I already have all the badges.
